I purchased an industrial sewing machine on Alibaba.com (Order **************545, May 2025, $890). The product arrived: damaged (pierced packaging, broken pallet, visible machine damage), and not as described (6mm stitch regulator instead of 8mm, missing thread winder). The seller refused warranty and after-sales service. I submitted photos, videos, and detailed reports. Instead of protecting the buyer, Alibaba's dispute team closed the case unfairly and only offered me $150 coupon, which I refused. I have contacted them more than 10 times, but no fair resolution was provided. Now I am forced to escalate this case to my bank (chargeback) and consumer protection authorities. Alibaba's so-called "Trade Assurance" does not protect buyers. You risk losing both your money and your product.

This place is an absolute disgrace ali baba Queanbeyan. I ordered the family snack pack and what I got was a mountain of chips with barely any meat hiding in it. Calling it "family" is a joke – it's nothing but a scam. If there were negative stars, they'd deserve it. They're not serving food, they're robbing people in plain sight. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs – total rip-off!

I purchased some items from the company above. We agreed on a price, they asked me to make a payment so they can ship out. I paid, right after that, the seller Bob Yang, asked for more money in order to ship out the items. I said no, please cancel my order and I want a full refund. Then he said he can only refund me for the already high shipping cost. I filed a dispute, wish me luck.

My experience with Alibaba has been an absolute nightmare and a total fraud. I ordered a tractor and attachments worth over $2,800 USD.+770usd CIF contract.+1620 eur Plus 1620 euros lost for handling and storage in a port in Slovenia, which I did not agree to, because the goods were supposed to arrive by sea at the port of Constanta. However, from Slovenia they transported it by land and not even to the final destination; they took it to a warehouse at an airport in Bucharest, blackmailing me that if I did not pay 1620 euros, they would not release the tractor to me. The supplier blatantly lied about shipping details, falsified documents, and delivered a defective tractor with serious internal engine defects and missing or incompatible parts. Alibaba's "buyer protection" is a complete joke. They ignored all my proof of fraud, including photos, videos, forged bills of lading, and contracts. Their escalation system is broken, and their customer service is robotic, incompetent, and contradictory. After months of fighting, they simply closed my dispute without resolution, leaving me with a broken tractor, missing parts, and thousands of euros lost. Every time I tried to speak with a customer service agent, it was always a different person, and I had to explain the entire situation from the beginning again and again. Alibaba is nothing more than a platform that enables scammers and protects fraudulent suppliers while abandoning legitimate customers like me. If you want real protection and honest service, STAY FAR AWAY from Alibaba! I will NEVER buy from Alibaba again, and I urge everyone to think twice before risking your money on this disaster of a platform. I lost I have lost a total of $5,320 USD due to this transaction. The attachments I received are only compatible with that specific type of tractor, but now that the tractor is defective from the factory, I have no use for them. The supplier is no longer responding, and I am left with a faulty tractor and useless parts. Extremely disappointed and caution other buyers to be very careful. Alibaba.com is a platform that shamelessly protects scammers through the very rules it has put in place. It shows zero respect for user rights and completely avoids taking responsibility for anything. Their so-called "support" is nothing but a cover-up — they make sure the fraudsters stay safe while the victims are left helpless. This platform is absolutely not trustworthy, despite the reputation it pretends to have. My experience with Alibaba was a complete disaster, and I strongly warn others: don't be fooled — this platform stands with scammers, not with you.

Scam Alert – Delays, no tracking, no refund!
I ordered a product worth $2,560 USD from a "verified supplier" on Alibaba. Shipping was promised within 45 days. It's been over 60 days now and: No valid tracking number No delivery No refund Alibaba support is sending auto replies Seller is ignoring all messages I contacted Alibaba, the seller, and top management. No one helped.
This is completely unacceptable, and I will continue exposing this scam experience across platforms.

Great sales lady and wonderful service and communication throughout all of my transactions. She is truly a remarkable lady who goes the extra mile with every transacton. The product is wonderful. Beautifully stitched, a fantastic base, light with a great front mesh that is perfect. Color, fabric, weight, Mould, it is all perfect. The comb clips were excellent and this piece is the most natural looking money can buy. The price of the unit was spectacular for what was received. Excellent value and you couldn't ask for a better purchasing experience. Thank you a million times... thank you!

I bought Aluminum Shutters for my home
July 10, 2025

I paid cash for the shutter March 1st. They arrived at the end of May. The shutters were damaged beyond repair when they arrived. The crate protecting them was just a frame and the shutters wrapped in plastic. It looks like something smaller than the crate landed in the middle of the shutters bending the frames and ripping the aluminum lovers. All shutters suffered heavy damage and are beyond repair. The supplier also made the shutters so that the length and width were reversed and even if that had not been destroyed in shipping, I would not have been able to use them. The supplier will not refund my money stating the shipper is responsible. I escalated the claim to Alibaba who is doing nothing but asking me over and over every two weeks to resubmit evidence. Many photos and videos were taken. I'm beyond disappointed and I have a garage full of useless aluminum. They even made the lovers 3 inches wide. It looks like a vent on a commercial building. I will include photos of the measurements I sent and where the wrong measurements were entered as well as some pictures of the damage. The supplier was Guangdong Nordi.

I ordered quite often on the site. All orders are good except one. I got scammed by one of the seller that post fake review to offset their order issue rating. That is why I filed with Alibaba trade assurance hoping Alibaba will do the right thing. I submitted all the wrong item photos and conversation to the platform. They agent Ken just keep delaying the verdict and try to find a chance disapprove the claim. Eventually he did.
I just want to let people know what actually happened. Alibaba will be on the seller side no matter what happened. Just my experience on the Alibaba trade assurance.

Never trust alibaba

I had a very disappointing experience with Alibaba. Based on my experience, I would advise against doing business for more than $100 on the platform, as the risk of loss becomes significant. If a seller fails to deliver or backs out of the deal, Alibaba does not provide sufficient assurance or effective support, despite the Trade Assurance policy.

I have ordered a body kit to AMG GT through Alibaba website from the company named Guangzhou Chui Chui Feng Automotive Products Co., Ltd (seller name Mr. Cheng Chen). Order number #**************. It was promised that delivery will come in 10-12 days, however it took 20-25 days to come. They said that the order will be delivered to home, however, I had to order a truck to take the body kit very far from the city. They promised for compensation 5-8$ per day of delay, however, they did not payout. They promised that they will compensate truck expenses, but I did not receive anything yet. The body kit came broken, all the body parts were partially broken, it was promised that it would be half-carbon, however, it was just a print of carbon, after that, we tried to wear a body kit to the car, and it did not fit the car at all, some parts were small (not enought size), some parts were larger than it should be. Therefore, we had to cut our original body parts in order to make a new body kit from China fit the car. The price of work has increased substantially as they delivered the lowest possible quality body parts. After that, I wrote to the company saying that many body parts were broken and that we are not satisfied with the quality after what we were offered a 300$ compensation which does not even met our waitings. After that they offered 600$, however, it was too low sum to reach an agreement. Then we have escalated case to Alibaba specialists, however, very uncessusfull experience. First of all, there were conversations regarding compensation starting from 800$, after that offered 1.100$ which was still low because we have cut our original body parts to make fit the body kit. Then we asked for 2.600$, but the Alibaba decided just to close the case with no compensation at all. I have shown all the videos and photos that the body kit does not fit the car. I have wrote to alibaba's spiecialists via live chat, they said that they will send my message that I've agreed at least for 1.100$, but still I did not receive any answer yet, many days have gone and still no result. Hopefully, I will get an answer and will be compensated for damaged products and low quality products. Date of experience: June 05,2025

If you're a buyer thinking about placing your trust — and your money — with Alibaba's Trade Assurance, think again. You're on your own if anything goes wrong. I strongly advise businesses to explore alternative platforms that offer real buyer protections, enforceable standards, and ethical accountability.

Please know once you pay for a product its over, you are on your own. Alibaba does not protect the buyer at all. Trade Assurance is a complete joke and beyond frustrating. The online horrible customer service will wear you down! They know exactly what they are doing If the merchandise is damaged you will have no recourse. Trade Assurance stated to me they can NOT force a merchant to refund monies. If the merchandise is of poor quality, are you going to spend the money to ship it back? They will not reimburse the shipping. The merchandise, more than likely, is less that the shipping, sellers know this. Good luck getting the refund. Reading the other reviews are advised. I believe the 4 & 5 star people were lucky but the others that lost thousands are more informative of this horrible Alibaba BS process. My advise stay clear!
