I bought the top-of-the-line Seatcraft 7000. The couch is extremely uncomfortable and poorly built. Leather is only on the upper sections of the seats. Vinyl ripped open due to the friction between each seat caused by reclining the Chaise lounge section. My wife hates this couch. Whoever designed the recline mechanism must not be of standard normal human size proportions because the couch does not fit the body well. Beware.
I have three chairs, of which 2 do not work. They sent a repair guy, after sending a DIY kit (yes, we have the warranty…they are also BRAND NEW). Repair guy says "Sorry, you need to call them as this is not fixable".
So…we called…AND CALLED…AND CALLED. A lot of excuses and empty promises. Richard, the manager, (ext 127. Sadly I know it off of the top of my head) does not return calls…it will always be another excuse. Inexcusable.
Come get the chairs. If you cannot provide the product you state, then stand by the company you claim to be.
Save yourself a lot of wasted time and energy and go to a local store and pay your 5k there.
Not worth the wait, I can't review the produce because I am still waiting. It was delivered to Chattanooga 3 days ago after waiting over a week and now it will be 3 weeks until I get it... I live one hour away. I paid $200 for white glove delivery so I can wait 3 weeks for 2 chairs. I would cancel my order but its a 30% charge plus freight... are you kidding me? I also paid for the extended warranty which I'll probably get screwed on that too. Total price for 2 chairs is $2700 and I have a very bad feeling about this. Buy from Costco or somewhere more reputable.
Horrible customer service, Amanda from JB hunt (their delivery company) was rude and unhelpful on phone. They originally delivered a broken chair and and upon replacing they refused to haul away the original chair. Very unprofessional to leave customer with costs associated with removing their faulty furniture.
I give them one star b ecuase they did refund my money I placed an order with them in January 2021 for 2 rows of 4 black leather seat craft was told that I would receive them in April the ones I really; liked wouldn't arrive until June so I took seat craft to get them by April well April came and nothing I called they said its been moved to may 28th ship date I said ok well the week of may 28th I called they said yes will be shipping on the 28th nothing no tracking info no phone call so I called them now I am being told that it will be end of June because they are having problems with customer at Long Beach ca I ask what would they be coming from the port of Long Beach when the website says they are made in la Habra California I was told they no longer make them there now they are made in Indonesia I called another company got the same lok that I wanted excellent quality and had swivel try on each seat and led lighting on upholds and underneath which wasn't an option on the seat craft seating saved 3000 got them in 5 days thanks for wasting my time for 5 months with no communication unless I called to confirm the false shipping dates I was given I don't know if I would have ever got them
I would not recommend them at all. I ordered seats worth 5800+ with white glove delivery on January 8th and they said it was shipped the same day.
It's been almost a month and their delivery company has not contacted me regarding delivery. Their customer service company has no accountability regarding the same other than saying that delivery company will contact me.
I feel cheated by their sales guy (Zack) who has also washed off his hands and their delivery partners (roadRunners, JB Hunt). They behave as if they do not have any accountability and it is as if the entire responsibility is with their delivery partners (with whom I have no contact).
I just heard today that they lost part of the shipment in transit. They have zero remorse and do not even feel sorry about the delay, and conveniently use the excuse of pandemic.
If it was any other professional company they would have taken the accountability and made sure they items were delivered in time and as promised and may have even compensated for the delays.
It was a big mistake going to 4seating.com for my purchase. I have requested them to refund me for the items lost in transit and deliver the remaining seats. Will update if I hear anything from them.
They shouldn't get 1 star. I will take time to go on every possible website I can find to state how horrible the service is. We will also be doing a complaint with BBB. We have spent $5500 on furniture and it came damaged back in September. We have called the each month 3 times or so no results just promises. It is now December. So much for customer service is their number one priority.
Two websites down let's see how many more I can do.
I called the company when the sofa came with a hole in the side. Angela told me to accept the order and they would replace the part. I did so and discovered two days later when I called back for a status update that the replacement wouldn't come for another 3 months (this was after the original order took 4 months to arrive). Had I known this, I would have refused the order and looked elsewhere.
Actually, it took two follow-up calls because I got conflicting information about whether an order for the replacement panel had even been placed--which seems a strange thing for a company to get wrong the first time I ask.
As for the length of time, they kept telling me the delay was due to the fact that it was a "custom" order. They couldn't explain what that meant. These are standard parts on a commoditized sofa (you see other brands selling the same thing on other websites). I didn't order anything other than the standard options on the site.
Regardless, my problem isn't so much that it's going to take so long to get the replacement panel, it's that it would have been nice to have all of the information before I ordered, or even before I accepted the damaged sofa. When I complained about the lack of information regarding the part (not the length of time itself, but the lack of information about it), Angela's response was: "Then you shouldn't have ordered a custom sofa." This is despite saying just prior that this delay for the replacement panel would have been just as long for any sofa they sell. Again, I still don't know what makes a sofa custom and standard for them.
You can find their style of sofa cheaper elsewhere. I chose 4aeating because I read good reviews on their service. I might have just had an unusual experience, but their service was lacking for me.

I ordered 2 weeks ago. At same time I ordered a bed from a different company. The bed in getting delivered tomorrow. I haven't got anything from 4 seating. After 45 minutes on wait the csr said it won't be coming until January. 45 minutes of life Ill never get back again!

I had some issues getting my sofa and loveseat delivered, but Lynn (customer service manager) contact me personally and worked through the problem until it was resolved! And boy was it worth it! I LOVE my sofa and loveseat. They are so comfortable and luxurious! I can't recommend them enough! Thank you, Lynn!
I bought my sofa and loveseat two weeks ago, and the communication by the company regarding my order is nil. First I called to see why I was told it shipped when in fact, they were out of stock. Then I ordered something else in stock, and was told it would be shipped the next day. The delivery to the warehouse has been delayed twice, but of course no one has contacted me. I've called with no response back.
My order was 5k and the chairs shipped to me with the white glove install service. The guys who built the chairs did a great fast job and nothing was screwed up by them. As a super sized 4xl man the 3 chairs I ordered side by side were the "Big and Tall Brown Leather ATHENIAN 7000 POWER STRAIGHT ROW OF 3". THIS CHAIR IS MASSIVE AND AWESOME. 4Seating steered me right on this! The leather is true leather and exceptional. The leather feels as good as high end luxury car leather. Only ding was when my highly optioned charos arrived there were no chargeable tables I had ordered. When I called immediately, not being happy, they assured me I would get the missing 3 tables with chargers Aug 15 and I got them! WOW, TRUE TO THEIR WORD AND BEAUTIFUL. So in my case they get a 5 star rating! IF YOU ARE SUPER LARGE person BUY THE ATHENIAN MODEL! II AM OLDER AND TAKING PICTURES FOR THE INTERNET IS OVER MY PAY SCALE! I would give the chairs a 10 if they offered it. I never give reviews but I was scared as it was over 5k in the initial order but 4Seating performed! I hope you have the same experience.

Hi my name is Tara C Pathak order through Clara Hinojosa she took my order nicely. What for delivery I called first time she called back but Andrew not satisfied with his response. She told me that the delivery person will call me hour before arrive. Yesterday got my delivery when I received the call from delivery person he I am outside front of my house but kind of service is that I am 56 year old how can I take it myself. Horrible and disaster service

Worst buying experience ever. Got notice of purchase... PERIOD. Then crickets. Customer Svc very responsive, personable... BUT... being told... it is... it's not... then it will be shipped... then it's not. No notification of delay or back order status. Nope. Check in another month.

My husband seen these seats on line and had to have it. So i called and Andrew did a quote for me first i would like to say that i wanted all leather and the set i wanted was not leather and he advise me of that love him for that. When i ordered he gave me the $200 discount plus went to his supervisor and got me another $100 off. Now on the call he advise me they were out of stock and that it should be in and i will get it by the first. I order on 6/3/20 and it is 7/11/2020 still have not gotten itbut it has shipped, Now let talk about shipping every other company used trucks to ship why they use a train it is Coming from CA i live in GA why they advise me it takes 7 days for it to get there states you didn't have to pay for shipping but i paid $400 for white glove you telling me that is not any price for shipping with that. So now they use a company called Echo to ship very nice customer service. And JB Hunt to deliver. None of this was advise to me when i purchased i thought they send it by fed usps ups dhl i don't know then they will get to there company. So when 4seating sent me my shipping info i shows a delivery of 7/3 so i called them and ask what time they state that i have to contact jb hunt to find out now who are they the white glove company ok. So i call them to set up a time they advise me to call back on the 5th because they won't know until they get it mind you i know they are closed on the 4th but the 3rd also. So on the 5th i call them they do not have my order as of yet so i am thinking that they have not scanned it in. So i wait for the 6th they state they still don't have it so i call echo and they don't have it either. So i called 4seating to advise them of this do you know i was told off by the customer service advising me i don't know what i am talking about. I am done i advise them i was going to give them a bad review. I said all this to say please if you want this set google it because i know you can purchase it from somewhere else but they service is bad just bad

4Seating promises around purchasing and shipping are extremely misleading. Sure, we did receive notice that our products "shipped " in 24 hours after purchase, but we did not expect to actually receive our theatre chairs 4 weeks later. The chairs shipped from a California warehouse to a logistics operation. Days later they left for transport to Dallas, Texas. According to the tracking, they were in transit for 10 days. Then the chairs went from Dallas to Houston (after sitting in Dallas for 4 days). They arrived in Houston, and sat at another logistics outfit warehouse. Then they were picked up by the "white glove delivery/assembly service we paid an additional $175 dollars for. That service took two to three additional days to get us "scheduled and routed on a truck for delivery." We finally received our chairs almost 4 weeks after spending nearly $5k. Additionally, the trays that came with our chairs were damaged in transit. We spoke to customer service the day of delivery, and they advised that replacement trays would be shipped. We received the replacement tray tables 3 months later. We are very happy with our theatre seating, and how they completely upgraded our media room. But the customer service of 4Seating is so poor and substandard, we will never buy anything from them again. Buyers beware! Keep track of your order number, PO numbers, and other tracking information. You will need all of it in order to get your purchase from the point of origin into your home.

I have yet to receive our chairs but at this point the shipping method is absolutely horrible. Once it is out of 4seating hands it becomes a mess. I received a message with a tracking number telling me the date I would receive the product so my wife stayed home from work. As the day got late I called the shipper and WOW I got the rudest woman on the phone who was working from home which sounded like she was in a cave. After not letting me speak she basically yelled out that I had to make an appointment to get my order ( First time I had even heard of this). The appointment is for five days later than the orginal tracking date. I'll let you know how it goes then.
Ordered this on Monday 4/20 after speaking with Zachary from Seatcraft. Wife and I originally had our sights set on the Europa, but Zachary suggested the Anthem as its made of top grain leather where as the Europa is made of gel leather. Same features on both and not much difference in price for a much better material. It was great advice which we followed.
I placed the order and Zachary told me the item will ship on 4/21 to a local mover near me and they would contact me in a day or two after they received it to schedule delivery. I opted not to do the white glove service as I'm handy with assembling furniture, and Zachary said that although the couch was heavy, the backrests were not attached and could be carried individually, two people should be able to manage carrying the base. Based on that guidance, I went with curbside drop. If I can offer advice: For the love of God and all that is holy, do NOT do curbside delivery. The couch is incredibly heavy. If your situation requires carrying the couch up or down stairs, pay the 199 bucks and have them do the heavy work. I wound up hiring local movers last minute to come and move it. Also, the love seat comes wrapped in lots of cardboard and is placed on a large wooden pallet. The driver did not take the pallet, so I had the fun of breaking down the pallet into a whole bunch of pieces to ensure it fit inside the trash bins (we have strict trash/recycling requirements here). Had I done the white glove service I would not have had to mess with all of that. So again - buy the white glove service, totally worth it.
About the delivery schedule itself, remember I said Zachary told me to expect a call from the delivery company? That never happened. Dude just arrived on Wednesday 4/22 and I was totally unprepared. It made for a long and inconvenient afternoon sitting outside guarding my new couch chillin on the sidewalk while waiting for last minute hired movers to arrive. So not very happy about the delivery experience.
Couch itself: Pretty comfortable and enjoy it a lot. But some annoying small defects. 1. Seam on back of couch has a two inch defect where the threads are frayed/missing. 2. The leather is sagging where it should sit flush and tight under the center power console (on fold out middle table). 3. The post that secures the armrest table into the armrest kept popping out, making the table unusable.
Warranty support and customer service is great. They answered the phone on the first call and kept in close communication with my by e-mail. For issue 1, they are sending me a new seat back (will take few weeks but I'm ok with that). For issues 2 and 3, they provided me guidance by e-mail on how to fix myself. Very simple and quick fixes. If you can use a screw driver, you can fix these issues in under 5 minutes.
Also, if buying made in the USA is important to you, then you may be unhappy. Although Seatcraft appears to be a U.S. owned and operated company, it appears my recliner couch was made in Vietnam (as per the manufacturer label affixed to the bottom of my couch). Not a show stopper for me.
Overall, its a very good product, quite comfortable and the accessories are very nice. Some shoddy workmanship on the finishing touches are frustrating, but their warranty support and quick response has been very good. The delivery service could have been better, but I realize they outsource that part. Had the delivery experience been better, I would have rated at 5 stars. Overall, this is a great company to do business with, and I would buy furniture from them again.
I will never purchase anything from 4Seating again because they charged me a extra $100.00 delivery fee because know one could be home when they wanted to deliver.

Customer's agree on the delivery date and time with the freight carrier. When a delivery appointment is cancelled by the customer, the freight carrier will charge a re-delivery fee due to transportation costs and loading/unloading the freight twice.
