I tried to buy a dryer today with a rep in Brooklyn called Seraglio I think? He was very helpful and said he would try get me a machine shipped tomorrow whereas when I spoke to other companies it was not possible. On that basis I decided to buy an expensive Maytag from him… I sensed irritation from the rep only once I paid.As soon as he got my credit card details he lost interest and refused to resend an email confirming my purpose. He said, and I quote: I don't have time for this and slammed the phone on me?! I called back and another agent admitted my email was entered wrong and he resent it. By this time I was sorely regretting giving this company my business especially when I saw on my email receipt I was double charged for the warrantee. Not only that, but when I called to question this the honest lady agent said it was unlikely I would get the machine before ten days let alone tomorrow! I actually only bought the machine because of the fast delivery promised! Otherwise I would not have put up with the first agent's complete rudeness- and attitude. The lady I spoke to asked what I prefer to do since they can't ship according to their promise and I said - just cancel it … They lost me as a customer for good. Would never call again in a million years after the guy lost interest in me as soon as he got my credit card details. I promptly called a small company in Hoboken and gave them the business. At least they were friendly, honest and not just after my money. Run from this place. As consumers we need to show that non existent customer service is not ok.
I ordered an Ashley table and chairs in April of this year from Appliances Connection. At the time the items stated "in stock" and that I would receive them in May. With supply chain issues I understood (without explanation) from the company when my order wasn't received until last week. Upon receiving, I only got 2 chairs and a VERY damaged table. I reached out to the company who said they would contact their shipper on the chairs and let me know. On the table? Well they can give me a 10%, then 20% then 50% discount if I'll keep it. When that was refused, I was told ok, you can send it back at YOUR expense $200. I'm sorry, but I paid them up front for a NEW, undamaged table and 6 chairs. What did I get, a migraine, damaged table and 2 chairs. Oh and when you call the company and ask for a manager? You have an open ticket, respond to that. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. If I could give -10 stars I would and I will go to every other social media platform and give this same review. How they have a 4.7 is beyond me. (or do they and all honest reviews disappear.)

The first time I purchased a chest freezer from them, the experience was great. My freezer arrived damaged but Appliances Connection refunded money to make up for it. It was a garage freezer so looks weren't important.
My second order from them for an upright freezer was a disaster. Two weeks after I ordered I called Customer Support and was told they couldn't honor the price I submitted my order for. What? Two weeks after the order the sales price is still being displayed, why can't you honor it? The CS rep transferred me to sales to see if they could honor the price somehow. I was transferred three times before someone could help me. The sales rep/manager told me they couldn't ship the item to me because shipping costs were too high for my area. I asked why I was able to order the first freezer and he told me, in a rude way, that they did me a favor but they weren't going to do it again. Excuse me? I can see not selling me something if it's not profitable, but don't treat me like my business is a burden to you. On top of that, if you're not going to sell me the freezer, why didn't SOMEONE reach out to me to explain what was going on? I could have gotten the same sales price from 4 other big box stores, but now I missed it because of your poor customer service.
I've steered multiple family members to make purchases with Appliances Connection but will no longer do that after this experience. You can't treat customers like this.

Terrrible people the dishwasher was broken by A AND M INSTALLERS have proof we hired or own service people and they showed where applicance connection disconnected the hose backwards and broke the water inlet valve and never came back to repair we had to repair with our own funds stay away from this company they should not be in business here its a week later and not response we hired our own people and they show the proof that the A AND M DID to my dishwasher liars and very incompetent

Called in to verify inventory, went online to place order. Called back to confirm my order and was told i should receive in 3-5 days. 7 days later I called to get tracking and update and was told appliance is no longer available. On day 10, I received a message and tracking number for unknown item. Again, I call to find out whats going on and nothing but rudeness and demeaning attitude from Monika. This item was a gift for 90 year old grandmother and was a complete let down and continuous lies. Now have to call my cc company to do a chargeback.

I placed an order for a refrigerator and a dishwasher 2 months ago and still haven't received anything. I spent over $6k on appliances on this order. My delivery appointment was supposedly over 3 weeks ago according to the email I received and when I call the trucking company I get the runaround and they tell me their trucks are broken down and they will call me back (for 3-4 weeks now). I call week after week and still get nowhere, no delivery, and no appointment scheduled. I tried to call customer support at appliancesconnection.com today and what a joke! The worst customer support I have ever experienced! Flat out rude to me! The rep refused to call the trucking company and help me schedule a delivery. Instead, I am told he is too busy dealing with other customers to help me or to make a call. He told me he would send an email to the trucking company and to wait a couple of days for a response. WHAT A JOKE! What a terrible customer support person! Really bad. I think I will be disputing my Amex charges if I don't get a delivery by end of this week.
I also had a previous order from this company for a range top stove months prior and also had a terrible experience. The delivery was supposed to include and install the equipment, but when they showed up, the 2 slovenly gentlemen told me they don't know how to install the range top. Then they slammed this giant heavy box down on my kitchen counter and started tearing up my cabinets and being way too rough on things in the house I had to ask them to leave. This item still hasn't been installed.
This company is a joke; they don't care about you after taking your money. Their customer support doesn't care to be helpful and is rude to customers. I wish I bought these things somewhere else. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

I purchased a replacement for a built in microware they had low inventory for its ok, expensive front face plate, and why i went with them, installation. The faceplate is in inventory at build.com / Fergusons, and assume they would get it there.
Bottom line, delivery of microwave and install on track, they shipped it. Charged my card - but GE does not and may never have the faceplace. So I guess I can store a microwave my home as the warranty expires and wait for the install when the faceplate arrive, which I expect won't happen ever.
This company should disclose the position they put homeowners in, selling a product you cannot deliver is unethical, possibly illegal. I cancelled the order, will dispute the charge if necessary..

We Ordered a refrigerator in February it was promised delivery in June. It didn't get delivered until August. Then it was the wrong refrigerator. When I tried to return it they want to charge me over $200.
I have bought many appliances from them and had no problem but this particular order has been a nightmare.
I have spoken on the phone with two representatives who are unable or unwilling to correct the issue.
Today, I still have a refrigerator I did not order. They refuse to come pick up their mistake, nor refund me for the Wrong item and warranty.

Waited over a month for delivery of washer and dryer units which I expected. Item was boxed ans couldn't tell it was damaged until we plugged it in. Emailed service but this is their solution. So 2 weeks to sort of address the issue. 3 weeks to send a part that might fix the unit. At least 1 to 2 weeks for a tech to come try to fix it then 4 to 8 weeks for a new unit if it can't be fixed. And no compensation... I'm really not happy about this. I know I'm not in NY but they said there would be no issue getting us the units. Paid 650 for the dryer and even if it can be repaired it'll be a refurbished unit with no compensation to me. Plus I'll still have to wait months to use my dryer.

New dishwasher arrived with dent in the front door and no response! Nothing is happening. They do not answer the phone. They may call you back with a person that does not understand English and has no solution. STAY AWAY!

It would take hours to detail all I've been through - so I'll make it as short and sweet as possible. An order that was supposed to take 3 months - took over a year to complete. I ordered a refrigerator and a freezer pair back in June of 2021. In January of 2022, I finally received (what was supposed to be) the freezer and in February I received a refrigerator. SURPRISE! - after the second delivery I realized they had sent me 2 refrigerators and no freezer. It took dozens of calls, emails and pictures before they would correct the mistake. The additional refrigerator was picked up and - finally - the freezer was delivered in April. Unfortunately, the refrigerator and freezer could not be installed without the trim kit - which was on back order. A trim kit finally arrived in June, but had been essentially destroyed in shipping. Another dozen or so emails, calls and pictures and the damaged trim kit was finally picked up. A replacement trim kit was received in the middle of August. The refrigerator and freezer were finally installed in early September - only to find that the refrigerator has a major water leak! Appliances Connection offered no help and told me to contact the manufacturer. This has been a total nightmare. I wouldn't even recommend Appliances Connection to my worst enemy.

They treated me like an idiot. I paid for a washer machine and a pedestal. I also paid for the instalation of both. The pedestal was damaged and I had to refuse it. They said I had to paid for the installation again. I talked to the manager, I said I had already paid for installation and I would call my lawyer so he said he would send someone to install it. It's been more than 2 months and I already called them a thousand times, they never sent anyne. I will have to solve it in the court, with my lawyer.

Where to start. Order a 'set' of three kitchen appliances. Dishwasher stove and over stove microwave. The estimated delivery kept being pushed back and ultimately was at 9pm with only 2 of the three pieces which didn't match. Asked for a refund on the microwave that didn't show up and a week later they are "working" on it. Bought the matching microwave locally for $100 less and was able to pick up the same day. Definitely cannot recommend.

At first glance, this company appears to be legit. They even provide decent customer service by answering your inquiries. After you get through there politeness, you realize they don't really say or do anything - even at the management level, they are just there to take your money with no process in place. They take it and then sub-out to 3rd party vendors who cannot be reached and do not align with your agreement with Appliance Connection. They then blame the 3rd party and literally do nothing about it (except send an email). I ordered BoschHEI8056U for $2,399 with installation and removal. The problem started when they told me the company delivering (FragilePak) does not do installation or removal. They just drop the oven at my door. The issues escalated after there was no show/no call on delivery date (1st), then kept escalating because no one can reach the delivery company. 2nd delivery date, again no show/no call. After hours on hold and multiple emails, I got ahold of the delivery company who told me that it was on the truck and would be delivered that night - "after they finished moving people in". No show and no call - just a reschedule email for the next week. Delivery day 3 (6 days later) - still no oven. After losing 3 days of work, and 6-7 hours on the phone waiting on hold, having my oven disconnected (in the living room) awaiting their arrival - I was forced to put in my cancellation which Appliance Connection took instantaneously without regret. Appliance Connection is only as good as the 3rd parties they hire. Fragile Pak is the worst delivery company I have ever come across, which in turn has made this the worst experience I have ever had purchasing something for my home.

I bought for an apartment remodel, the refrigerator, dishwasher, range, and a dryer and washer in February 2022 with Appliance Connection. I have been VERY DISSAPOINTED and FRUSTATED. Please DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They are NOT HONEST OR RELIABLE. The sales representative was not honest with me because many of the items were back-orders. Instead of receiving them within three weeks, as I was told, the dryer and washer arrived 4 months later. The washer was damaged and they did not want to exchange it for another one unless I paid them a return fee. All the deliveries were very difficult because the company they use, AM Trucking does not coordinate well the deliveries. I had problems with our building because they had not received the insurance papers. We paid insurance from day 1. AM hire some employees that do not speak English and who are not trained to delivery the merchandise with care or knowhow. I literally saw how they threw our washer from the truck. It was not in a box. When I called Customer Service over more than 20 times, no manager from Appliance Connection would call me back. They have NO coordination with the delivery company and do not understand why they have not stopped using them.
Finally, I was forced to put a dispute with our credit card company to get our money back for the washer. Appliances Connection then sent us another washer.
I was so exhausted and upset that I have not been able to send this review until now.
They will argue the contrary and I am not willing to loose any more time with them. BEWARE!

Spoke with Appliance Connection representative.
He was helpful and understands my frustrations with driver failing to call or make the slightest effort, such as knocking on our door.
The fault is with the delivery contractor AM.
He contacted the delivery contractor, told them to make an appointment to set up rescheduled delivery.
Given that I'm 5 hours away, out of state working and I refuse to make another special trip to be screwed over again, they are going to have to wait until October to make the delivery.
My first trip to receive my delivery costed me lost wages, fuel and 2 full days lost all in all, about $1,000 loss.
There is no excuse for the lack of effort/ professionalism on the part of the trucking company.
I do not hold Appliance Connection at fault, but I will never order from them again as long as they use AM trucking for delivery.
Appliance Connection says they were unaware of a problem, I had not received any information until I had them contacted to explain the problems I experienced. Apparently the delivery contractor seen no reason to tell them that they failed to make the delivery for whatever derelict reason(s).
I have not heard from the delivery contractor as of yet.

Spent all day waiting for delivery, the ETA kept changing, I was updated via email of changes.
According to email. " Driver will call you at this number prior to arrival.
There was never a call. After waiting all day, I noticed a door hanger on our front porch. It was not filled out, looked like it was tossed from the steps.
I was in a camper in the driveway about 10 ft away from where the door hanger was placed. I was watching TV and on my phone, never noticed the driver, it's like he snuck the door hanger and ran away.
My daughter was inside the front door. The front door was open, the storm door was closed. She was about 7 ft. Away from the front door from 2:30ish to 5:15 pm. We have 3 large dogs that bark at anything. I was in the driveway, facing the front porch.
The driver claims we were not home. A complete lie. He took a picture of our front door, oh boy, maybe he should have considered knocking on it or announcing himself.
OR MADE THE PHONE CALL AS EXPLAINED IN THE EMAIL.
I'm guessing he was tired and wanted to go home, or, if I'm" not home" then they charge for the delivery.
I'm a general contractor, I remodel kitchens, bathrooms. This is a normal process to me that I go through several times every year.
I get damaged and wrong stuff, not that surprised when that happens.
The BS being pulled on me for this delivery hits way off the scale of unprofessionalism as I ever seen in my over 30 years of kitchen remodels.
My problem is with the delivery contractor, when I tried calling Appliances Connection, They returned my call, but hung up on me as I was explaining what my circumstances were. Hung up nearly instantly, didn't even ask for my information.
I want a full refund, I'm not at fault, I was present, my daughter was present, we were here and available to receive the delivery.
Phone call prior to delivery as stated in email never happened, they had the correct number and it was verified several times.
Only effort we discovered was an door hanger laying just past our steps to our front porch, which would have been just barely in my view, I might have been able to see his hand. I had my TV up loud enough to be heard from the steps and it would have been absolutely obvious that someone was in the trailer. To not set the dogs off, he did not knock on the door.
I have nothing to gain by not being there, I went through a great deal of expense and time to be there to receive my order.
I'm beyond livid and will seek council if Appliances Connection does not make an effort to at least discuss this fiasco.
If my appliances were in a truck in front of my house, wouldn't, shouldn't the driver make a slight effort to contact me/us? CALL, KNOCK, or maybe say " Hi" to the guy sitting in the trailer about 10' away from where the door hanger was found?
I had the driveway clear, it was supposed to be a lift gate drop, very simple. Hell, I never even seen nor heard the truck. I was moving the items from the driveway to the house myself, it should have been a simple drop for the driver.
Seems more like a door hanger ninja than a delivery driver.
Great place to find all kinds of appliances, with lots of variety and brands. But most of all because of their salesperson. He's knowledgeable, resourceful, and customer friendly. He has helped me to secure the washer & dryer that fits a tight place in my condo. Despite going to the shop a few times without making a purchase, every time he's been helpful, and now I am ready to make a purchase and not to go to any other places. Would not recommend doing business with this company. Needed a quick delivery and they advertised one of the quickest. Apparently that only means they will move it from their warehouse to a third party shipped where it will sit for two weeks. Tried to cancel and they stole $350 for the cost of "shipping". Customer service is terrible. Would not do business with this company again

Answer: The estimated delivery date is fairly accurate when applied to items that are already in stock at our warehouse (please note, this does not apply to items that are listed as Available). Please note, at the end of the day, it is still an estimate it can be subjected to changes, and not a definite timeframe.
Answer: STAY AWAY! We just ordered a $3,000 range from Appliance Connection. The range came damaged. The instructions say to start by removing the door. When the installer did this, the spring in the door bracket popped. First off, when you call you cannot talk to a person to report a defect. You have to use their ticket system. After a month of back and forth with their stupid ticket system, and the agent(s) contradicting themselves, they told us that it is obviously an installation problem, and they weren't going to help. Is this how you treat someone who just spent $3,000 at your store.
Answer: We ship over 1.6 million orders per year. Of those shipments, you have viewed an iota of complaints against our company. Likewise, the positive reviews also outweigh the negative reviews. It seems that you have signed for the delivery without inspecting the delivery, as we have advised you to inspect it prior to accepting delivery. With our agreements with the manufacturers, if there are any issues with the appliances, they would first be subjected to an assessment by a manufacturer certified technician. If the unit is truly, in fact, defective, they will replace the unit. If you are shipping the product back to us, we will provide a refund once confirmation is available that it is en route back to us.
