AAA Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is increasingly marred by negative customer experiences, particularly regarding delays in roadside assistance and inadequate support during emergencies. Many long-term members express frustration over service failures, including unresponsive technicians and unfulfilled warranty claims. Despite some positive feedback highlighting reliable service in the past, the trend indicates a significant decline in customer satisfaction, with numerous individuals contemplating membership cancellation. The overarching sentiment suggests a disconnect between customer expectations and the actual service provided, prompting a need for the company to enhance its communication and accountability measures.

Been members for years. When any member of the family has a flat, fender-bender or needs a tow they show up quickly and ready to help. Saves us a ton of money as cars age. Also enjoy the many, many discounts.

Infidelity
October 7, 2017

AAA of Lancaster CA has lost business. They have an agent in training for travel by the name of Lyndsay Ortiz Zillner who pursued my husband (knowing he was married) while on AAA money in a hotel that AAA paid for for training. I contacted the manager, and she still has her job, even though she is unethical and unprofessional.

Along with warranties, new warranties, some credit card coverages, ad infinitum! Triple AAA was the first place to go before taking any trip when I was free and 17; and it still is for me at 49, happily married, with a great son! Its a free resource, and they can provide a lot of security for very few if any $. Give em a try on your next road trip! I know you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Excellent
April 22, 2017

My exhaust fell and the aaa driver rehung it on the spot so I didn't need to go to the shop quite yet. I wanted to collect more parts before I did so this is extremely convenient for me.

HEY AAA SUPPORT STAFF THE MINUTE YOU TELL ME YOU ARE NOT LISTENING I DEFINITELY AM NOT. IT IS One of the rudest things a support person can say. Since when does AAA not provide road service to a car whose membership has been covered for 26 years. A mysterious phone call that was obnoxious beyond belief. No it is not the car it is the person that is covered. I do not break down my car does. No I have to stand by the car. I can not have a son or a handyman or a gas station attendant. Finally got a normal person on the phone. Thank you tiara.

Dont Worry... Be Happy!
September 6, 2016

I have been a member with this org. From day one! At the age of 15; having to pay for my first vehicle and AAA coverage. Now, twenty five years later and a Commercial Pilot, still maintain the policy with insurance. Having to recall the number of unexpected and adverse weather conditions for towing, battery replacement and other services are well worth the Price!

Love AAA
January 10, 2016

We've been AAA members for over 20 yrs and wouldn't be without it. We used it last night at our favorite restaurant and always receive 10% discount so that alone pays for the yearly charge. When we got to our Az house in Phoenix in Nov. My wife's stored Toyota Highlander was a little hard starting and within a few days it wouldn't turn over. I called AAA and their man arrived and before towing checked out the 7 yr old original battery and showed me that was our problem. I asked where I could have a battery installed and to my surprise AAA has a traveling van service that installs a new one right in our garage, He arrived in 20 mins and had the car fixed and a printout showing before and after charging results and a very reasonable price. We were totally impressed and our new battery has a 3 yr free replacement! Gotta love great service!

Disappointed recently
December 31, 2015

My husband and I have been long term members of AAA Roadside services. We haven't needed the service for many years until recently. We needed a tow to a repair shop, and we were given a timeline of 90 minutes. After two hours passed, we called back, and were told all times were approximate and it would be another two hours. This was a beautiful sunny day, no bad weather to deal with or anything. Very, very disappointed.

My dad signed me up for AAA when I got my first car and kept paying it. I didn't realize I had it until I got a flat tire at the wrong time. I was on the highway when my tire front tire blew out and of course it was raining that day. I don't know the first thing about changing a tire after calling my dad he told me to contact AAA. Luckily I have a AAA card with my registration so I called them right away. They were extremely helpful and very comforting the lady even stayed on the phone with me while she contacted my mom on the other line to let them know that everything was OK and the truck was on the way. The truck arrived within 25 minutes told my car off the highway to a safe location and change the tire for me all the while requesting if they wanted to wait for my dad to show up if it made me feel more comfortable. What should've been a horrible nightmare for me was actually pleasant and comforting. I would recommend AAA to anyone and everyone I know definitely worth every single penny!

Good customer service
October 10, 2015

When I realized on my car insurance renewal that I have been overcharged I called the office in Denver. They were not a big help but then I got connected to an office which I think was in PHX, Arizona and that person got right on it so I would get my refund. The agents name was Jonothan Echols. I already had shopped around for another insurance but was so pleased his customer service that I decided to stay with AAA. Hopefully if I ever have an issue I get to deal with Jonathan Echols again. I hope all agents would be like him

Customers helped
August 11, 2015

Being in the collision repair business I've had more and more customers covered by this insurance company. I must say that AAA's proceedures have improved alot and they treat their customers and repair shops with top notch service. I'm glad to deal with this company on my customers behalf because I know I will get what I need to bring that vehicle back to "pre-accident condition"

I use AAA for my car insurance. They are cheaper than the other major providers and their staff on the phone is much friendlier, especially with respect to claims.

I am not a member to AAA but do appreciate the "plan your trip" section of thier site. I recently used it to plan a road trip from Denver, CO to Virginia. Good times! The site provided great suggestions of places of interest, which I added many of them to my trip, and gave me ideas of other things to reserch and add.

Definetly a good tool to add to the tool belt of road trip planning.

I experience in detail:
When I started reaserching "things to do," it was a short list because I am not firmiliar with the Mid-West to the East Coast. Being a Vegas/Hawaii born and raised doesnt allow room for that area of the contenient. SO, I put in my starting location and ending location hoping for some assistance. And BOOM! Things I have always wanted to see and do came up, along with things I never thought of doing but was interested.

Ended up going to St. Louis and riding the rollar coaster elevators to the top of the Arch. A stop to tour Graceland had to be deleted due to extra time being spent in St. Louis -good times. Then onto Nashville where live blues was seeping through the brick buildings and roads. Then onto the Great Smoky Mountains! Beautiful!

That was the end of the "site seeing" part of the road trip and it was onto the destination at hand, Virginia. My new home.
