Not worth it

I would not order from here, ever. I ordered AND paid for a sofa and loveseat from them and after THREE MONTHS I still have not recieved it. They also can't give me any kind of accurate ETA as they just change it every couple weeks. They can't fulfill their basic responsibility as a seller by being the middleman between the supplier and customer.

Lies on top of lies

I ordered 2 unrelated major appliances. Web site says both are available and ready to ship.
A week after ordering I am told they're waiting for one item to arrive from the manufacturer. I ask to have the items shipped separately. Oh no they say, they'll both go in a couple of days.
Two weeks later and two promised shipping dates later still nothing. A month in they still refuse to ship the item they claim to have in stock and ready to ship.
They lean on the covid story to cover their fraud and lies. If you have real delays you're honest about them not making false claims about items soon to ship. Covid doesn't cause your web site to say you have an item in stock and ready to ship when, in fact, you do not. Covid doesn't not create fraud and lies but people do.

Not sure where to start. Purchased over Labor Day weekend. Showed product was instock when I ordered and everyone commented about quick turn around. Sold my current working washer and dryer... here is one of MANY forms of communication with the company. As of July 1, I still did not have a washer and dryer.

I filed a complaint to the BBB and low and behold, I finally heard back from your company. I believe that I have submitted the rebate form correctly and am awaiting the rebate. This is the message from the company regarding my complaint. I would like the price difference while waiting delivery and communication put back on the Visa that the appliances were charged to a month ago.

MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:

We never saw you call about this issue. We can go ahead and process your request in regards to the price difference. We can try and help with rebate. The rebate that is available right now must be POSTMARKED OR PROCESSED ONLINE BY JULY 3RD. If you need assistance with the rebate please do call us at *******470 x 2934.

Guess what - I have NEVER received the price difference and had to turn in the rebate 5 times because they said my serial number did not match, despite having taken a picture.

NEVER EVER EVER use this company!

If you have no deadline for getting appliances, and no expectation of communication, this this is the place for you. I ended up cancelling our order. They didn't have the product in stock(oh but they took my money for it first) and than I upgraded to a different appliance(washer dryer combo commercial grade) and ends up it is on back order. Did they email or call me to let me know about the back order?... NOPE! And * was useless... twice... just transferred when I tried to speak to him about my concerns. I would NOT recommend.

Great prices, that's about it! We ordered three commercial pieces, triple fridge, double freezer and convection oven. All we're supposed to be delivered in about 4-6 weeks. This was not an issue as we are building our new facility; would have been perfect. Until two days later we receive a call that our oven will be delivered tomorrow! No notice at all! Following week we get an email saying our fridge will be shipped in two weeks; for a call two days later telling us it is ready to be brought to our door! Told the shipper it couldn't be delivered, we have no where for it to be delivered. Then I get a call from Appliance Connection, they need our help because the freight company is going to charge them to store it! Can we help them and get storage that they'll pay for, and they'll deliver it to us when we open. Now we are ready to have it moved and there is no return phone call, no email response, no Chat response. Ghosted! And now we're out another $1,000 to pay for storage and a moving company to complete their incompetent shipping fulfillment! Not worth the savings!

Another scammer
August 4, 2020

Another New York scammer. Find an item that said 10 in-stock on hard to find freezer. Billed my credit card immediately and then nothing. Only after contacting did they tell me the item should arrive on August 30(a month later). Then they try and say it has to do with COVID, What a bunch of garbage. If the item is in stock, you print a tag and call the trucking company to pick the item up.

The worst experience
August 3, 2020

A company of crooks and l liars. For a month they were telling me stories like – "the item was marked as damaged", "the item was labeled wrong", "the driver didn't have enough driving time". Pay $50 more and buy from any other company.

July 7th, ordered a wine fridge that said it was in stock and would ship in 3-5 days.
On 7/7 we got the following message "Wine Fridge is on its way" with a request to fill out delivery information.
On 7/14 after crickets we reached out and submitted a ticket and got the following response 7/15 "
Your estimated ship date is 07/22/2020. Please be advised ETA subject to change due to Covid19. We will let you know if there are any change
If you no longer wish to proceed with your order, please respond to this ticket to cancel. As long as the order has not shipped we will cancel and refund your order in full."
So on 7/21 we got another email stating all the delivery steps we needed to follow when we receive delivery.
On 7/24 I went online and started a chat and they replied someone would be with me shortly and after 30 minutes of crickets I put in another ticket.
On 7/27 I got a reply "The product(s) you have ordered are estimated to ship out on 08/07/2020. We will keep you posted on any status changes and updates regarding the estimated ship date. ** Please note, ETA is subject to change.
If you no longer wish to proceed with your order, please respond to this ticket to cancel. As long as the order has not shipped we will cancel and refund your order in full."
On 7/29 I replied to that ticket to please cancel my order after 3 delays and 3 weeks later.
7/30 11:58 AM EST after no response I called and waited for a person as I wanted to verify cancellation.
The person began by informing me of all their processes and it would be up to 72 more hours before I would know if my order would be canceled. I got lectured instead of solving my issue, and they then asked if there was anything else they could do for me.
Well since they had not done anything I was puzzled as to what options there were?
Of course nothing and I just did not understand their business!
If this is good customer service I must have very high expectations.
I wonder if this will get read at there next teammate meeting.

First of all I read some positive reviews here and they are fakes.
Bought LG dishwasher with 10 years warranty at the end of 2014. The warranty was only stated on receipt so I thought it was in house warranty. Nothing else was supplied to me. Come to find out that warranty is external company warranty ASA and since I did not register it since the warranty card was not supplied to me to register the warranty is worthless as a paper it was written on. Now I am being denied warranty because of that. Ho help from the customer service.

After ordering a refrigerator on July 4th, and told it would ship on Monday, a week went by with no shipping confirmation. We called and emailed as we got the run around between them and the shipping company. After which we were told that model was now out of stock. We worked with a sales associate who was very helpful, but we did spend an additional 1k$ to order a model that was in stock, with another promise of shipping in 24 hours. That didn't happen for another 13 days. As of now the unit we ordered is supposedly in the Cleveland warehouse. When were just disconnected as we were complaining to a manager. We are out of 3800$, no refrigerator and no answers... DON'T DO IT! USE A LOCAL SUPPLIER!

The prices are reasonable, but delivery and installation is handled by a third party, and Appliances Connection takes ZERO responsibility for that process. Our delivery came late, and the delivery people were not trained to install a dishwasher. They dropped it off and drove away. A manager at Appliances Connection promised a different company would be sent to install in a timely manner. Days later, an installation guy showed up in the evening, and we let him in the house during COVID assuming this would finally be the end of the saga. Sadly, this was only the beginning, as he was "not trained to install a dishwasher." THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE?! The manager at Appliance Connection said they "can't be held responsible" for the third party they contract with, and that our options were a full refund or a refund for installation. When I asked why he would sell us a package that included installation and then not take responsibility, he basically shrugged. He said he could ask the third party to send someone on Monday, but he could not guarantee they would show up or be trained to do their job (?!?!). I asked if he could show some interest in our case and personally follow up with me on Monday to make sure everything went smoothly, and he said no, but he would ask another rep to call. She didn't call, the installation guys never showed up, and here we are still hand-washing dishes, staring at a dishwasher in a box in our garage. The next manager I spoke with read from the same script, and immediately offered a refund, which leaves us starting from square one. One of the worst experiences I can imagine. Go anywhere else.

I feel lied too!

When I first initially went through them through a third-party it was advised that the item was in stock. Now they're blaming the Covid thing 90 days later and I have not received my couch. Where is other people are having no problems with the Covid they're having several problems with Covid and keep blaming Covid as a scapegoat! I am very unhappy with this company and do not advise that you ordered with them! Now if I cancel the order I would be further inconvenience and I have to wait even longer to get a new couch! I'm so in happy and I wish I had known better!

I called on June 17. I was told they could deliver to my door within 5-7 business days even with what was going on in the world. I had a box store I could get it for cheaper and delivery July 1, but I paid more to get it delivered sooner. It is now July 19. I am told the soonest it can be delivered is August 13. The company won't call me when I send them emails asking me to call. It is over an hour wait time on the phone, and then they just tell me there is nothing they can do. The shipping company, Fragilepak that they use, it is a 2 hour hold to get somebody, they tell me they will deliver it sooner, and then they send me a link to schedule delivery for August 13. They have a 1 star rating. I am shocked at their straight up lies, lack of customer service, and in the meantime, for months I have no washing machine since I already paid for it.

If you buy something in this store and it is broken, damaged or no longer needed, beware the shipping cost to return is ON YOU! Also, the shipping must be insured and traceable. I hope to never have to buy anything in this store again.

Ordered A/C because said had great reviews, it was available and shipped soon. No reviews on site they listed, A/C wasn't available, no communication on status, said 3 weeks to get. After 3 weeks, no response to inquiry online. Online written request, no response for 2 days. Called and 45 minute hold to be told superviser could release 1, but 2-3 weeks to get. Don't trust them now and end of July before might get. Asked to cancel and get immediate refund to Paypal so I could by another. Said 3-5 business days, so another week...
All would have been good if better communication and honestly.

They are liars
July 9, 2020

Recently purchased an item on their website that was listed as in stock with a 2 week delivery date. 10 days later received an email saying it would take 8+ weeks instead. They blamed it on COVID. I called to figure out how COVID would make shipping take 10 weeks instead of 2 weeks, when Amazon, UPS, FedEx, and the Post Office are all back to normal. Per the rep's explanation: "When our website says it's in stock, it doesn't mean it's necessarily in stock for your order. It means we have some in the warehouse, but they may already be purchased by someone else." Basically, their website is designed to lie to consumers in order to get their business and then hope the consumer will put up with their bait and switch. Unless you're willing to wait months for your product, I would not recommend using this business. Their website also implies they are Better Business Bureau members, while BBB says that they are not an accredited business.

Received washer that was not in box. It was warpped in packing tape. It appears the unit was returned with no box. Residue of tape will not come off and the unit was scratched. Trying for one week to get a response. Paid for dryer installation which was not done because the driver didnt have time. Also did not install pedestals again because he didnt have time. Driver stated that the pedestals were not necessary. Sorry I used this service. They were willing to take the units back if I paid for the return. Go directly to manufacture if necessary but dont use Applicance Connection.

We bought an outdoor commercial kegerator for our new outdoor kitchen, and it has not been able to cool under 45 degrees (our cheap $400 indoor cools to 30 degrees but our $1600 commercial fridge has not been able to chill) We have called summit, they reply that it's within the acceptable temperature range (apparently they dont like COLD beer)... It's been 1 year that we have been shuffled back and forth from Summit to the actual Seller: Appliance Connection. Now that its been a year, the seller says it is Summit's warranty that kicks in, even though this has been going on since day 1. Both of these companies rely on the shuffling blame back and forth with neither doing anything. We asked Appliance Connection to replace unit since day 1. They sent out a repairman once that fixed a thermostat and tubing, and absolutely agreed that it should be cooler. Appliance Connection asked that we get a certified review by a Specialist to say it was not cooling properly. We called several people/plumbers/repairman, but they have no idea what the company wants from them, and they want $200 to come out and give us a written opinion, which they were unwilling to pay for. DO NOT BUY A KEGERATOR FROM EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES!

Scam Business. Stay Away

After waiting for more than 62 days, and contacting them several times without any update on my patio furniture order.
I then called the patio furniture manufacturer directly, they told me they HAVE NO ORDER under my name or under the order details at all!
Then I decided to cancel my transaction. I requested the cancelation through their website, but they did not respond. I panicked and called my CC company immediately, and after a couple of days they responded that they canceled my transaction.

This is not a respectable business, nor professional. I honestly think they are a scam business. Do NOT listen to their COVID-19 excuses. Stay away,

I have placed an order on May 4th for patio furniture set. Before placing the order, the website was showing an estimated shipping date between 5/7 and 5/12. Today is the 21st and whenever I ask them about an update, they tell me they are waiting on a tracking number from the manufacturer without any further details. Their website says waiting for pickup truck for almost a week.

After reading the reviews here, I am getting very nervous. I hope it is not some shady website. Most of the positive reviews seem very robotic. I can totally relate to the negative experience here so far.

If they do not send it by tomorrow I will ask for a refund.

Will update this review with more details as the experience goes on.
