Big choices of varies products.
Pre-booking for a new book realizes.
Very few restrictions on deliveries to certain countries, for example to UAE.
Disgusted with Amazon. I ordered several items eligible for Prime next day delivery on Saturday. Someone was in all day until 9:30 PM and no delivery was made, when we called at 8:30 PM we were treated rudely by Amazon staff, and received an email after midnight saying that due to technical delivery is the delivery had not been made. After several calls with them on Monday, they said that there was nothing they could do and that even though they were using Amazon logistics to do the delivery they had no control over their carrier. After some time I managed to get them to confirm that they would expedite the delivery and I received an email confirming that the delivery would be made yesterday. Again we make sure someone was in most of the day I know delivery was made. I sent an email asking for an update and simply got a response saying Sorry that they had communicated with the delivery company. Again the delivery has not been made and no one has provided us with any good reason why not, nor given us a proper apology or any sensible compensation.
As a lawyer, and the person with a bit of common sense, I can see that Amazon Have set them selves up so that they make promises which they often do not fulfill, they have a customer service on the other side of the world two out of the four people I spoke to could barely speak English who have less authority and room to move than a chatbot, they are for little or no compensation for their breach of contract and they are confident that given the difficulties of going via small claims route, most people will not pursue damages. Additionally, If they are for filling the order on behalf of themselves or a third party, there is no way to rate Amazon's poor service - you can only rate marketplace sellers. I really think my days of using Amazon and numbered.
Never buy Apple products from Amazon like I did on 11 August 2021.
Apple Products and Consumer Laws in the United Kingdom under consumer laws in the UK, consumers are entitled to a free of charge repair and (depending on the circumstances) may be entitled to a replacement, discount or refund by the seller, of defective goods or goods which do not conform with the contract of sale. For goods purchased in England or Wales, these rights expire six years from delivery of the goods and for goods purchased in Scotland, these rights expire five years from delivery of the goods.
When you purchase Apple hardware products, you will also receive coverage from the Apple Limited Warranty. This coverage operates alongside and in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law. You can also obtain additional benefits by purchasing the optional AppleCare Protection Plan or AppleCare+.
Should your product be defective or if it does not conform with the contract of sale, you can choose to make a claim under UK consumer law, the Apple Limited Warranty or the optional AppleCare Protection Plan or AppleCare+ (whichever is applicable).
Amazon refuses to honour this Consumer Law.
His watch was purchased over 1 year ago, and after sending it in for a hardware repair, Amazon said there will be a charge for the repair - totally unnacceptable
I tend to use Amazon more than Google now for anything I need to buy online. It's fast delivery service is magnificent.
What a dream amazon is its customer service is unbelievably efficient and glorious in its speed of reply.
Highly recommend using this.
Whats can I say for what is the "industry standard" for e-commerce. Brilliant every time, and when they are not, they fix the problem straight away!
Item came damaged and seller wont do anything about it and amazon was too slow to help either. Wont use again
The product I received was missing a crucial part that was not mentioned in the item description. When I contacted Amazon UK to request the missing part, they initiated a return process without confirming with me first. During this process, they assured me that if I had a receipt for the return shipping, they would refund the full amount, saying, "Please rest assured, we will refund the full amount including the return shipping cost if you provide the receipt."
However, after I actually returned the item to Amazon UK and the package reached them, Amazon UK did not acknowledge receiving the return item at all. When I emailed them the official email receipt for the return shipping that I obtained from the carrier, Amazon UK responded for the first time, stating that they only accept a "physical" receipt for the return shipping and thus cannot process the refund.
This requirement is not stated anywhere in Amazon UK's refund policy or in the instructions for returns. It seemed to me that Amazon UK was making unreasonable excuses because they did not want to issue a refund. Despite numerous email inquiries, I only received templated responses that did not address my questions. The same dismissive treatment occurred during online chat sessions where they abruptly ended the chat after stating they only accept "physical" receipts.
I have done a lot of online shopping before, but this is the first time I have been treated so unfairly and poorly. I never expected such treatment from Amazon. Both the returned item and the return shipping were quite expensive, so I am now very afraid they will not refund me at all.
When I returned items to Amazon JP, they promptly refunded me, including the return shipping costs. The service from Amazon UK is vastly different.
Their handling feels worse than dealing with a scam site; it's like talking to a brick wall. It's terrifying that even though the return item has long been delivered to Amazon UK, they haven't acknowledged receiving it. Are they really going to claim they haven't received the return package and refuse to refund me? This is terrifying.
I regret trusting Amazon UK's words, "Please rest assured, we will refund the full amount including the return shipping," and I wish I hadn't returned the item in the first place.
I have bought so many items now from amazon that I am now 110% confident using this site. I consider them to be an excellent, fail-safe site.
Brilliant, if I can't find an item locally, I can always find it on amazon. Super fast delivery. Recommended.
Love Amazon - always safe and trustworthy, and they have even started delivering on a Sunday now. They are great.
This website indicates that it is in the UK - in fact it is US based. Cameras have been ordered but not delivered
