Edited to add that Canvaschamp tried to bribe me to send a bigger canvas for free if I removed my 1 star reviews. This is considered bribery and illegal. Consumer reviews are protected by the CFRA, the fact that they can't uphold their false quality guarantee and lied multiple times during the proof process speaks volumes about them as a company, but then to offer to fix the problem only if I don't tell people what they did is unethical. Imagine all the great reviews they have- imagine if they are bribing all the negative reviews? How fair is that for consumers shopping with them? Absolutely disgusted.

ORIGINAL REVIEW Wish I could share a great review, because my first two orders with them were great. I placed them to review the quality. Then I went through the intricate process of setting my website product to dropship my artwork printed on canvas. My first custom order of the art I created came quickly. I submitted a 300PPI high resolution image, the proof looked great, I dropshipped it and my customer reached out with extreme disappointment and showed me the added text and graphics to my painting were completely blurred. They were pixelated and illegible. The rest of the image was fine. This was a gift for a friend, so I assured her I'd resolve it with the printer. I sent the info and image to them to ask how it was possible only parts of my image were affected. They simply offered a reprint. I said I would like to know the cause so the same file isn't sent to my customer. For 10 days I've begged for an answer. 10 days my customer has been sending emails asking "WHATS THE UPDATE?" How embarrassing. My reputation has been tarnished with her. They've simply offered to reprint and they sent me the same proof I reviewed when I submitted my first image. I informed them I would like to review the image of the actual print before its shipped to my customer so we don't have the same issue because they refused to tell me WHY or HOW the image printed this way. For 10 days I've begged them to please just let me review it. Finally they said they would yesterday, but then refused to tell me when. I asked "Can you tell me when?" I asked again to please just give me an ETA so I can reply to my customer. They replied and said "We are still waiting on the proof approval." What? Like they've never read my messages. So I clicked the original proof link and it was expired. Something they should have checked on. So I asked for a new link, they sent it this morning and ignored my request for an ETA on when the print would occur. So I've lost the complete profit from the design, and I've lost the first-time customer who purchased for a gift as she promptly decided to cancel her second order with me. I am sincerely devastated for my customer, my time, my financial loss and the horrible customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Don't trust the reviews, they tried to bribe me to remove mine

I purchased a years' worth of revolution for my dog and they sent 6 months instead. I emailed them four times and they ignored every email for a month. I ended up having to file a dispute with my bank. I guess it seems like a good deal until you get half of your order. Then you're paying double. I would have been very understanding if they would have replied and explained it was an error on their part and that they'd send the other half, but they simply ignored me. Will never order from them again.

In 2019 Dropbox advertised an "unlimited' storage plan, I reached out to confirm it was unlimited because as an artist and photographer, I have a large amount of data. At the time I had 3TB and was storing it on Google Drive. In a bid to win over Google customers, Dropbox falsely advertised unlimited storage. When I reached out to confirm if it was truly unlimited and if that would ever change, they said it would never change. I asked again and they confirmed. At that time I made the decision to take on the time consuming task of migrating my 3 Terabytes of data to Dropbox and purchasing their unlimited plan for $75USD a month. More than 6 times what I was paying Google, but the unlimited advertisement induced my decision as I knew I would be creating a lot more in the coming years. I paid this amount every month until they started taking more out without any advanced notice (as required by recurring payment laws). I reached out and they stated they overlooked it and apologized. Then, I received a notice that they would no longer offer unlimited and all customers they falsely advertised to and baited to switch from Google were now subject to incredible increases. For me, I have 14.3 TB. They said after 15, I'd have to buy increments of 5. When I reached out to complaint about the unethical business practices and breach of contract, they ignored my requests and simply copied and pasted the plan changes.
This illegal and false advertisement induced my purchase, had I known there was a possibility they would change their plan, I NEVER would have migrated my files and data to them. Now not only can I not afford to continue my storage, I have to seek another solution, pay for that which may cost thousands if I have to move to a server, and spend the time replacing all of my file links for tens of thousands of pieces of data. Dropbox knew when it advertised to potential consumers about an unlimited plan that it was unsustainable. Dropbox willfully induced thousands of US consumers to switch to their company promising an unsustainable plan it never intended to offer forever, but instead, promised, in writing, to do so. Dropbox harmed so many consumers who have been complaining for months on end about how they were baited and switched by this illegal tactic. Dropbox should be forced to refund every customer it hoodwinked so we can find solutions with the funds we would have otherwise invested in another solution. I strongly urge if you are a customer of Dropbox to file complaints with the California State Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission so they can investigate

I had several chargebacks on my website by fraudsters so I looked for an option to protect me. I moved from Square to Stripe to take advantage of the RADAR fraud system which seemed robust and worth the extra money. They do charge in addition to their payment processing fees. For instance, a $6.99 purchase costs me.61 cents. Almost 10% of my sale... With this steep fee, you'd think you're paying for a nice slice of the peace of mind pie, but you're not. I constantly have sales go through with risk scores at the HIGHEST level, or they have an address in a completely different state or country, the IP address doesn't match up, the IP address has multiple disputes associated with it, so you know what you have to do? Refund that purchase, and Stripe KEEPS ALL THE FEES. I have paid Stripe more for a service that is clearly not working consistently and logically. When you reach out to ask why these clearly fraudulent payments are going through, the customer services reps never know what to say. They just copy and paste help articles and never address the real issue. They are completely useless and uninformed. A most recent order: IP address located in Pennsylvania, billing address located in Maine (a vacant building) Bank located in West Virginia, Card was prepaid, 14 cards were associated with that IP address, 6 different emails, multiple disputes. With alll the red flags you don't even need software to identify, RADAR by Stripe assigned it a ZERO risk and RADAR let it go through for a large purchase over $150. I had to refund that purchase to avoid a dispute and sure enough, I confirmed it was fraud. After all my work, I had to pay all the fees to Stripe when refunding the customer to cancel the order. It feels like fraud is happening here, and more than from my customers. Advertising a service that fails and then refusing to fix it or address is is the definition of fraud. What an expensive mistake to invest in Stripe's Fraud software.

Tip for consumers:
Save your time and money and find another payment processor that won't take your money without delivering service.

  • Turn Me Royal

5/11/23

I am a consumer and independent artist who first learned of Turn Me Royal when they contacted me to try to get me to stop using a public domain image they were using. Public domain images are 90+ year old images that have entered the public domain and no longer copyrighted. They are free to use by anyone. This is what Turn Me Royal uses to create portraits. They have been doing so since May 2020. I have been doing so since 2011. So they find small businesses and artists and try to illegally get them to stop using images that are free to use. They even went to the lengths to file false DMCA take downs to try to get my products removed from the internet- DMCA take downs require an affidavit under both US and international law that under the penalties of perjury their claims are true. They claim they own the intellectual property rights of the work of Queen Victoria, painted in 1859. This work entered the public domain in the mid-1900s and copyright belongs to no one. But Turn Me Royal, also known as WonderRoyal is a Lithuanian based company, registered in Lithuania as MB Onsoftas, and they don't own public domain images. What they did is illegal and its disgusting. They are trying to destroy small businesses so they can remove competition. I have truly never experienced something so ruthless as a consumer, independent artists, completely and illegally attacked by a company. The listing they attempted to remove is being restored, because they CANT file fraudulent DMCA notices. It's also important to note that they are not based in CA. They list their address in California, but that is their drop shipping company's address (FoamCorePrint) they also use Printify. They are not registered nor located in the US. If you have received an illegal demand or DMCA notice from this company regarding your use of a public domain image, do not fall for it. File a counterclaim and get your item restored. Do not allow them to use illegal tactics against you

Tip for consumers:
I would not recommend using this site and supporting a company who uses illegal tactics to try to suppress competitors and small businesses. You can find hundreds of companies offering this same product and service. Support a business that isn't in the business of taking down other businesses.

Horrible customer service. They never reply. They sent only 2 of three dresses and then forced me to open a Paypal claim to get a response. After wasting tons of my own time going back and forth, they said they would help only if I closed the Paypal case, I refused, so they refused to respond or send my dress. Paypal said they can only restore me if I send the two dresses back to them on my dime to CHINA and once the company confirms receipt, which they likely won't, only then I can get my $387 back in total. What a loss, a waste and a sham.

This company is a vendor on Walmart.com They advertised a distressed barn door. We purchased it and when it arrived it was a completely different looking product. It looked painted dark brown versus stained, it was a solid color versus weathered and it had no distressed textures as advertised. I reached out to start the return process and they ignored me after requesting an image. It wasn't until I filed a complaint against them that they responded to my email stating "We just now sent a message to the warehouse"... the warehouse? For what? To approve a return? To look at photos? It's been 8 days since I requested a return, they've held my money hostage and refused to respond hoping I'll go away like it seems many of their other victims have. I have filed complaints with the BBB, FTC and Attorney General. Hopefully they will not be permitted to continue to perpetrate fraud through false advertising.

  • Wish

I reached out SEVERAL times to Wish.com regarding a seller selling my copyrighted images illegally. They literally ignored me. They have not responded to the BBB complaint and have allowed the guy to profit by selling stolen items-and of course, they're profiting, too aren't they? Would never recommend this thieving company to anyone.

  • AdWords

Cannot use any tools without paying for and creating an ad. You know, the tools that you use and need PRIOR to creating an ad? When you select their chat option, if you're not asking specifically about how to set up an ad, they tell you to fill out a contact form and never response. Its been MONTHS... waste of time.

  • FastTech

I purchased two E-leaf Basal Tanks advertised by Fast Tech as in stock. I checked and check and my items were not shipped. Nearly three weeks passed and I reached out. I was informed they never had the product they were advertising. In fact, I checked with the manufacturer and the item Basal Atomizer Tanks aren't even released or available. They have had my money for more than 3 weeks now after falsely advertising a product. This is theft and I strongly believe had I not contacted them, they would have intentionally kept my money. I still have not received a refund.

  • PeopleFinders

4/30/18

I selected a. 95 one time fee to display the owner of a phone. People finder provided a fake name that I validated through state and county databases and refused to provide a full report. I immediately realized I was scammed, and cancelled. They charged me $2.95 to cancel. I emailed them and KC responded stating I agreed to the charge when I opted for a 'free trial membership' I did not opt for the membership and have screenshots showing such. The $2.95 cancellation fee only applied to membership selections. They refused to refund. I found they also hide a "LIMITED GUARANTEE" on their site basically stating they can provide you inaccurate information and you still have to pay. I've filed complaints for false and deceptive advertising practices with the FTC, CFPB and BBB. I hope it was worth the $3, PeopleFinders, AKA Confi-Check!
