Bidding was easy, Little confused about the "free shipping". When the customer is excited to find something they have been looking for the last 6 mo. The free shipping doesn't encourage you to read fine print. It pulls you into bid. After you make a purchase under $500 and realize you do not qualify for free shipping it's too late to back out of your purchase. The charge for my shipping was fine, but if I had purchased a heavy sculpture or something super delicate that required special shipping instructions resulting in extraordinary fees exceeding the cost of my item, I would have been unable to back out of the sale. I am not one who could spend $500 or more on a piece, but I still am enamored with many artists and their works. Thank you for the opportunity to share my thoughts. This is my first purchase with 1st Dibs and so far I am 99.5% thrilled.
1stDibs is ALWAYS the best! Ia've been a buyer for several years and have never had one problem. They stay on top of every order and make sure that the buyer is happy. 1stDibs is a pleasure to deal with!
Many of my favorite paintings and drawings have been purchased on 1stDibs. My Nº 1 go-to online shopping for art.

Technical difficulties all afternoon. Your website should not lock into old data during sale. When payment appeared an old address appeared next to PayPal logo which was updated on your site and no longer on PayPal website, and change was not accepted so the next screen would not update. The order canceled. It now worked 7 hrs later.
Great selection of everything from a crystal match box to a 5 metre stuffed crocodile. The bidding and communication process is simple and intuitive. But do be cautious about shipping expenses which are sometimes just a bit crazy.
Everything on 1st Dibs site is beautiful...and I've had excellent experiences with receiving the items I've purchased.

Never received a pendant approx. #4,000) UPS never delivered, showed fake photos of my address of a home and I live in a condo. Never want delivery by UPS
