Verified purchase

Ordered two aluminum fidget toys advertised as pre-orders for a new collection shipping "end of May." Waited my month, May 30th order was labeled "shipping in 1 day." May 31st, "shipping in 1 day." June 1st? Yep- "shipping in 1 day." It's now June 3rd. "shipping in 1 day." No notifications of delays. No "sorry we're jerking you around like a failed Kickstarter." NOTHING.

It is now June 7th. No response from Flipoflip's help email address. No communication whatsoever.

Avoid like plague, this is obviously a scheme to fleece people with promises never meant to be fulfilled.

Ordered a DVD from Wal-Mart, "fulfilled by MovieMars." Except it wasn't fulfilled. I was jerked around for two weeks, finally contafcted them to be told "Sorry, there was an error at our warehouse. It shoud ship in the next week or so." They have been told to cancel the order and refund my money ASAP. Avoid this scam, plain and simple.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't. Save yourself the headache.

Decent (not excellent) shirt, decent (not excellent) shipping. Was lucky to get my order however, checked out as guest with PayPal which filled in my address as countless other times at other places- and somehow TeShirtPalace ignored my apartment number and left it off the shipping label.

Mediocre experience, won't be bothered with them again as there are plenty of competent business out there capable of getting a simple address correct.

Tip for consumers:
Be wary, they left the apartment number off my package- if not for an on-the-ball mail carrier I wouldn't have received it.

Ordered a wool longcoat, size XL. They sent me a coat far too small with no size tags, measuring the shoulders and waist showed it to be an M. They then tried to bribe me with a refund and keep the coat "If you change your review to 5 stars or take it down." Took the review down, got my money, now posting an honest review of the sleazy shoddy business. That's their scam, straight up buy reviews to hide how bad they are plain and simple.

Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time and money unless you really like gambling.

Ordered a T-shirt, was told to expect a confirmation email. Haven't gotten said email. Notified customer service, they said they resent it-still no confirmation email. They ask for an alternate address- what, the one you're emailing me at from CS that works fine isn't good enough for you? So they confirm my order's in progress, but STILL can't seem to figure out how to send a confirmation email to the address they're using to reply to me. Competence level- quite obviously low. Debating any further orders, not fond of people who do business online but can't figure out a simple email. Makes me nervous. Sitejabber is asking for Proof of Purchase- HELLO, that's the problem, they won't send me any!

Tip for consumers:
See if you can find you want somewhere else- less risky.

Products used:
Got a decent T-shirt in a previous order, still waiting on a second where they can't even be bothered with order confirmation.

Spotted a t-shirt I liked, bookmarked it. 2 months later when money was better, ordered it. They then immediately cancelled the order and refunded my money with some nonsense about not being licensed for the product which they HAD BEEN SELLING FOR MONTHS.

Total waste of time, and the losers won't even delete my unwanted account- just keep insulting my intelligence with garbage about "looking forward to delighting me with great products in the future." Yeah, not gonna happen. Fool me once, shame on you- fool me twice, shame on me. You only get one chance to make a first impression, and they made theirs by cancelling my first and only order.

Tip for consumers:
Don't.

None, they cancelled my only order.

Card getting denied with no explanation, fight around for 20 minutes (on a prepaid phone) going through multiple mandatory messages, repeatedly told where to go in the menu to check balance which I don't need, finally get to "transferring you to a customer service agent" only to be told "We have a very high call volume, please call later." Up theirs, useless buggers

EDIT: 25 calls later, still nothing but the same response: "We're experiencing high call volume, call later." Utter thieving garbage and I can't access my money. There's a special place for companies like this.

Tip for consumers:
Get a bank account and go Direct Deposit into that, Direct Express is worse than useless. Unless you WANT to be randomly denied access to your own money in which case sure, whatever floats your boat.

Ordered a set of heavy duty toenail clippers. Product fine, shipping fine, but be wary- once you click order, they run you through about 4 pages of "Would you like to add [extra product] at a discount?" pages all of which have huge Yes buttons, but small harder to spot "No thanks" links buried deep at the bottom in an obvious effort to try and get you to pile on more items. And the products vary- the SwissKliip Heavy Duty is a good piece of work, while the SwissKlip 360 borders on a bad joke. Be aware precisely what you're buying, and don't let them "oops" you into upgrading your order to multi-packs or things you don't want.

Tip for consumers:
Some good products, some not so much, be cautious navigating site.

After 2 purchases unremarkable except for complete lack of notifications that order was received, shipped, or delivered, ordered an extra watch strap. Got something that only barely resembled the description and photos of what I ordered. Have mailed Customer Service 4 times over a 5 week span now, and gotten no reply except automatic "Thank you for contacting us" letters. They obviously care not the slightest once they've got your money and have no interest in support after the sale. Avoid them fastidiously, there are watch companies out there that actually care about their customers unlike Timex.

Tip for consumers:
Buy elsewhere- no support or even contact after the sale here. None whatsoever.

Great product, everything else about the experience questionable at best.

Ordered and got a watch. If not for PayPal payment receipt would never have known the order was accepted. No notice of item shipping sent. After order placed used "create account" option, added a password, no record of the account even existing. Attempts to send email and get a password reset get me nothing. I guess it's lucky I got the watch, not like they made any effort at all to keep me posted of the process though.

Tip for consumers:
You pay your money and you take your chances, they give no notifications of anything whatsoever. Good watches, decent pricing, garbage service.

Ordered an older hard-to-find CD, got a quick turnaround and the disc arrived in quite decent shape considering used. Not a makr on the disc, jewel case exterior intact, all labels booklets and liner notes present. Only issue was the retaining fingers to hold the disc in place were broken off- every last one, with only one inside the case thus they didn't come off in transit but were mostly gone before the item was labeled and taped up for in-store sale. Annoying but I'll take it, the important bits are all good. No complaints about Vinyl Renaissance here.

Tip for consumers:
Large vinyl and CD music inventory.

Ordered two music CDs. Free shipping... if i ever get them. Only one even got a PayPal payment acknowledgement, and only one of the two (separately made) purchases shows up under my account but both have gotten "order shipped" emails. No idea when/if they'll arrive, as no tracking information whatsoever was provided. No tracking information exists on their web site, where only one of two purchases is listed under my account. And when I emailed support about this lack of tracking information on February 8th I received an auto-response which includes the line "We are now on a short break for the Christmas period but endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours of our return, which is December 28th. " Maybe they didn't even come back 6 weeks ago and I'm just getting bot responses? Won't be doing any more business here, that's for certain. Assuming I've done any... maybe I've just been had, I can't tell.

UPDATE: This review got me a quick response, with two tracking numbers. It is now the 13th of February, the orders left WorldOfBooks (so they say) on the 3rd and 4th, and the USPS hasn't seen either one. WorldOfBooks' review monitor's response has been to tell me to sit and wait. My email to their actual contact address was responded to WELL AFTER the review site team was all over it- a hallmark of companies that know they're running a scam and don't want word getting out. Avoid this outfit like it's a plague carrier, you'll be happier.

FINAL WORD: Never saw my CDs, was given a refund after threatening to file a dispute with PayPal. Until said threat, kept getting "Just be patient and wait" type responses. Sticking with above assessment, avoid this site and you'll be much happier.

Tip for consumers:
Run in the other direction, don't go near this place. You'll be sorry.

Products used:
The only thing I used was their lackluster customer service after their "shipping partner" kept the CDs I ordered for themselves rather than turning them over to the Post Office for delivery. This assumes they were actually shipped, which I cannot verify- I can only assume that Rebecca was giving me valid information. Either way, I never got anything but trouble and a refund.

Bought 2 books, "as new" condition rating, delivered in reasonable time and in decent condition. No noticeable blemishes, no torn/folded pages, covers in good shape. Waiting on a second order and looking forward to another decent experience.

Tip for consumers:
Seen complaints about book quality ratings and missing dust jackets. They're USED, for crying out loud. You want new, pay more somewhere else. The prices are great and the books I've gotten were intact, what more do you want?

Went looking for slippers based on an ad I saw online. Their selection looks great... if you wear a size 8,13, or 14 which seem to be the only thing not marked "out of stock" or "notify me" and even those you have to take what style they have the sizes in. It's like digging through a store Christmas eve after the place is stripped picking through the 3 or 4 items that are left. Sad.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother, they don't seem to stock merchandise. Just a pretty web site.

Products used:
Ended up looking at their web site and concluding they have nearly no products to sell. Guess I'll take my money and business elsewhere, not sure why they're even online with nearly no stock and no selection.

Ordered 3 items. 2 shipped, no word on third except "Order Partially Fulfilled." Emailed Customer Service, auto-response says 1 to 2 business day reply time. 3 business days later, still no response. Update claim from information request to "Cancel remaining order and refund." Finally get response IGNORING refund request and saying they'll "Check with the warehouse and get back to me." Have replied demanding the refund they seem to be resisting. Great shirts... if you get them Customer Service sucks though, be cautious.

Tip for consumers:
Watch out for Customer Service. What you do get is excellent, but be wary because if something goes wrong, they seem to ignore your requests and just tell you how they're going to handle it. Suggest being wary with "My Mountain" products where you choose your preferred color, "The Mountain" take what you see shirts seem to ship and arrive fine.

Cheshire Cat T-shirt, Shark Mouth face mask.

Order placed November 15th. Item listed as "Ships in 1-4 days." 7 days later told "Still processing." But they took my money, just didn't ship anything. November 30th Customer Service said they'd "look into and get back to me shortly." December 1st, with no response, demanded a refund. As quickly as they processed that, it's obvious what they spend most of their effort doing: coughing up money for unfilled orders.

EDIT: No wonder, they're a true scam. Go to The Mountain or Liquid Blue, the actual makers of the shirts Clothing Monster sells- lower prices, better service, and no bovine excrement.

Tip for consumers:
They sell shirts made by The Mountain and Liquid Blue, each of whom have their own web sites with lower prices and better service. The Mountain has free shipping with any purchase the cost of most shirts, while Clothing Monster charges 7 bucks flat for shipping shirts that cost more.
