I love Amazon when you buy direclty from them and you have to return something my shipping has been payed but I have made some orders from other sellers that I was completely unsatisfied with, the product did not work! I contacted them and told them I wanted to return it, they wouldn't pay for the return shipping, so I prefer to but straight from Amazon I don't trust other sellers now.

And whenever I want to buy something, even in store, I check out its Amazon reviews. I find the reviews to be impartial and they usually give good pros and cons. I buy tons of items from Amazon - from Himalayan Salt Lamps to shoes and straws for reusable plastic cups. Shipping is super fast and free since I have a Prime account. I've saved tons on shipping alone with Prime and the upgrade to next day air is so cheap I've upgraded several deliveries to next day delivery. Returns are a breeze and I personally love that there are tons of reliable reviews on each product and also on sellers.
This is probably my favorite freaking site on the net! I spend as much money at Amazon as I probably at my local WalMart. Their prices are tough to beat and you get free shipping for all orders over $25.
I puchased a refurbished Wii Rock Band set since the drums are no longer made. I happen to live near the Krazee Krazees facility, so I picked up the set myself. The drums did need a repair after purchase, which they took care of immediately.

I bought an expensive pram set that cost us more than $1,000.00. The transaction went through but after one day I was informed that my account was fraudulent. Four reps told me I did not pass all security checks and I had to call Amazon. Com because they flagged my account and even inactivated it. Not only was I accused of being a fraud because of their own error. I was sublected to too much stress. Probably they dont get as much people to buy more than a thousand dollars everyday so its a red flag for them. My bank even had to call them and ask what was wrong with the transactions since the bank approved of it. I used a debit card (GOOD as Cash)
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE THAT CALLS YOU A FRAUD WHEN you buy something expensive and that sends them red flags. STAY OUT OF THIS SITE that gives you stress more than convenience. Best site ever for books and other media. I am a Prime member now, totally worth it to be able to order items and get them in 2 days with free shipping. I love my Kindle fire HD also, so much better than my old ipad. Amazon has excellent customer service and you can call them! I always check prices and products on Amazon now before buying. Their phone app is marvelous also.
I love everything on Amazon, except the slow shipments
Amazon seems to have been around forever. About a month ago I bought a used book. Great price, great book and no problems at all. I used Amazon some years ago and it did not go so well. However, my recent experience I can highly rate. They really seemed to have improved how they do things which is great for someone like me who would prefer to get good deals on old stuff.
I believe Amazon is involved in fraud. They seem to have a glitch in their online ordering system that causes you to order items that you do not want. I was ordering two books, but had others in my shopping cart, I selected a quantity of 0 on the items that I did not want. The only step to proceed from that page was to place the order, and the items that I had select as 0 quantity where ordered. Immediately afterwards I cancelled the order! And received confirmation of the cancelation, but still the order was placed. So now even if I cancel my order I still have to pay shipping. A company as big as this would not make their website so user friendly with out it being an intentional way to make customers spend more $$ then the intend to. Seems like fraud to me.

I'm sure they're not perfect, but speaking only for myself I have ordered many kinds items here and thee through the years and I have never had a problem. Most recently I ordered my first 64-bit system in many different pieces and orders through them and all the parts have shown up on time or early and all the parts were what they were supposed to be, as, dealing with a firm as well-known and established as Amazon is, I expected them to be.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
