VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH AVAS FLOWERS! I placed a Mother's Day order and the delivery promised was 5/9 to 5/11. NOW, I get an email stating that they won't deliver until 5/12 AFTER MOTHER'S DAY! I would have NEVER placed my order, but now I am stuck because I STILL want my Mom to get flowers. I can ONLY HOPE that she gets a beautiful bouquet. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!

100% false advertising! Did not receive what I ordered at all. A flower was also complete broken off the stem, leaves all scattered/not trimmed. Charged a ridiculous service fee charge on top of a delivery charge and was not delivered same day. Absolutely terrible customer service because there is NONE. FIRST PICTURE IS WHAT WAS PAID FOR AND 2ND PICTURE IS WHAT WAS ACTUALLY RECEIVED

This is not a legitimate brick-and-mortar florist with an actual location -- and I learned this the hard way. They're a clearing house for orders they pass on to local florists. Reminiscent of a PIMP, they are merely bottom dwellers feeding off others. In MY case, they totally screwed me by failing to deliver an order on the date THEY had confirmed. (*And the order was simply a $100 orchid -- a PLANT, not even an ARRANGEMENT that needed to be created!) "Customer service" is as foreign as their non-English-speaking BABBLERS on the phone -- who are overseas as they tell you they're "in the main office.") When they had failed, they offered me a 30% discount on my next order. I told them to "Keep it! Even if the order was FREE, I wouldn't trust you to DELIVER IT!"

Devastating Scam
March 8, 2025

I ordered a bouquet that was suppose to look like photo and they sent a something else. Contacted the company and they stated they had a right to substitute flowers. They substitute the entire bouquet. I did not want to alert my mom but I was so broken hearted. It was her 70th birthday. I ordered balloons and she did not receive them. The order was rushed. I spent over $100 and they refunded me $3. The photos speak for themselves and I can provide a receipt if contacted. The colorful photo is what my mom should have received and the bouquet with the balloons is what they delivered. Hurtful.

Title: Extremely Disappointed – Avoid This Company

Review:
I recently ordered flowers from Ava's Flowers, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The arrangement I received was nothing like what was advertised on their website—it was smaller, of lower quality, and missing key flowers. On top of that, customer service was unhelpful when I tried to resolve the issue on their website, I went into a never ending loop that didn't allow me to even tell them anout my situation, which is unacceptable given the poor service.

I would strongly advise others to avoid this company and look elsewhere for reliable, high-quality flower delivery.

I ordered a lovely floral arrangement for my sister to celebrate a special occasion. When Ava's Flowers couldn't fulfill the chosen arrangement they offered to upgrade the selection of flowers with a designer's choice and priority deliver the next morning. The delivery came at 5:45 PM - most flowers were wilted, some were dead and the type of flowers were cheap certainly not an upgrade! I've seen nicer flowers in supermarket floral shops! I was disgusted and ashamed to have sent them to my sister. After much complaining I was offered a 70% refund (then much later a full refund) which I finally accepted. I will NEVER order flowers from this company again!

Valentines Day 2025. Flowers never arrived. Nothing but runaround from the company. You cannot get thru to a human. Their bot and web site support is a joke. If they ripped you off, send a complaint to the Delaware Attorney General's office. They appear to claim to be a NJ company. Avas Flowers got into legal trouble in NJ for misrepresenting the company and numerous consumer complaints, which included taking people's money and not fulfilling orders.

My sister ordered a floral arrangement through AvasFlowers.net, which was fulfilled by Arts and Flowers. She selected a large arrangement size, and the picture she based her order on was a small arrangement size. What was delivered was even worse--an undersized arrangement with older roses and several leaves floating in the water. To make matters worse, it came in a cheap clear vase, which was not what she expected for the price. She paid a total of $98.72, with only $65 going toward the flowers--the rest were service fees from AvasFlowers.net. Given the poor quality and misleading representation, I would not recommend using either company. Ava's will not give a refund unless you return the flowers.

I ordered a nice $100+ 'Get Well' arrangement and Teddy Bear for a friend recuperating from surgery. The arrangement was supposed to be roses and jasmine in a decretive blue vase. What I got was a disaster! It was a hodge podge of crap flowers that had to have come from the "to die soon" pile and an arrangement that looked like a pre-school art project in a clear cheap vase. And while florist mommy may have been pleased with her 4-olds effort at flower arranging, I was not! The Teddy Bear was clearly stolen from a homeless shelter and shoved in the middle of the arrangement to cover up the weeds and half dead flowers. My friend, who thankfully has a good sense of humor, ask me if she should send a "Get Well Soon" bouquet to what I sent her as it arrived looking sicker than her. Do NOT use this service! They are a rip-off and an embarrassment to the florist industry. And if you do make the mistake of using Aves and end up upset, do not bother trying to reach their Customer Service, the phone just ask for your order number and then hangs up. There is no customer service. See photos - ordered the one in the blue vase and got the other disaster instead. Photo taken 10 minutes after delivery.

Unreliable Florist

I placed a flower delivery order on Thursday, December 26, for a funeral service on Monday morning, December 30. I spoke with Ava's Flowers on Friday, December 27, to update the delivery address as the one originally provided was a church and not open. I was assured that the flowers would be delivered to the funeral home on Saturday or Sunday. Upon returning to the office on Monday morning, I had several emails from Ava's advising that they could not deliver the flowers to the funeral home as promised. Apparently, the florist does not deliver on weekends. Of course, no one at Ava's conveyed that information when I spoke with them on Friday morning. This was a very important delivery, and Ava's Flowers could not complete the delivery as promised.
Ava's Flowers is very unprofessional and does not provide the service advertised. I would definitely not recommend this company and will NEVER use them in the future. I am very disappointed! Beware!

DO NOT waste your time or money! This business is a scam and is not accredited by the BBB, which should tell you something. I placed an order for a bouquet, teddy, and gallons to be delivered to my son-in-law, who was in the hospital alone. I was charged 28$ for same day delivery. I received an email confirmation of delivery but the flowers never were delivered! I spent two hours trying to be able to speak to a real person about it. I was told the delivery driver mistakenly marked it as delivered, which was a lie. Then was told they would deliver the next day. They said they can give me a 10% refund. My order was 149$ total. 28$ was to have it delivered the same day. It wasn't yet they could not give me the 28$. When they did refund the. "10%" it was actually 10$. I'm not sure what math that is but that's not 10%. But wait, because it gets better. The flowers still were not delivered as promised. So, now I am demanding a full refund. I don't want their flowers, as now it's too late. They ruined a moment that was crucial to someone physical and emotional recovery. They should be ashamed! Now, as a mother, I'm on a mission to make sure everyone knows to avoid doing business with this so called business!

Terrible company
December 10, 2024

I contracted with these "people" so that Jennifer would get a dozen roses delivered to her grave on her birthday, November 9th. I required a picture of these flowers at her grave. They agreed. Phone call after phone call, email after email, and after a full refund for their UTTER FAILURE, they were delivered on December 6th. I HAVE NEVER MISSED GETTING THEM TO HER ON HER BIRTHDAY NOT EVEN ONCE. THEY BROKE MY PROMISE TO HER BY NOT KEEPING THEIR PROMISE. DON'T EVER USE AVAS FLOWERS.

This company is a scam. They claim they can change based on availability of their flower arrangements but WITHIN the same type and following the arrangement chosen. So what they do is create a mediocre arrangement that looks absolutely nothing like the one ordered and not the size specified making the customer feel embarrassed and angry realizing what the recipient received! Not to mention the worst customer service ruining in this case a Birthday. I need accountability from this company. I am beyond disappointed. NEVER ORDER FORM THEM!

2 orders gone wrong

I ordered 2x from this place thinking the first order was a fluke. I was very, very wrong. I spent a total of 1.25 hours on the phone with them and me finally just saying - cancel my order, stop putting me on hold and transferring me to whoever and refund my credit card. They didn't want to deliver my order to any place but the dearly departed's home, which was not acceptable. They couldn't match what my order was when I placed it 2 days earlier. When I was angry and said refund me, they tried to send me a coupon and send it to the place where the memorial was being held - you know the place they couldn't deliver the flowers to. SMH. This cannot be in the US, this company is a joke. Avoid at all costs!

I am writing this review as a warning to others: DO NOT ORDER FROM AVAS FLOWERS. My aunt passed away last week, and I thought it would be a kind gesture to order flowers from Avas Flowers for her funeral. What a horrific mistake.

The initial order was placed on the day before the furneral grave service, but the flowers didn't arrive until 5 days AFTER the funeral. Not only did we not receive the flowers on time, but when they finally arrived, they were nothing special. The arrangement looked like something I could have bought at Walmart for a fraction of the cost. And to make matters worse, the cheap glass vase that came with it was an embarrassment.

I'm still fuming about this experience. Not only did Avas Flowers fail to deliver on their promise of timely and quality flowers, but they also left our family feeling embarrassed and disappointed during a time when we should have been able to focus on mourning and celebrating my aunt's life.

To add insult to injury, when I tried to get a full refund, the customer service team was unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate my request. They offered a paltry partial refund, which only added to my frustration. This was only offered to me after I declined a 25% off coupon on my next order.

In hindsight, I wish we had never ordered from Avas Flowers. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

UPDATE: Despite reaching out multiple times, the customer service team at Avas Flowers failed to resolve this issue satisfactorily. It's clear that they don't care about their customers or their experiences.

Very dissatisfied

I placed an order October 1,2024 and requested delivery October 3,2024. The day of the funeral was October 4,2024. The flowers were not delivered. I was told to request a refund. No one would answer the phone. Everything was digital only. The questions did not suite my problem at all. I also tried the chat bot. The same problem existed with the questions not helping with my problem. Do not waste your time dealing with this company.

I unfortunately selected Avas Flowers, a supposed local florist, because the site listed as being local in my area. My main concern was that the flowers arrived on a birthdate, which would be 2 days later. They promised it would be no problem as I ordered 2 days early. I chose the flower and gave all specifications. The pay was much higher than posted on the site because they charge $24admin fee (which is actually a hidden delivery fee). The product was not delivered on the delivery date, and no calls or explanation to either the recipient or me, the purchaser. After the 2nd day, I attempted to call Avas flowers, who apparently only answers sales calls and not follow up customer calls. After several attempts I reached their automated system which reported that there was no record of delivery and there was no other information. I pressed countless numbers until I got a live person who said that they would "place the order and have it delivered the next day" if I would not cancel. I didn't really have a choice as another order would make the gift even later. Insult to injury: when the product finally arrived it was TOTALLY different than what was ordered. I have attached pics below-the 1st is what was ordered and the 2nd wilted arrangement is what was received on yesterday. I can say with no hesitation that this a professional scam company. Do not stop at their site and for God's sake, do not purchase their products. Proof of payment is only on my AMEX which I will not be sharing on this review.

I called to cancel the order after a week without delivery. It took me 25 minutes of listening to their scripts as they tried to upsell me in exchange for a 25% discount on my next order. They offered to call the recipient. They kept putting me on hold. Then they called back to continue to try to upsell me as they cancelled the order. Still waiting on the cancellation refund. Will call my bank to reject this payment.

Awful!

Placed and order for my sisters 50th birthday, ordered a bouquet that was same day eligible. Once the order was paid for I received a text saying they couldn't get it delivered until tomorrow and it it would be a different bouquet. I paid $90 and the bouquets they offered me were 12 Tulips.
