Based on the reviews, I was hesitant at first and I did get a bad order the first time I ordered. But customer service was kind enough to refund. From then on I'm careful when ordering and look through all the details mentioned in the description. The kitchen and other items are unique and good pricing too. Waiting for the shipment is no big deal for me... so I am very happy and satisfied with my purchases. I've ordered 12 times so far. Thanks.
The reviews I read that the product received was great was my first experience. Nice tops, good quality. So, sucked in, I ordered again. This time, the skirt was substandard fabric--very thin and sleazy, raw hem, inconsistent size. But, guess what--NO RETURN. No return even when product is not as pictured. So, avoid. You may get some quality items, but when you don't, you get to eat it. Zero star would be more appropriate.
I have not experienced the same quality issues that others have mentioned. The product I have received has always been of a high quality and standard. My biggest gripe with the site is the length of time they take to take my payment. I placed an order on 10/12 and only today, 10/29, has the amount been taken from my account. It's just really annoying. Because of this, I'll probably not used he site anymore. The site dies clearly state the delivery times, so although it's frustrating having to wait so long for the items you ordered, it should be expected.
In the last year I have ordered a hand bag, educational things for kids and several home decor items. Everything was as described and quality was better then what I expected. The handbag was nice heavy canvas with a good durable zipper, color was perfect. The only down side is it does take a while to get the order. Maybe that is because I am in Canada. Ordering tip... If I want several items I order just one (the smallest item) then put the rest on a second order so those will be shipped free. I will definitely continue to order from Zulily.
This company is like no other... I have received incorrect sizes which is the Company's fault and they refuse to give refunds. Not only do you incur the cost of return postage, you lose your money. They will only give you a credit which means you are forced to purchase from them. They also get your money the minute you place your order even though it may take 3 weeks or longer for you to receive your order. In my opinion, these policies should be illegal... Buy from someone who appreciates your business!
I ordered what looked like a really nice 5 piece picture, when I finally received it I could not believe it is basically 5 pieces of cardboard. They send you stickers to hang it on the wall. Are you serious, I will have to put another backing on them just so I can hang them properly without totally destroying my walls. This was my first and probably last time buying on line from zulily.
I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing on Zulily. Usually, small(ish) sites have higher prices than bulk retailers, but when I compared them they were as good as or better than at the larger stores. On the minus side, shipping speed is very slow, and the lack of a free shipping option (unless you've already purchased something that day) is definitely not competitive with the larger retailers. It's a good site provided you are not in a hurry for your items and you combine purchases to offset the cost of shipping.
Zulily has so many categories -from home storage to clothing for the whole family. Lots of name brands are offered at great prices. Needs to improve on shipping charges for every order, competitors offer free shipping for $$ amounts. A must to read review when they are included, especially on clothing-sizing is all over the place.
Everything I buy from Zulily is top quality. Whether it is an established name brand, or an up and coming style. It is always spot on. The collections that are offered together usually are shown with complimenting accessories. It's like having a secret stylist. Only, on my schedule. Some days, I don't get a chance to enjoy the Zulily sight until 10:30 at night. That's my me and my Zulily time. Talk about convenience.
I love Zulily. I love the daily surprises on this site. You never know what will pop up. Zu has great items at a discounted price. Shipping is much quicker than it used to be. If I ever have a problem with an order, the customer service is very good. Zu is my "go to" website.
First off I was very surprised after reading all the bad reviews since I placed two orders already and yes shipping is slow I ordered Nov. 2 got my order today nov. 21 but when I opened my package it was perfect! I received all my items which were packaged properly abd I saved over $100 dollars if not more because I did price compare and well i highly recommend this site great deals great items and I cant wait till my next package arrives :)
I have been shopping at Zulily since June 2011. Since then I have placed 20 orders so far. I mostly shop for my 4 & 1/2 yr old daughter (clothes, shoes, books, toys). Out of all the orders placed so far, Zulily cancelled only one for unavailability. But then they made up for it by offering me a $ 10 store credit. One of my recent orders was for a handbag, They sent me a wrong style. I complained via email. They responded promptly by refunding the full price of the bag. Plus they offered me a $ 10 store credit by way of an apology & also let me keep / donate the bag that I'd received. All the stuff I ordered so far were all excellent quality. No regrets at all. I found them very professional in their customer service. I do wish though the shipping was faster. But I guess thats how it works for flash sales sites. I just plan ahead & order a size up. I do not order stuff I may need soon. I will continue to shop at Zulily & also recommend this site to my friends.
I am done with Zulily. I have placed so many orders with them, some have gone well but several have not and I will not give them another dollar. They messed up an order at Christmas time and I was stuck trying to figure something else out and they've done it again with Mother's Day. They think it's okay to cancel items after the order was placed weeks prior and then just put a $10 credit on your Zulily account so you can turn around and spend even more money with them! That is not good service and it is a joke. This company cannot be relied on with things like gifts because the order will most likely get messed up or show up too late.
Many customers have complained about the slow shipping times, but that is the way their site works and how they get lower prices. I always pay attention to the approximate shipping date when ordering and Zulily is good about meeting that date 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time, they will send me an email letting me know an item is taking longer than expected and they give me an option to cancel my order at that point if I want. I have had a couple things arrived damaged or they just plain cancelled because they ran out of stock, which was a bummer, but they always refund me AND credit my account with $10-$15 for the inconvenience. I shop there way too much!
I've ordered a number of items from Zulily. I ALWAYS read the size chart posted and I almost always have to order a size up according to the measurements. If I fall between two sizes, I ALWAYS order the larger one. Even so, the clothing almost always doesn't fit or is way too tight. I'm done buying clothes from them unless I know the brand from other stores.
I've had better luck with non-clothing items.
And, yes, shipping takes forever, but that's kind of their deal and they explain all of that very clearly on the website. The return policy stinks, especially because the clothing they send does not adhere to the size chart measurements given. However, I did have one positive interaction of cancelling an item before it shipped, so there is that.
I am absolutely ADDICTED to Zulily! I visit the website every single day to see what new items they have. I am very well aware of the "fine print" such as no returns, extended shipment dates, etc., but due to the long length of time I have been a shopper with them, I am very willing to take the chance. The prices are great and I get something different so I'm not wearing the same thing as everybody else is. I absolutely recommend it to all online shoppers. Any website has its own problems with deliveries but that is really rare. The products are definitely worth the taking the chance!
The prices and pictures of the products are deceiving. I honestly believe all the companies and stores are legitimate. But they sell all their defective and damaged products through Zulily website. These clothes, shoes, and products are most likely the irregulars during the production process. Rather than dispose them, they are up to the minimal standards to be SOLD. It's the Lemon Law for clothes; AS IS. We good folks work very hard and trying to find good prices for our families but a no return policy is too much of a gamble.
Anyways I purchased a beautiful maxi dress, it was so long and wide, two people could fit inside. I'm stuck. Now waiting on another order I placed. Very disappointed :(
I love Zulily. I go there first when I need something for my home, office, myself or my kids. Prices are always excellent. Unfortunately they usually take about 3 weeks to deliver. So if you are in a hurry find what you want and then see if they are doing fast ship on that item. Today I got a king sized comforter for $20.00 in about 5 days. That was a great deal any way you look at it.
Thus far, my first experience with your company has been bad. I ordered over a month ago and have yet to receive anything. You reached out with facebook messenger a few times, stating my items were shipped, on the way, etc... then 2 days ago I was refunded for part of my order. Got another message today stating my items should be here today. I hope the quality surpasses the order/ship time and I get an explanation soon as to why my order's been partially refunded.

Answer: I have never ordered shoes from them but I agree that they likely vary according to brand. Contrary to other comments (that I am very suspicious of...) I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

Answer: It could be a week or it could be 3 months. But my advice would be not to order at all. The sizes are never right (a small may fit someone that wears a large or it may be too small for an infant) and the quality sucks (the fabric on a dress I bought is so thin you can see through 4 layers). STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

Answer: Let me just put this out there. The people who bought things from Zulily (and are unhappy with their purchases), probably didn't research the brand before they bought it. Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it. I hope this helps.
