I just received my Movado watch today. I received it within five days and it is beautiful. The packaging was wonderful. 2 boxes. The customer service people were friendly and great. I called to check on the order and they told me it was on the truck and I would get it today. Could not be happier with the product or the company. Battery is fine and it is keeping great time.
Bought a Pulsar watch after a few weeks the stem/crown started to randomly open and the watch stopped. I sent it for service, they fixed it. Lasted for another month. Same problem of stopping every few hours. Obviously, useless as a watch.
Sent it back again. They said nothing wrong. Got it back and it stopped within 25 minutes.
So, now I have an almost new, worthless watch. Paid for the watch and shipping twice. They say sorry, it's not their fault.

I live in Australia and ordered a RADO watch from Ashford few weeks ago the watch looks genuine but the date key doesn't work and I took it to the watch shop and they told it is not working so I am not very impressed. I know Ashford has provided me with 2 year warranty but it doesn't help when you in Australia as it will cost me nearly $75 just to send the watch back for repairs so I didn't expect that kind of service after spending nearly $2000 for a watch.

I live in the UK and ordered a Baume & Mercier watch from Ashford a week ago. It's currently retaining on their website for $1,250 but I got it in their Labor day sale for $800. It arrived within a few days, very well packaged, sent using UPS tracked mail. I had to pay import duties when it arrived but that was to be expected. The watch looks absolutely genuine and I've just had some links taken out of it today at a high end jewelers in London and they agree it looks spot-on. No issues with scratches or anything. I've received the Ashford 2 year warranty card (rather than the manufacturer's warranty) as I expected from the information I found online before I ordered. It has an international phone number on it should I need to call from the UK. The watch looks just as described and I have no qualms about using Ashford again. I can see that they said no refunds for foreign purchasers and I've not tested that as I don't intend to return it. I've also not needed to use their after care service either but as far as product, description, price, speed of delivery, packaging etc goes they get 100% rating from me.
They just sell their product, you can not exchange it or

First of all they are not authorized dealers and watches they sell does not come with the manufacturer warranty. Those come without a stamped warranty card. If you are International Customer - Beware!
First they instructed me to bring the watch to a repair centre and explained to take the estimate and send it to them and the costs of the repair will be reimbursed. In Estonia, where I live there are no proper watch repair centre, so I had to ship the watch directly to manufacturer. Of course Ashford told me that they will not reimburse the shipping costs. That's fair and fine with me.
I sent the watch to the manufacturer. Had the estimation sent to me and forwarded it to Ashford. I have tried to contact them every week and for almost month nothing happened - they just ignored the repair estimation I sent.
There manufacturer explained me in several e-mails that Ashford.com is not their authorized dealer and there is no manufacturer's warranty, because they do not know how and if the shipping of the watch is done accordance with requirements and proper care.
So for month Ashford's customer reps have been lying to me saying that they did not receive my e-mails with estimate. Until I sent it again and asked on of the customer reps check it right away and had her to confirm in written that they have received the estimated.
After more than a week they finally produced a reply to me with new lie: Send us the warranty papers of the watch, we will stamp it and then you will get free of charge warranty repair from the manufacturer.
When I informed that that the manufacturer does not recognize Ashford as their authorize dealer, they said that they will not put Ashford.com stamp, but another one that the manufacturer will recognize :)) )
I asked them many times, what dealer will stamp it and they never say! I even said them - tell me what the dealer is and I will call the manufacturer to find out if I am able to get the free of charge warranty repair!
What a lie!
I even called them and one customer rep told me straight away - their repair manager does not want to reimburse it, because he thinks it is too much!
Can you imagine?
Oh, and actually she said that the customer reps knew that already earlier and they actually received all my e-mails!
So they just didn't want that to go any further and just ignored me and told that they kept loosing the reimbursement estimates I sent :)) ) So nice, Ashford!

So my watch is broken for 2 months and without any warranty!
I received the watch, never used it, only put on my hand to test the style and do not like the style. I asked them for return and refund. When I returned, they never give a refund. I contact by chat a few times, and then they said that there are some body/hand oil on the watch, and said that it is worn. How can I touch the watch without leaving some hand oil on this watch? I also ask ashford via BBB to give an email address so that I can forward the picture of the watch on my hand, to see the fact that I cannot wear it without cut the strap. It is just too big for my hand/wrist. However, no one provide the details of company email from a more responsible people too me. The person who handled the case only insists that I already wear it and refuse to refund my money. This is the first case that I am so dissapointed after more than 10 years shopping on line and never have any problem with my products or services that I purchased. I will never buy anything from Ashford, and recommend all my friends and family that they should be more carefully with this company. How can their customers try to fix the watches without leaving my natural body hand on their watch?

Just like being in any store buying a watch directly they would not allow you to bring back the watch having been modified with tools and irreparably stained as this one was when we received it back. Simply holding the watch on your wrist as you might in a Retail store would not require the removal of links or protective materials, or cause the stains we found on the band. We make a promise to our clients that all of the watches we sell are unused and directly purchased from the manufacturers and we do stand firmly behind that reputation.

Latest order was a Rado Integral Jubile' watch on Dec. 9,2013. Rec'd from NY to California in 1 day... Ashford even paid for the shipping. Watch is beautiful and works great. This is my second watch from Ashford (previous Rado Ceramica in 2007... still AOK!) These watches are "grey market". Certainly authentic/new, but not factory warranted. Thus, the Ashford equivalent warranty. I even spoke to Rado CS in New Jersey and they gave Ashford the "thumbs up". Now, my watches have never broken (I have had the first one serviced normally), nor do I expect them to... however, I do trust Ashford completely if I were to ever have a problem within the warranty period.
Also, one other note of importance, within 3 days of receiving my latest watch, the price was reduced by $175.00 on the site for the holiday rush. Ashford immediately credited the $175.00 to my credit card. Simply, that is great customer service.
Will I ever order from Ashford again? Of course I will!
I bought the TW Steel Granduer TW 92 watch. I ordered it on the Thursday 18/12/2013 and it was on my doorstep in Australia on the Monday 23/12/2013. Excellent packaging and enclosed in a very nice box... Would definitely purchase through Ashford again..

I think that Victorinox (Swiss Army) has been recognized as a reputable watch maker for many years. I purchased a rather inexpensive ($379.00) model from Ashford.com which never worked properly. At first I thought that maybe I wasn't operating it correctly but realized that the crown just wasn't staying locked in place after using it for setting the time. I took it to my jeweler who is a Victorinox dealer because I felt that they were more likely to get good service from the factory than I would as a one time client. I received the watch by mail after it was repaired and could barely read the dial through the moisture behind the bezel. This was a new problem that I hadn't noticed prior to the first repair. My belief is that Ashford purchases seconds from these watchmakers and sells them as premium quality products. Yes, they do sell them at a discount, but you should beware that there are many of us writing similar reviews.
I bought my RW Freelancer watch at ashford about 4 months ago. From the moment it arrived I fell in love with. Well packaged, came with warranty card, along with all goodies and stuff as expected.
This is a pricey watch though with over $1000 less in my wallet, but this is definitely worth every penny. So far runs smoothly no issues.

Just bought watch two months ago for over $1400. 00, which I used it may be less than week all together and stopped working, send it back to ashford, spend $50.00 for shipment, and I was told they will try to repair the watch. If I want the watch to be repaired, I would have sent it back to MFG. Customer service would not exchange the lemon watch with new one. I don't know; if ashford does sell refurbish watches under new watch. Is hard to believe brand new watch cost over $1400. 00 works for less than two weeks and need to be repaired. On Jun. 12 2013 I placed the order no.MS-*******, and told the salesman Sean that I was from China and the watch would finally arrive me via a drop shipper. On Jun. 28 2013 I received the watch. But unfortunately the watch has at least below problems, so I have not worn it. 1. No tag; 2.The butterfly looked used when it arrived me; 3.The two pins connected with butterfly had hit imprints; 4.The clasp has flaws Since Ashford.com claims "Every watch from Ashford.com is guaranteed to be: 100% genuine and authentic; Shipped in its original box with original packing and owner's guide, I would like to request for a replacement(100% genuine and authentic; Shipped in its original box with original packing and owner's guide) and a reimburnsment of USD55.00--drop shipper fee from California to China. Ashford agreed with replacement but denied to afford the drop shipper fee. The drop shipper fee caused by replacement is due to defective product, so I insist to request for the reimbursment. 20days passed, ashford.com hasn't responded at all.
I bought watch as a present for my wife. It arrived with some scratches. I send it back for exchange. Today is 5th day as they received the watch back. Nobody call me back and it is no chance to talk with any representative.
I left the true feedback on the ashford.com. Of course I do not see it, only a positive feedback are available.

Be aware of this site, they do not have customer service at all. I got a CK men's watch one month ago, last week when I run into rain for a few minutes, the watch was totally soaked, yes soaked, I could barely see the dial after that. I tried to contact the customer service and they told me I was responsible for repair since water issue is not under warranty. I asked them if it was not water proof then why it was described as 30 meters water resistant, then customer service lady insulted my Master's degree of science by telling me "we test the watch in a dry chamber not in water, we test the pressure. Water resistant means nothing but it has a pressure."
No matter how I interpreted my way telling her water resistant should be at least resisting 3 minutes last raining drops, she insisted that the watch is not water resistant, it's pressure resistant. It was just a waste of time arguing.
I have thrown the watch away and I'll stay away from this site. They do only sell, they do not service, at all.
No wonder, when it's cheap, there's a catch.
Here's what they will not tell you when you buy watch from Ashford: all the watches are "expired or expiring soon". When they get the watches from the manufacturer, these watches are manufactured long time ago, the battery is already or almost dead! That's what I recieved in my order... a dead watch! Even though they can refund me battery change fee, but there's big difference between manufacturer sealed and jewery store clip-back-on. Manufacturer has special equipment to clean it and seal it air-tight! You should not expect it to be water resistant when changing battery in jewery store. That's why most of the manufacturer warranty will be voided when you open the back in jewery store or yourself. (btw, the manufacturer warranty card in the package of your watch is FAKE! Be aware! Ashford has so-called 'ashford warranty' because you cannot use manufacturer warranty!)
Ashford customer servise is extreme bad! Be prepared to be hung up and scolded in your phone conversation! When I ask them "should I expect a manufacturer sealed runner watch when I receive the order", their reply is " NO" and they said they will not post this informaiton in their website so that you can bite the bate!
So in fact the price you are paying to buy from Ashford is to buy an old watch! Ashford is really a refurbished/2nd handed watch seller!

We are a Wholesaler and as such we take first responsibility for the care of our clients and their watches. Be that within the U.S. at our New York repair facility or via reimbursement for local repairs abroad so that the client does not have to wait for prolonged international shipping times.
In rare cases where we are an authorized dealer of the manufacturer, if the situation calls for it, we will be able to provide the manufacturer’s Warranty so that it can be repaired directly. In the case of Armand Nicolet we are an authorized dealer and we did offer to have the card approved and stamped for this direct service because the issue was beyond more general repair methods.
