Terrible customer service! Buy elsewhere! They gave me 3 days as ETA. It has been 2 weeks and I still didn't get my product. Bad!
Problem 1: Ordered dishwasher from this company and determined I had ordered the wrong item. I immediately called and cancelled that invoice. I was told I had to pay a restocking fee even though I had never been contacted regarding this dishwasher, it had not been delivered nor received. A few days later, I received not one but two connection kits—if they were a responsible customer service group, there would not have been two kits for one dishwasher sent ( I do acknowledge I typed the wrong number but no one verified order).
And since I cancelled invoice, I should never have received the kits!
Problem 2: ordered the correct dishwasher and inventory showed two in stock. I received an email letting me know I would receive the dishwasher near the end of June. Since two showed to be in stock, why would it take so long?
Problem 3: After speaking with their customer service reps on two separate occasions, I gave them the phone number to contact me for delivery notification.The old number was to a landline we no longer had. No customer service reps never even bothered to change it
Biggest Problem 4: Imagine getting a new dishwasher "installed " and it doesn't work! For the dishwasher to work, the garbage disposal needed to be running. I had to hire an electrician to come out and fix this installation! This is what he found:
— Exposed live wires
— Kinked my copper line that is now not usable
— Installers told me they don't know electricity.
Yes, I am angry! Now I have to hire a plumber to correct this problem not to mention the $159 I paid to have it installed!

I knew I should not order again... my last experience was over 6 months to resolve a dresser that was delivered with 1 drawer a different color. I was desperate as the Bosch 500 series dishwasher was delayed at local Home Depot so I fell for Appliance Connection lies. They said in stock ships in 5 to 7 days. I ordered May 11th, it wasn't picked up for 6 days. Per the Appliance Connection cust srvc rep the trucking company only picks up once per week and then they don't leave until truck is totally full! He then explained since going from New Jersey to Washington it could be a month or month and a half before delivery as they are stopping to deliver a lot of things and breaks and sleep. So why would they not say 8 weeks from order? I ordered on May 11, now being told it could be end of June! I tried to cancel but would charge me $500. Unethical that my option to cancel disappeared before truck left New Jersey. I wish I had ordered from A J Madison, they confirmed I would recieve by June 17th if ordered today. Do not order from Appliance Connection if you are nowhere near New Jersey. Keep in mind it could be a week before even picked up and then however long it takes for truck to be full which then means more stops along the way. At least cs rep was honest... could be a month or more, certainly not what eluded to online.

This review is based on the terrible experience we had with customer service and delivery company. Full disclosure: we purchased a 36 inch fridge that ended up not fitting our space. We own up to our mistake and we did not expect to receive a full refund. We were prepared to pay any necessary restock and return/exchange fees, we would've been happy to exchange for a 32 inch model, even if it was $1100 less than the model we received. It was the company's delivery service and customer support that was embarrassingly bad and has to be known publicly. To provide a short recap, this company delivered a Samsung fridge 2 months late (despite listing the model as "available" and we paid $70 extra for "express" delivery). It arrived on our doorstep, with a large dent - damaged in transit. They began installing without us having the opportunity to test the doors and see if it fits in our space. After installation was complete, they prompted to sign off the delivery waiver. However, we pointed out that the right door was not opening due to the lack of space, they claimed they could not take it back but a return/exchange would still be possible after reporting to customer service. They took away the product box and left us with a fridge that was dented and could not function in our space. We reacted swiftly and called customer service to open a support ticket. After explaining all details and multiple calls to try and find a resolution, they kept referring us to wait and receive a web-based response from their "Head of customer service". 7 painful days later, we finally received a response from a different associate rep who denied our request and stated it did not meet the return requirements because of the damage (by their movers), a missing product box (drivers kept in the truck and never landed on our doorstep) and the fact it was already installed (again, by their company who provided the waiver AFTER installing). We never had our voices heard, nor the chance to talk to someone of authority to help us resolve the issue... Moral of the story -- don't be fooled by the discounts. It's not worth it.

We ordered one model # microwave, the company sent us another and didn't tell us. Basically same microwave, still it's not the point. Then we had to order a trim kit and I called to make sure we were ordering the correct one. When the trim kit arrived, it didn't fit like it should have around the microwave. Very poor design by Frigidaire. My contractor threw the box away to the microwave, so we can't return it. However, we have the box to the trim kit, but are unable to return it. Would never buy appliances from a company again that ships them. I will go to a local store from now on. We are out right at $700! Very disappointed.

The Appliances Connection is an excellent store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I was driving by and decided to stop in and see if they had a dryer for a reasonable price. I made a purchase on March 3rd for a dining table. After changing the date continuously for 3 months, I called today for a status and they said it would not ship if I didn't pay 300 dollars after my receipt says free shipping. This is not legal. They are stealing from the consumer snd I advise anyone to stay away. The customer service rep was of no help, and when I asked for someone of higher authority they were equally useless. Stay away!

Distributor does not back their product. Dishwasher took 90 days to delivered, original estimate given was 14 days. Received defective dishwasher that was not discovered defective until 60 days after purchase and installation. Appliances Connection refused to take ownership and help their customer resolve issue. LG is claiming it is delivery issue. 90 days shipping delay followed by defective $1000 unit that no one wants to take ownership and help the customer. Poor performance for both companies

In January I ordered a refrigerator from Appliance Connection. When I ordered it, their website showed the fridge as being in stock. In actuality, the company never had the fridge in stock and never planned to have it in stock. I have been given 4 separate delivery dates from the company and have wasted countless hours trying to get this delivered. Their most recent correspondence now shows delivery in early July, more than 6 months from the time it was ordered. In speaking with a company representative, I was told that the fridge gets delivered directly from the manufacturer and they never have them in stock. I would recommend that you order from a different company and never use this company. For the record, I have never written a review of a company. However, given the multiple misrepresentations made by them, I needed to warn other consumers.

I originally ordered a generator from Appliances Connection. Several days after my order I was informed that the product was out of stock and no longer available. Appliances Connection then canceled my order. I went to another retailer and purchased the generator soon after they canceled my original order. A few days later I received shipping confirmation for my new order. When I met the truck driver to pick up my generator it was pouring down rain. The shipment contained 2 crates with all boxes in good condition. I took them home and stored them. When next going online to pay my CC bill I noticed the charge for my new generator and also a charge from Appliances Connection. It turns out they received in more generators, charged my CC, and shipped it yo me without my consent. I later learned that 1 of the 2 crates was from them, but the bill of lading does not show whom either of the crates were from. Now they will not refund my money. I have tried working with them but they have been extremely difficult. There latest offer requires me to ship it back to them at my expense or pay them to come and get it. How us this legal?

I called to place an order, which went fairly smoothly. Ordered an ILVE range and told that it would be ordered. A few days later, they ran my CC, which was flagged as possible fraudulent due to the large amount. I quickly called my CC company and it was cleared within an hour of my being notified.
I responded to the ticket they opened to let me know they were unable to charge my card and they said Appliances Connection would run it again. It took a couple of weeks, but they did re-run it successfully. I received an email stating it went through and my range was ordered. I checked my CC statement and it had gone through.
Then about 4 hours later, I receive another email stating that they cancelled my order. When I called in to find out why, a very rude representative told me that he wasn't sure, but tried to explain something about insurance issues - which he didn't even understand what he was saying. I could literally hear his entire conversation with someone else in the background and they were trying to come up with some story to tell me. I decided it was useless to talk to him. The next day, I call ILVE customer service (and I think it might be one and the same, but even if not, they're about as helpful). I was told they cancelled it because the charge was flagged and didn't go through. I told her that it did go through and that their own employee had noted it as the hold going through successfully. She said they would need to contact the Billing Manager and get back to me. I waited until late the following day, called back to check on the progress. She snapped at me stating I needed to "give them time to work through it."
Ok, so I did. And then 2 weeks later, I tried again. Still no answer. I emailed the ticketing system and have yet to receive any answers as to why this order will not go through. It's now 5 weeks later and I've never received a response. I don't understand how a company with great reviews can just completely ignore an issue that was ENTIRELY ON THEIR SIDE. Apparently they're doing so well, they don't need customers buying $5k ranges. That's fine, I found much better company to work through and extremely happy with their service

I ordered an oven, waited for 6 months, have got it damaged during the delivery. They refused to accept the return, so, no money, no oven, nothing. Managers are liars, told me they will solve this issue, I waited patiently for another month, and still nothing.

Purchased a $12,000 Jenn Air range from them and it was beyond a horrible experience and continues to be one. They delivered the unit the next day with a promise to price match. They delivered the unit, but did not install it. They came back the next day to install it, but they literally just moved it into place and ran. They didn't even plug it in or unwrap it. They went to their truck as if they were getting something and just left. In the process, damaged my exotic wood flooring. Needless to say, they never honored the price match and the floor manager Vico was beyond oppositional defiant. When asked to speak to his supervisor, he said he reports to the CEO and to google him. NOT letting this one go...

Ordered a Bosch Dishwasher on February 22,2022. Was told by this company that it will ship in 4-6 weeks. It has been 11 weeks already, and the product hasn't been shipped. However, if I was to re-order the same item, the website continues to state that it will ship in 3-4 weeks. During theses 11 weeks, multiple e-mails were sent and made phone calls were made. E-mails stated that the item will ship on April 11, then May 1st. Over the phone I was getting responses that I should get the product pretty soon. Finally, I was able to get a sale representative (probably the only honest person working there) who told me that there are 471 orders pending for this particular item, and the person who ordered it 2 years ago hasn't received yet... When I asked this person why their website continues to advertise that this particular model will ship in few weeks, I received a suggestion to try to guess myself... So I did. 471 orders for the product that cost $1299, not including taxes. The customers are charged on the day of order, so that totals up to $611,829 charges just for one product which will take years to arrive, if ever will. In a meanwhile, customers are fed with lies and false shipping dates which this company knows are not not realistic. Moreover, Appliance Connections continue to advertise the product as available in order to get more orders that are unable to fulfill. I know nowadays there is a shortage of appliances and they might take months to arrive, but, please, don't continue lying to your customers that they will receive the product in week weeks if you know it's not gonna happen. If this is not a scam, I don't know what is then.

They can't and don't stand behind the products they sell. Very difficult to work with, and it's not at all clear to me how they could possibly have such a high rating! Twice I've needed help with the dishwasher I bought through them, and twice they've been of no support or assistance at all. Even if you have to pay more, buy that appliance from a local connection!

Placing order was no issue at all. Nathan B. Was very helpful and polite. I was understanding that LG stove I wanted to order was on manufacturer backorder. I was willing and prepared to wait. I was actually pleased and delighted with expected arrival time, but again was prepared to wait. I received contact on 4/21/22 that my delivery was scheduled for 4/23/22 between 7:30-11:30am. Received voicemail, text message, and email. I was sent details down to shipper name and driver name. I would get a call with a 1 hour notice. I cancelled plans and rearranged day. 4/23/22, no delivery and no contact delivery was not coming. Unable to reach shipper, called Appliances Connection and they could only tell me order was never picked up by shipper. Asked for a call on 4/25/22 to update me what was going on and did not receive. I called shipper and told to call Appliances Connection. Again, they would return call. Nothing. Customer Service can only tell me to put my concerns in ticket. Now, I have more time involved with no help. Again, I was prepared to wait in beginning. Now, I am anger because contact was made to me with delivery information. I never called and pushed for 4/23/22 delivery date.

I live in Portland, Oregon. I bought a Miele dishwasher online at www.appliancesconnection.com back in November, they included installation for additional $49.99. Their initial ETA was in late November, but they missed the ETA several times, I ended up waiting until 1/21 that's when they shipped the dishwasher. The trucking company Appliance Connection contracted supposed to come out on 02/17 to deliver and install the dishwasher, but when they arrived, they told me that they only deliver, they don't do installation at all. The truck driver called their manager and confirmed what he said on front of me, the truck driver said Appliance Connection always do this to their customers, they know the dishwasher won't be installed but they still sell the dishwasher with installation service intentionally. They asked me to call Appliance Connection have them send someone else out to do the install. The trucking company left the dishwasher in my garage. I called Appliance Connection but each time they would refer me to their "ticket system", each ticket reply takes exactly 3 weeks. At one point their agent admitted that they don't have contract with any installation company in my area, so they can't install my dishwasher, and said they will escalate to their management. On March 13th I had enough of their bull$#*! so I told them I don't want the dishwasher anymore, they need to pick it up and give me full refund, but Now is April 15, they are still kicking the ball around and won't take the responsibility. I'm passing this case to my attorney. Future buyers be aware of this shady company.

Answer: The estimated delivery date is fairly accurate when applied to items that are already in stock at our warehouse (please note, this does not apply to items that are listed as Available). Please note, at the end of the day, it is still an estimate it can be subjected to changes, and not a definite timeframe.
Answer: STAY AWAY! We just ordered a $3,000 range from Appliance Connection. The range came damaged. The instructions say to start by removing the door. When the installer did this, the spring in the door bracket popped. First off, when you call you cannot talk to a person to report a defect. You have to use their ticket system. After a month of back and forth with their stupid ticket system, and the agent(s) contradicting themselves, they told us that it is obviously an installation problem, and they weren't going to help. Is this how you treat someone who just spent $3,000 at your store.
Answer: We ship over 1.6 million orders per year. Of those shipments, you have viewed an iota of complaints against our company. Likewise, the positive reviews also outweigh the negative reviews. It seems that you have signed for the delivery without inspecting the delivery, as we have advised you to inspect it prior to accepting delivery. With our agreements with the manufacturers, if there are any issues with the appliances, they would first be subjected to an assessment by a manufacturer certified technician. If the unit is truly, in fact, defective, they will replace the unit. If you are shipping the product back to us, we will provide a refund once confirmation is available that it is en route back to us.
