La empleada llamada Jennie del Americas Best del Hwy.6N Houston, TX, ******* es una grosera, incompetente, malcriada y comete errores con las prescripciones de los lentes de los clientes y cuando uno le pregunta o le dice que está mal lo que hizo se enoja y te dice groserías y se levanta y te grita que no te va a atender. Esta muchacha es completamente una inepta y no hace bien su trabajo a parte que me trató mal y fue descortés y grosera. Quiero hacer un reporte para que la remuevan de este local porque nosotros pagamos por un servicio y merecemos respeto y buen servicio.
Went to America best today I had a wonderful experience Josephine was very helpful she helped me pick out some amazing glasses the staff were very friendly and helpful the manager was awesome will definitely be coming back.
I brought my son to the Katy location and one of the ladies helped us find the perfect pair of glasses. It was the first time in my life I received truly professional advice about glasses. The young lady spent quite a bit of time with us and explained how the proper pair has to fit to maximize the prescription effect and not cause headaches and other unpleasant side effects.
I have been waiting for my colored contacts for a month and a half. They keep telling me it's the manufacturing company fault. But I don't understand how they can receive my right eye contact but not the left eye. When it's coming from the same manufacturing company. I've been buying my contact from americas best for over 20 years in Chicago. I have never had this horrible service there. I don't understand the delay they keep saying because of COVID everything is backed up.
Bought 2 pairs of eye glasses 3/2020 and so things were on hold because of Covid which is understandable. Since then just about every few months had to take them in to get them fixed, also told they were scratch resistance and that was a total lie; ok $400.00 later I wasted my money and will new go back there again. I totally agree with the BBB on rating this company an D- or lower.
I'm handy capped so I have to get up early to make appointments. My appointment at your Everhard branch in Canton, Ohio was 11:45. The guy next to me had been there almost an hour and still hadn't seen a doctor. We get all these reminders on text about confirmation of our appointments. Why can't this store be just as accommodating about themselves being on time.
I went to the Gurnee, IL America's Best store last week and it was painless. I had made my appointment and filled out the paperwork on line, which was easy. Everyone at the office was pleasant and through. Dr. Elmore confirmed what was changing with my eyes and explained it so I understood what to do and expect. Ivan was right there to help with choosing and correctly fitting my new glasses. Thanks for a great experience.
I have purchased glasses and had 3 eye exams at America's Best in West Plano, TX over the past 4 years. The staff has always been very helpful, and I have been very satisfied with the glasses I have purchased. Today, 2/21/22, I had an eye exam with Tram Nguyen, O. D. She took the time to listen to me and fully understand my needs and concerns. I worked with Heather to help me pick out 2 new pairs of glasses. Heather was amazing and very helpful. I look forward to all of my future interactions with her. Keep up the great work, Heather! Thank you America's Best for having outstanding staff members like Heather and Dr. Nguyen.
My husband and I pay cash for our glasses so we have to save to get them. We both got the 2/ deal here and they were good until we decided to take back to get anti reflective coating. Which is another 88$ for 2 so another expense. First 2 pairs came back very spiderweb like and we just thought that was coating then second 2 pairs were pretty clear. We were moving to Arkansas so I messaged the company 3 times explain how we can only wear 1 pair and we would like our other 2 fixed and we have not got any response at all just a robot message. We paid almost 1,000$ for all this junk and can only wear 1 pair and can't even get a professional response. Never again.
Do not go to American's Best in Bluffton,SC!They will rip you off! My wife and I had to pay almost $300 a piece for our glasses. They will give you a very weak prescription. They don't even give you the lens you need to help you see. My wife went to Walmart and got a $6 pair of eye glasses and can see way better without any headaches. America's Best needs to go out of business!

What I was expecting sounds good The I exam what is free with the glasses but over 300 and some dollars later For one pair and by the way is 79.95 a pair That are uncoated Single vision I should have looked more in to it but when Advertise that's all they show 2 pair for 79.95
They advertise two pair single lens glasses for $79.95 and when I called, they quoted me $99.95 for no line bifocals. After my exam and choosing cheapest frames, I was then told my two pair of no line (progressive) lens glasses were going to cost over $400, with no additional add ons! I informed the tech that I was quoted $99.95, she said that was the receptionist that I must have spoken to, should have spoken with a tech. I paid for the exam ($59.) and bought my glasses at Walmart Optical who honored my prescription. I can tell you that my new glasses did not cost anywhere near $400!
I would not recommend this location.
If I could leave no stars, I would. I have been going to America's best for over 10 years. Unfortunately, there customer service is in the toilet. I will never go their again or take my family. For one, the prices are NOT competitive. Second, staff IS unprofessional and disrespectful. I was given the wrong fax number when I told them I was ordering contact from 1800Contacts. Then, when 1800Contacts rep attempted to verify the fax number with America's best (Deptford) The staff kept hanging up on them. When I called to confirm the staff was extremely rude and disrespectful. They hung up on the 1800 contacts rep on purpose. It took me 45 minutes and three people to confirm the right fax number. They make it difficult for you to order elsewhere.
I recently had the oppertunity to finally get glasses from Americas best. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. All the staff, the front desk desk, technician and the Doctor. Had a few laughs as well. Great deal and great service. And guess what...I can see now! I will go back here, i recommend them if you are looking for a great place to get an exam and low cost for exam and glasses.

They never call me to tell me the glasses were ready, after 2 weeks I go pick them up one of the glasses was broken they promise to have the glasses in a week. Iv'e been there 3 times call 2 times and its been almost 2 months and I still don't have my glasses... St Cloud Florida store *******

Was in store 3 min before being asked if I had a face covering. When I told them no. Per my Dr. The attendant then proceeded to violate HIPA laws and ask me what my medical condition was that I couldn't wear a mask. I do not recommend this place.

I made a special 20 mile trip to town to have my glasses tightened. Despite two employees in the store, no one could assist me as there was no optomitrist on site, optomitrist works part-time. Nothing on website clearly indicating no optomitrist fulltime. I called complaint line and all I got was "sorry." I paid for service in the price of my glasses; cheap glasses, cheaper service.
The associates at the Wildwood Centre location in Homewood, AL love what they do! From trying to set the soonest available appointment over the phone to the greetings we received as soon as we opened the door; this place oozed with quality customer service. I felt completely comfortable during our visit because all the associates were following the required COVID protocols. We were immediately checked in and didn't have to wait to be seen. The variety of frames available for my 13yr old to select from made this a very stress less process. This was our first time at America's Best and I was highly impressed. The associates were pleasant and explained each step of the process and treated us like family. We will definitely be back!
The staff at AB in Palm Coast Fla has no clue what they are doing. They have continued to mess up my trial order of contacts. Did not call me when they came in several times. They lost a pair and had to reorder. Did not order them twice. I wish I had never gotten involved with AMERICAS WORST eye glass place!

Answer: From my experience, calling America's Best customer service is an exercise in wasting time. The telephone supervisor I spoke with displayed no interest in the mistreatment at the store, the store's loss of eye exam/purchase records, or the manager's apparent hostility towards the disabled. I was actually informed all America's Best stores have a partially hidden ("not-prominently displayed") sign stating the store can refuse service to anyone. This should be investigated.

Answer: Potential customers have the option of going online and going through the wide variety of frames (divided into men, women, and kids and price-point categories). Then, go to the store, hand your list to your consultant, and try on the frames. There are other on-line sellers that glasses by mail. I was turned off at the complicated criteria for measuring one's face for a proper fit. I prefer to get fitted on-site, not online.
Answer: I can't answer for any store but the one I visited. My eye exam there was conducted on Saturday morning. I do believe all stores do offer Saturday appointments, but best check by calling first.
