I ordered a small window air conditioner. The Appliance Connection contacted me with a confirmation of my order within 24 hours. Once I verified the order, I was contacted by text & email of my delivery and installation date and time frame. The installers had my air conditioner the day before and called to ask if it could be installed sooner! That was just what I needed to hear on a hot night! Installation was efficient & professional. I would recommend Appliance Connection to friends & family and use them again in the future!
I ordered a new air conditioner from Appliances Connection, it was pretty easy and the sale went through without a hitch. I wanted it delivered as soon as possible so I paid for "expedited shipping", an additional $69. I ordered it on June 22, by the following week I had not heard anything about when it was being delivered. I tried to call the company to check, ran into time changes (3 hours) and couldn't reach anyone. It was eventually delivered on Wednesday, July 5,14 days after being ordered. I don't call this "expedited". When it was delivered it was just left inside the back door without any notice, the box was broken and had several holes in it. As it turned out, the unit was undamaged, but I still resent having to pay for "Expedited Shipping" that took 2 weeks. I won't order from them again. Katy
Then use this company! Seriously- i have had to harrass them for information of where my item is. Its been a month and it still hasnt been shipped. This company is a scam
I ordered an AC in April, it is now almost July. They promised the original unit to be in stock so I ordered it. They then set back the delivery date 2wks. I called and they assured it would be shipped out at that new date. They then sent another update two weeks later with a new date of an additional two weeks. I called to have them switch the AC unit to one that was ACTUALLY IN STOCK. They did, then updated me that it would be two weeks before that one would ship out. After waiting on hold for a manager for two hours, I finally had the AC unit switched to another brand once a third time. When I finally got the AC delivered two weeks later, it had no power cord with it. The person I placed the order with failed to mention I needed to order one. When I called back to alert them of this fact, they refused to apologize or take blame for the issue. I will never order any type of merchandise from this company ever again. I urge all to NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Have not received order and tried contacting customer service and no response. Beware before buying form this company!
Had some dents on left side, fortunately not visible were refrigerator is placed. Unit was dropped off not put in place. Not sure what the process would have been should I have refused delivery due to the dents. I believe it would have been my responsibility to have it shipped back at my expense? Not a good option!
I cannot give a favorable review because the washer is not fully installed and those who came to do the work did not disclose that to me.
Took a while to process but worth the wait. Arrived undamaged, Microwave working well so far. No complaints.
I ordered a dishwasher, hood, fridge, washer, dryer and double wall oven from Appliances Connection. They failed to contact me to let me know the window for delivery, so I called them to check. Was told between 12-6 the following day. I was in all day and they did not turn up. Called at 7pm and was told the driver was still out and they gave me the driver's cell. I called, but no answer. Called the company again at 8pm and was told the driver had been to my house at 12:15 and no one was home. I had been home all day! I was assured they would deliver the following day. I called the next day to find out the time and spoke to a very rude guy named Calvin or Kelvin and he said the driver had taken a picture of my house so he said I was lying about being home. The picture shows my house but does not show the dumpster that was delivered in front of it at 10:30 that morning, so the driver either turned up before 9:30 (when I was also home) or not at all. Either way he was clearly not telling the truth about being there when he said he was. Meanwhile, Calvin said he would charge me an extra $400 to cancel the order and wished me "luck" getting the appliances from somewhere else. He said if I wanted them soon I could go and pick them up myself from a neighboring state. In my opinion AC is not worth the savings - they are disorganized and if anything goes wrong, you get nowhere with them. Very poor service
I ordered an item and took the measurements carefully to ensure it would fit through our doorway. Unfortunately, at the top of the stairs, it's a tight corner and the third party guys let us know they called AppliancesConnection and were told to write: "refused delivery" on the paperwork (under which I wrote "did not fit"). Before signing and letting the delivery guys go, I too called AppliancesConnection and spoke with "Robert" to see if I would be given a full refund due to the "refusal" written on the paperwork. I was verbally assured I would be given back the amount I paid for the item, included the "flight of stairs" fees. He went on to explain I could use a company credit for other furniture. The following day, the credit card company let me know I received a partial refund. When I called to inquire about why, "Robert" again was the representative I spoke to. He remembered speaking with me and asked why I was calling back. This is the first sign of poor customer service... because I had already stated that I had only received a portion of my money back. From there he continued to tell me about the customer service policy (which I called to inquire about the day before). He then back pedaled explaining that "usually" they tell customers about their refund policy...(but never once apologized for not doing so). I then spoke to another supervisor, "Calvin" who was extremely rude, never apologized or showed empathy, but instead told me that "I was no longer their customer." On top of "I'll just redeliver the furniture and charge your card." (Knowing that this is illegal).
Basically, this is THE WORST... hands down... customer service I have EVER received!
At the end of the day I explained to both representatives that as a customer, yes, I am upset about the partial refund, but I'm even more livid at how they handled the situation.
Of course I log on to review their policy... only to find that the word "refuse" (which they told the delivery company to write on the form) is a reason NOT to receive a FULL refund... and THAT was the original reason for my phone call... the day before... smh
Ordered some furniture and because we were in transition from a temporary location to our permanent one, we had a bit of a difficulty in coordinating delivery and billing addresses. Appliance Connection worked at getting it right! Our tables arrived yesterday. The delivery team was more than accommodating! I would definitely use Appliance Connection again!
I finally received my order four weeks after ordering on June 1, incorrect responses to my queries regarding order status and multiple conflicting emails first stating the item would ship to me directly from the manufacturer, then to their warehouse first then to me, then from the manufacturer direct, ect., etc., etc., about 10 in all. And the charge your credit card within 24 hours of your order, regardless of when or if the item ever ships, which is a very poor policy. Stay away from this company!
Asked for shipment to be delayed and they insisted on shipping and I got an email saying "Shipment data received - pending pick up" when I was out of the country so I wrote to cancel within 10 minutes. They only returned $290 on a $499 stove. I contacted them at least 10 times in the last 6 weeks and no one can explain why they violated their own policy of 10% restocking fee. Awful customer service. Avoid at all costs!
Took close to a month to get order. Place order well in advance and be prepare for it to sit in their shipping department for a week.
Appliances connection quickly credited the installation fee after shipper refused to install refrigerator. They were polite and quickly took care of this matter. Very happy with appliances connection service.
Appliances Connection staff very helpful and polite. Problem is with shipper that delivered refrigerator who refused to install the unit. Showed them my invoice that I paid $99.99 for professional installation and they refused to install stating they were not authorized to install refrigerator. They were not helpful at all, left refrigerator sitting in muddle of floor, got into their truck and left. They could care less about customer satisfaction.
I got the best price for my Summit Microwave, and faster delivery than even my local appliance store could offer. I recommend AppliancesConnection to all my friends.
Still waiting on my order. They say I might have it by the end of June. Not happy about that. Was a birthday present, but will be late for that.
Great service, kept me in the loop every step of the way. Have received my range hood and just need to install it. Love it and your service and communication I really appreciated.
Appliances are in perfect shape, but have not been but together yet. The "30 min" call-ahead was about 15 mins, causing me to rush home from work and the truck was in the driveway with the appliances unloaded waiting for me. The truck was too large for the drive way and broke small limbs off the trees.. I could have prevented this had I been home when the truck arrives. Even know the invoice said "white glove" delivery. The guys asked me "you want these unboxed". Like they weren't going to do it unless I asked. I shouldn't have to ask on a $6,400 order. Then, THEY asked ME for a box cutter.. They couldn't find there's at first. The actually moving of the appliances in the house went fine. Of course, when the truck pulled away, the scraped the truck and pulled down small branches because the pulled the truck in the driveway to far. The appliances where all placed in one spot as I requested, not far from the front door, as the kitchen remodeling is about to begin. I was hoping with "white-glove delivery" they would but things together some, but I guess that's left to me.
Answer: The estimated delivery date is fairly accurate when applied to items that are already in stock at our warehouse (please note, this does not apply to items that are listed as Available). Please note, at the end of the day, it is still an estimate it can be subjected to changes, and not a definite timeframe.
Answer: STAY AWAY! We just ordered a $3,000 range from Appliance Connection. The range came damaged. The instructions say to start by removing the door. When the installer did this, the spring in the door bracket popped. First off, when you call you cannot talk to a person to report a defect. You have to use their ticket system. After a month of back and forth with their stupid ticket system, and the agent(s) contradicting themselves, they told us that it is obviously an installation problem, and they weren't going to help. Is this how you treat someone who just spent $3,000 at your store.
Answer: We ship over 1.6 million orders per year. Of those shipments, you have viewed an iota of complaints against our company. Likewise, the positive reviews also outweigh the negative reviews. It seems that you have signed for the delivery without inspecting the delivery, as we have advised you to inspect it prior to accepting delivery. With our agreements with the manufacturers, if there are any issues with the appliances, they would first be subjected to an assessment by a manufacturer certified technician. If the unit is truly, in fact, defective, they will replace the unit. If you are shipping the product back to us, we will provide a refund once confirmation is available that it is en route back to us.
Hello,
We charge a 10% restocking fee, not a 50% restocking fee. We also charge for return shipping. We have a detailed list of why you may have been charged on our website under our Return Policy (https://www.appliancesconnection.com/returnpolicy.html). We apologize for this confusion and we urge you to check out the page to see if you match one of the circumstances in the list. We cannot search your order number to give you a clear reason for your charges as you haven't left one or a name, but if you'd like us to look that up please feel free to send us that information so we can clarify it for you. We definitely don't want you to feel cheated out of your refund and we'd happily break that down for you.
Thank you,
Appliances Connection
