I purchased a product using Amazon Prime on November 25th, hoping to take advantage of the promise of fast delivery that comes with the subscription. However, my experience has been anything but efficient and satisfactory. The product not only failed to arrive on the promised date, but after a wait of 18 days, on December 13th, I am faced with the frustrating news that my order might have been lost.
The most disappointing part of all is the solution that Amazon offers. Despite being a Prime customer, all they propose is to send another product and wait at least another week. This means that, in the best-case scenario, I will receive my mobile phone a month after the original purchase date.
Paying for Amazon Prime implies expecting a service of quality, efficiency, and quick solutions. In my case, they not only lost my product, but they have also made me lose valuable time. The trust I had in Amazon Prime has been seriously affected by this experience, and I am forced to reconsider whether it is worth continuing to pay for this service
I brought an gaming chair in 2017 but it was only second-hand, I really wanted a new one because my back was hurting also the chair was really uncomfortable. So I looked everywhere on different sites and the prices was ridicule. I was strolling through and for a reasonable price on amazon I brought it and it come the next day also very easy to set up and I have been using amazon for 2 years now and damn they are good
Absolutely fab as always. Been buying from them for quite few years now and everything is great, all the sellers are very good and the price is cheaper everytime. Theyre one of the best in the world i would say... :)
I love Amazon, I always order something from there, recently I ordered two DVDs and they came the next day! I didn't even pay extra for next day delivery.
I also had to call them up because a product was missing from a different delivery and they sent me a replacement that arrived the next day, which made me really happy, the woman on the phone was very helpful as well
Amazon Customer Service a disaster. I made a complaint 12 months ago informing them of an account lockout. I had made a complaint in relation to items not delivered. I have reiterated this advice 13 times including another three attempts today, always given the promise of a callback or email resolution. Follow-up was never received. I am at a loss of €500 for over 12 months.
I love amazon. Always the best range, best price if you shop around and best customer protection - far better than ebay and paypal in my opinion.
The sellers vary but I try to stick to Amazon Prime. Yes, I'm one of the saddos who pays an annual subscription for free next day delivery... and guess what... IT WORKS!
Next day delivery is an absolute must and should not be without it.

Amazon have a 30 day policy on returns/refunds. But the law on electrical warranties is way more than 30 days. So don't purchase electrical items from Amazon as they don't seem to know the law or consumer rights. So I wont use them, best all go to a proper retailer and avoid Amazon.
I have been waiting for over 13 days now for a £665 refund for a laptop I had returned which Amazon acknowledged they received 10 days ago. Having told me I would be receiving my refund tomorrow they have now said they have implemented a policy not to refund any return of over £220 in value for 30 days from date of the return.Needless to say I won't be ordering anything above this value from them ever again and I would advise other consumers to be aware of this
Very happy with amazon, I buy a great deal from them. Only a couple of times have I had cause to return an item and have been refunded within a couple of days. They sell an amazing amount of different items and are cheaper than most stores, and fast shipping.
: I love the ease of using the Angry Mama microwave cleaner and the fact that it allows you to clean without using any chemicals (which I feel is important as I do use my microwave quite often with my Tupperware Smart Steamer). The item was also a lot larger than I expected. Just remove the hair with a twist and add vinegar to lower fill line then water to upper fill line water (I did add a touch of lemon but it didn't make that much difference - next time I will add a bit more I think). Still, a nice little gadget to have as it does do the job and it's funny to look at.
I have not received a parcel (value £119.99). Amazon claim that it was handed to a resident at the delivery address. This is a lie. They will not refund me unless I file a police report. I have contacted the police who will not file a report because Amazon have no proof that it was delivered to me therefore Amazon is the victim of any crime not me. Amazon's "proof" is the order number, a delivery confirmation email and a tracking ID number. None. I have lost £119.99 and can do nothing about it. I am looking into legal action against them.
Amazon UK charged me for 1 year Prime membership $79 on 26th Nov 2015 without notifying, and i never agreed to start or join their membership at all, they ruined my trust with my credit card information and this is an act of stealing. Their services suck, I always have to pay for shipping from different suppliers and Amazon provides nothing, delivery always 2-3 weeks like a nightmare, and now they charged me for their membership?
I am deeply disappointed with Amazon, I am posting this complaint to warn peoples watch out from Amazon. This is absolute unacceptable as a customer.
By FAR the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to purchase from!
They take you money nice and swiftly, but as soon as you request a refund, return the item with full tracking information, they "ask" you to wait up to 2-months after confirmed delivery before they will "investigate".
This is a CLEAR breach of long distance selling laws, but no matter what you attempt to do (FYI: don't bother wasting your time on obtaining a police report, as they also ignore this and lie point blank to you), they will always prolong and continue to contradict you each other.
I am starting a legal petition for Amazon UK to correct their current processes & procedures in line with long distance selling laws, and if not will incur numerous regulatory fines.
No matter the size of the organisation, they are certainly not above the law and must start treating their customers in a professional manner!

If you are trying to by anything online from amazon.co.uk make sure most of the stuff are from china and imagine you will have an issue with the item you bought as I had already is very difficulty to contact the seller or to make them understandable your issue what you are facing! All offices are in china and are using a depots on U. K And sell in amazon! Ok if you said I'm going back to amazon you are taking a wrong step as amazon's customerservices are very well trained to be nicely and politely but you will end up no where with waste of time and money, as what happened to us.

I like to buy the household goods such as shelf, washcloths, batteries, toilet paper, hygrometer and humidity gauge indicator etc. at this site since it really has a very wide range of products. Just search, I can find what I am looking for, very convenient. I can always receive my items quickly. The quality is good.
Rubbish. Dont order anything from this site because you will not recieve it. I ordered a camera lens and after 2 months of waiting and a couple of excuse emails from them they finally told me what I already knew. 'Sorry but we cannot continue with your order - contact your credit card company for a refund' or words to that affect. Wouldn't mind but I paid with debit card and feel stupid, never again!
Love Amazon, i buy off them all the time never had a problem, i get my e books off them they have a great range to choose from and even free one's!.
I never worry about delivery as i have always got my goods on time and always in top condition.
Made an order for more than 500 pounds and was given an estimated delivery time of dec 7-19. Contacted them on Dec 20 to complain about the fact that my items didn't arrive and was told that this is normal and I should wait until jan 29th! I made this order on November 30th and there was no mention that it would have taken 2 whole months to have my items! All items are sold, processed and shipped by amazon and I am a prime member as well. I will be cancelling my prime membership and I strongly advice everyone to avoid amazon as it's just not reliable anymore.
I returned the Macbook using Amazon's procedure. I got the refund but after that I received an e-mail saying that the package contained other product and not the Macbook. It's not clear what's going to happen next but they don't give any information on their replies to my e-mails, in chat or in the Costumer Service phone.
The Amazon Marketplace is good, however alot of us fail to understand that there are 3rd party sellers who provide the service/ product via the Amazon Platform. They put in the hard work and Amazon takes the credit/ commision. However apart from that Amazon do have good prices but ship very slowly when opting for the 'free delivery' option unlike if you purchase from the 3rd party seller who usually despatch within 2 days. Overall the buying experience is good and quick however prices are cheaper outside amazon by the sellers who sell on their own sites so shop around!
