Just purchased a U-BOAT 6117-1, at the time of purchase their web site description said an ETA 7750 mouvement but what i received is a Peseux p350 mouvement very disappointed, they offered me a refund of the watche but not a refund of the taxes and duty paid in the amount of $355.21 that i will never see back from ups or the goverment!

Be aware they might be selling fake or counterfeit product. There are three major issue on the one I bought from this website. They refused to admit that the glasses has issue. They said the one is as perfect as originally made. Please be cautious, lower price is a trap.

Purchased a new eterna watch arrived damaged they did not offer a refund but told me to have it fixed at local jewellers the repair came to £81 GBP of which they would refund $50 dollars max £40 GBP.
Also watch has no warranty

Purchased a few watches from Ashford. Received the package and forgot it in my garage. During the Pandemic came across the box, opened it and 2 of the watches were not in there. The boxes were there, but the actual watches were missing. Having purchased from them before, I never even bothered checking to see if anything was missing. Lesson Learned. I will be checking my orders as soon as they come from now on. When I contacted them, they were very nice, but provide no help. The literally told me to pound sand but in a more professional way.

I bought a Hamilton knowing the bad reviews. I gave ashford.com a chance coming from a marketing and sales back ground knowing bad reviews are more likely to appear than positive reviews. The watch was listed at a great price I was able to get even a better price with a promo code I bought 1 day shipping to California their was an issue with UPS but I was able to get it bye the 2nd day. Overall watch is working great and looks amazing. Also there are some YouTubers who break down Ashford.com and discribe their experiences, which was a great help making my overall decision. I look forward to add more watchs to my collection via Ashford.com
Ashford.com sold me a defective Rado (about $1000) watch on Feb 27,2018 through Amazon payment (mistakenly feeling Amazon able to guarantee) with Order number SO******* for a Rado watch R******* for my friend, and the Rado watch was really on the friend's hand around May 2018.
The first repair happened on September 2,2018 (request number *******) because of water leaking with internal mist and moist and moving fast. So this issue happened less than half a year.
The second time repair happened on June 17,2019 (request number *******, RA # **************, request # ******* and #*******) for the exact same reason as above.
But In May 3,2020 it was found it's not working and moist/mist was still inside, but the second day it was moving again with mist and moist inside.
It showed that the two repairs didn't help solve the same quality issue.
It is common sense that an expensive watch can't just be working abnormally like this. It was with a quality issue from the beginning!
I called Ashford.com, but they said they can do nothing, and I sent an email with a reply from Ashford that they will do nothing(request #*******)!

I bought a watch from Ashford and it got bad in a few months. They misguided me to send the watch back a few times for repair, but they could not fix it after a few times. They said the watch was shocked, but they never provided me the proof. The watch was never shocked on my side. They refused to refund me. Their products might be gray market stuff or falsified. I will never buy from them again. I absolutely don't recommend them.

I bought a watch from Ashford as a birthday gift to my dad. It stopped working within one year. I contacted the client service and have to pay the shipping fee to send it to their repair team. It was sent back to me after a month and claimed to be fixed. However, it stopped working after one hour. It is a really disappointment experience and my lesson is personally I will never ever buy stuff from that site.
Purchased a 88 Rue du Rhone Double 8 Origin Men's Watch 87WA*******-SD as a "Store Display. Pristine Condition - Never Worn"
Original impression was positive and I reported I was very happy with this purchase. However, the watch has since broken down, and I wore it only occasionally.
I tried to give them a second chance, and added a watch in my cart yesterday. Went to checkout this morning, and price increased by 50%! Chatted with *, a customer service supervisor, and was non-apathetically told they would not honor the price in effect when i put it in the cart within the past 24 hours. Wow, they lost a purchase and a customer. Will not shop with them again.

I bought a gold watch from this company in December and chose to return it. The watch was nice, but I returned it because there was one issue with the strap size. I contacted customer service and arranged to have the watch shipped back in exchange for a different model in mid-December. I was told that within two days of them receiving my watch they would send the new one out of their warehouse. A week later, I called them and was told the watch was being inspected (which they claim is normal for a high value product).
However, after another two weeks without any updates, I called again. They told me that there was "wear and tear" on the watch. They sent over a picture of a watch that looked as if it was over ten years old. I challenged this decision as I only had the watch for two days, so it would be impossible for it to have any defects.
I kept on asking customer service to talk to upper management. Eventually, I ended up talking to one of their managers named *. He said that there was nothing he could do and claimed that I had damaged the watch.
In late January, I reached out to my credit card company, explained the entire situation and received my money back without hassle.
I myself have been a watch collector for over 25 years and I have never experienced anything close to this before.
I have nothing positive to say about my experience with Ashford. It all felt like a fraudulent experience from a company that is poorly managed. This company scams its customers and I definitely will not be doing any business with them ever again.
I urge anyone out there who is thinking about buying a watch from this company to look for a different option. They are nothing but scam artists who offer poor service to their customers. They do not value their customers, their time or provide any updates to their customers.
Never buy a product from Ashford. Especially high valued watches.
