I have to say that I love the dress, it took less than a month to arrive and I'm happy with that! Unfortunately, when I opened up the plastic, there were so many sequins falls off! It is normal for sequins to fall off from a full-on sequin dress but this is way out of normal. I look closely on the threads and the workmanship is so bad that all threads are left hanging, no dead knot. My mom have to scan through the dress and fix it! It's expensive for what it is. I would definitely not recommend it unless they improve their workmanship.

It is hard to believe that this company can offer such poor customer service. I purchased a dress at a promotional price. Unfortunately, it was the wrong size, but this company will not offer an exchange at that price, I have to pay the full price. When contacting customer service, I found very little help. The person (Cheryl) did not even want to give me information as to where they are located in order for me to speak to someone else. She would not give me any contact info except their email address. I highly doubt that anyone in this company will get back to me. Working in this industry, I can say that I have yet to encounter a customer service person who was less helpful, courteous and willing to actually offer some customer service. DISAPPOINTING!

Outstanding customer service and personal service. Kudos to Peter who made it happen for me. The shawl I purchased is absolutely beautiful, I was desperate to receive it the very next day, which was a Friday. According to the representative, items purchased after 1 PM go on next days delivery, so it would not have been delivered until Monday. As they don't deliver on weekends. Being sensitive to my concern, I was shocked to see it in my driveway the very next day. Peter made a special effort to get it out on Thursdays delivery. The scarf is beautiful, and I wore it on the weekend and received several compliments. I read all these negative reviews and I'm shocked. I received a completely opposite customer service experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone!

Why is tier customer service so slow and not customer friendly? They won't return emails, nor did I get anywhere on the phone. This company is awful! Order from Nordstrom instead, if you HAVE to! I wouldn't give one penny more! HORRIBLE!

I bought the Off the Shoulder Floral Sequin Dress and after one wear, the majority of beads came off - the dress is now a "one time use" disposable piece unfortunately. After back and forth with customer service where they initially led me on to think they would fix the dress or cover the costs to fix, they quickly backed away and are offering ZERO compensation here. Keep in mind this is after weeks of communication with customer service where they had me get estimates from tailors on repair costs and such. Ultimately, I end up with no replacement, no fixes, no discount/refund, etc. For a $350 purchase, I find the quality and customer service to be not acceptable.

I was excited to receive my full length gown which looked very nice but as soon as I opened the gown from the plastic, there were beads all over my floor. I will still wear it since it was dirt cheap and looks nice but it is going to be annoying having beads fall all over my house since I tried shaking the excess off, but feel more beads will likely fall off as I wear the gown. That's why I gave a three star review. Five stars for appearance but minus two for the way the beads are falling off.

I rarely write reviews, but I had to give my two cents after I read so many bad reviews of this website. Based on my experience I found the website easy to navigate, with a large selection of quality dresses at a reasonable price. I ordered 3 dresses to try on for my daughter's wedding (free shipping!). I received 3 dresses within a week of ordering. Unfortunately, they sent me 2 of the same dresses and one that I ordered was missing. After a phone call to AP, they sent me a no-cost return label for the duplicate dress. Once I had a Fed Ex tracking number for that return, I called them and they over-nighted the dress that I did not receive. During every phone call, the representative was courteous and assisted with my problem. They have a 30-day (from date of order delivery date) full refund policy which make sit easy to try on multiple dresses and return the unwanted dresses. I would definitely recommend this website.

I ordered three dresses for prom, for my daughter, with the intention of selecting one and returning two. Once the three dresses arrived, she made her selection immediately and the other two were returned exactly as outlined in their policies. Two weeks later, no credit had been given, so I called their customer service. They asked me to patiently wait a full 30 days. No problem. I waited 45 days, still no refund. I called, gave them the tracking number from shipment and the order number. Five days later, I received an email that they had refunded ONE dress. I immediately emailed them asking about the other dress. NO response. So I called them just now (it has been 51 days since they received the dresses) and after 20 minutes on hold, the rep told me she "expedited" the refund of the other dress. I have my fingers crossed that will happen. The total for both dresses is about $535.00.

This has taken way too much of my time for such a simple transaction. I will say that the gowns are beautiful, but I will not go through this hassle again in the future.

Dress quality was nice, but the fit was too big, so I initiated a return. Adrianna Papell never bothered to send me a notification that the return was received and processed, not did they respond to my follow-up inquiry. Only after my second inquiry, weeks later, did they finally respond. Not the customer service I would expect. I would recommend purchasing their products from a department store or reliable retailer instead.

I love Adrianna Papell dresses. I wore one for my daughters wedding and I found several others I really like. BUT Never order directly from them. Order from Nordstrom or any other store who carries them.
I had found a dress I thought I loved for a special event, ordered it but after careful consideration I decided to return it. First of all do it quickly - you only have 30 days. Then when you ship it back for $6.95 you will never hear from anyone again. I got confirmation from FEDEX that it was received so I tried to follow up on my refund. Multiple phone calls were not even answered. Emails were not responded to. Finally I found another email to contact someone who wasn't even related to returns. She got involved and I got my refund. It took almost two weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. If I ever buy another Adrianna Papell dress it will not be from their website.

I purchased directly from the Adrianna Papell website and never received my dress or a refund. They just string you along, acting like they're investigating but 2 months later, still no refund. The dress was for my son's wedding and as you can imagine, money was tight, so buying a replacement dress was a challenge without the refund.

I ordered a dress three weeks ago! Havent received anything upto date and the order number i have doesnt go through! My account was charged and haven't received anything from them than a yuck customer service!
If you really care for the money u struggle to get, avoid loosing it to this site. If u have lots to waste and dont care about your money worth, feel free to shop with AP. Am not done with you!

Appalling.

Ordered a dress from AP for my wedding and it arrived with beading missing from the front of the dress. Even though the dress was defective the company would not return it as it was a final sale item and I received a long string of patronising emails from one of the worst customer service departments I have ever encountered. I wish I had read the reviews here before ordering and will be actively warning friends and family away from this awful company.

Ordered 2 "Mother of the Bride" dresses from the Adrianna Pappel website. The dresses that came were beautiful but didn't fit. I returned them the next day, paying Fed Ex postage to have them arrive quickly. They cost me over $300.00 and I needed the money back. The website said that refunds were issued in 14 business days. That was 2/24/16. As of 4/1/16, no refund. I was told that they had received my return on 2/24 but I had to wait for 30 business days to get my refund because the company had changed its refund policy from 15 to 30 business days. My refund finally came on 4/2. From now on I'm buying from companies that have brick and mortar stores or companies who are known for good customer service. Stay away from Adrianna Pappel's online store

Finally got my return label... past due the date, I could return the dresses for a refund. Used one return label and taped two boxes together. After multiple phone calls to the company, I saw a refund for all the dresses on my pay pal... that same day I get a call from the company that none of the dresses have been returned? I told them about the credit and the customer service rep said that was impossible... the saga continues

I purchased several dresses from Adrianna Papell for my daughter's wedding. Nothing fit too big or too small. Tried to print a return label but the site said I had no account and no email address could be found... even though I received multiple emails from them. Customer service is closed on weekends. Finally reached customer service. Took forever to straighten it out, still not quite finished, the person has to check with his supervisor because I need two return labels for one order even though they came in two separate boxes... are you kidding me. I still have to stick with the 30-day return even after all this...

Although their clothing is beautiful, do not buy it from them on-line. They take forever to ship you your order (even though they charge you immediately) and they take forever to refund your money.

1) I placed my order on 9/5/21 (paid for the dress AND shipping!)
2) My credit card was charged on 9/5/21
3) I received an email on 9/6/21 that my order had shipped and the tracking number was provided
4) I kept checking FedEx and it showed that the package had not been given to them.
5) I emailed on 9/11/21 to cancel the order and was told that I couldn't, but could return it and my shipping would be waived.
6) Per FedEx, the order finally shipped on 9/21/21 (10 days after I was told that it was too late to cancel)
7) I received the package on 9/25/21 and immediately took it to FedEx to return it
8) It was confirmed received on 10/4/21 and indicated that it would take up to 15 business days to issue my refund

I called on 10/25/21 and was told that someone would check into it and get back to me. L have not heard from them. I will be calling Amex to dispute the charges.

I bought two dresses online thinking that I would decide which one I wanted and return the other one without difficulty. I mailed back that dress on February 7th. It is March 15th and I still do not have a refund. I called several times only to be put on hold for 30 minutes or longer without anyone ever answering. I sent several emails to the customer service department without any response. Once I finally did get a hold of someone, they told me that their warehouse receives the returns and they cannot verify whether it has been received but that it can take 3 weeks or longer to process the return. And to just keep calling back. If only you didn't have to wait 30 minutes or more each time you call and still not get a person to speak with. I am very disappointed and will NEVER order from them again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

I bought a size 8 gown in June 2001 for my daughters upcoming wedding. Realizing in September that I would probably need a 10, but it wasn't available on the website, I ordered a 12 to have it altered. I sent back the 8 (which was outside of the 30 day exchange window) but requested they use my in-store credit and apply it to the new size I wanted to keep. They would not refund my latest purchase, apply the funds from my June 2001 purchase without me returning both dresses. I emailed and called several times and they were basically asking me to pay double the price for the dress unless I returned it. Now, I have my in-store credit, but the size 12 is not available for purchase. I LOVED THIS DRESS and so did my daughter. Now I am stuck with $300+ credit, and no dress. All they had to do was apply the in-store credit without me returning the dress. I'm so upset. I personally will never shop here again or buy this brand due to this truly disappointing exchange with them.

I ordered 2 dresses from the website. When I called to get a return slip they were very rude. They said they couldn't send me one and I would have to call corporation. They gave me the same number that I just called. They are ignorant and not worth doing business with. Wasted 1 hour on the phone trying to ask for a simple return.
