I have been shopping with Zulily for almost 10 years. I love the variety and typically the quality. I am confused by why only a certain number of items can actually be added to the shopping cart when it appears you have added more. Where do those extras go? Is it 29 or 49? These are real questions!
I started I ordering nov. 21,2013. I placed about 6 or 7 ordered in two weeks. It is now dec 13 and I just got the first item. That is ridiculous in this day and times when products are delivered in two days time. I stopped ordering a week ago when I realized they DRAG on shipments. I needed to ship these gifts to different people and now I'm screwed! What's the point? They say guaranteed Christmas delivery nut when you order in late Nov you think - of course it's gonna get here by Christmas but now I'm seriously doubting it. Some of my items won't even ship til Dec 20! That is just absolutely unacceptable.
Learn what they do and how they do it which is on every page before you put the item in your cart. I not only have had many excellent experiences but when their was a problem customer service took care of it quickly, efficiently, pleasant service and to my satisfaction. I have bought many, many items. Will gladly shop there again.
The fact you have to give your email address before entering the site should be warning enough. I read (or tried to) the very confusing and vague T's and C's which was a further warning. After reading reviews on here I'm so pleased I didn't pursue it, I've been caught out before with Just Fab shoes, I will be very wary of sites like this in future and will always research before committing. Thank you everyone for the warnings.
I haven't had as bad an experience as other people, that is, I've ordered from them a few times but haven't had anything I've needed to return. However, the person who said order things a size bigger because your children will have grown by the time you get it was spot on. Seriously, if they want to stay in business they've got to get it together to use another mail service. Expect to wait as much as five weeks for something to get to you. Cute stuff, expensive brands pretty cheap, but I just can't wait for stuff like this. I'd rather pay more and get it sooner. The shipping and handling charge is as much for other companies that ship within a day or two, and you get it within a week, such as Crazy 8.
DO NOT shop at this site! I ordered three pairs of shoes - all the same size. Two were too big and one was too small - none of them fit. When I called to ask about a return credit, I found they have a $5.95 fee for a shipping label and a $5.00 fee for restocking of each item. After all that work, I would end up with a very small store credit. My goodness... this should really be illegal. Of course, if you went to their information page, you might have been able to read the small print and figure this out. Unfortunately, l didn't do that or check this website beforehand. I personally could not even work for a company run this way but it appears to be the way things are going in this country...
Zulily might be ok for household items or things like a scarf or purse. Beware of buying clothing and especially shoes! You cannot return or exchange for credit at this online vendor. Angry that I am stuck with 3 pairs of shoes which I can't do anything with. Sizes are not true to fit.
My wife insists on continuing to order things from this company. Even though 1 out of every 3 orders sent are wrong, broken due to improper packaging, "lost in the mail", never received, or incorrect in some other way. It's insane. If my company screwed up this much we would be out of business.
What you order often doesn't look like what you saw. Then, incredibly, the order takes ONE MONTH to come. You will see Chinese writing on paper in the parcel that indicate it came straight from China, no US distributor. A slow boat from China. And try to return something. Ha. Don't dream of shopping here unless you're a glutton for punishment.
I have ordered quite a few items from Zulily. By far I have been happy with both the quality of the items and the prices. Shipping sometimes takes longer than expected. One time I ordered personalized items for 3 grandchildren and did not receive the sizes as requested. After I provided requested information the situation was satisfactorily resolved. Currently I am trying to resolve another problem. I ordered shoes in size 7.5 and received size 12 if you can believe it. Since this was their mistake I believe their shipping and handling fee should be waived once I return the shoes. I enjoy shopping via Zulily. I believe they can be trusted and have really good deals!
Love the site - unfortunately, 2 days after my purchases, my credit card was hijacked - had $1330 worth of transactions I never made! I informed Zulily in case they have a delinquent staff member stealing customers credit cards, or a security hole somewhere (i. E. hackers), but we'll see if they respond... in the meantime, I'm deleting my account! So disappointed :(
Buyer be well aware of fabrics, brands, sizes and retail prices. I've been burned by cheap fabrics and strange European sizes, specifically, Asian, too many times. I've gotten enough good deals' to continue to shop Zulily. One can now return some items, however, you'll be stuck with shipping charges. Also be aware that many items take weeks to arrive. For example, if you want something for Christmas, order NOW! If you order for a 6 month old child, they will have outgrown the outfit by the time it arrives. Some items, with a rocket emblem, do come a bit faster.
I've ordered from Zulily over the past several years. I've been able to find great products and good prices. I especially look for wide shoes. Only on two occasions that I've had to return items and was given a credit plus more to use on my next order. It does take longer at times for orders you come since sometimes they are shipped from overseas. My experience overall has been really good. I will continue to order from them.
I'm now beyond frustrated with Zulily. I buy things, and it says right on the item site that it should ship in 3-5 days or 5-7 days, but yet after I place the order I wait... and wait! They are now charging 8.99 for shipments that take, in reality, WEEKS to a MONTH to be delivered!
Also, when they claim to be having a "sale"--it's not true. The items are the exact same price as they've always been, for months! And don't get me started on the poor packaging and broken items I've received! This is NOT my favorite site--or even close!
My experience shopping over the years has been great. I love the way there is always something new in addition to the old (so if I missed it the last time it's back again). You can't beat their prices. Your prompt and excellent customer services, truly makes shopping with you guys enjoyable. Thank you.
I've had very few problems with Zulily. There are always great deals and adorable products. Occasionally I will get a dud, but I think that's due more to me not reading the reviews of how something fits. I've only ever had to contact customer service once, but when I did, it was easy and quick. They were very polite and helpful.
Several items did not survive their first wash. Seams ravel and split. Colors are off. There is no recourse to dissatisfaction. In a spree, I bought many items, believing in "bargain", but in the long run, I wasted money and suffered loss. I'm now converted to never order anything that has a no return policy. It's a rip-off to get stuck with inferior merchandise.
After waiting 3 weeks and still not receiving my purchase I cancelled it altogether and realized one very important thing as to why customers must wait in a very long time frame for their paid items: Being a retailer myself, there are numerous online sellers who order their products from overseas wholesalers, which by the way, have similar shipping times as zulily and others. The sellers such as zulily likely also must have a minimum amount of buyers to justify an overseas order since the wholesalers will often demand a minimum purchase. That said, the items peddled to unsuspecting buyers are often low-quality and marked up over 500% of its worth. My recommendation is to avoid zulily and go with established retailers who have already made their bones way before zulily and their types have been a thought in anyone's head.
I bought 7 knit tops, they arrived in different parcels stretched over 4 weeks. The clothing are poorly sewn, bad quality fabric, the fit is poor. I would not even pay $1.00 to buy such crap! I managed to keep 3 and wanted return 4. Contacted the customer service departments, numerous phone calls and emails. The service department never email me the return label! This company is a scam. Don't buy from them.
This company does NOT tell a buyer that shipping might be delayed by weeks... even during holiday seasons when we are obviously shopping for gifts. I would Never shop here again... it is unprofessional and discourteous and if I had not checked on the site, I would never have known that my gifts were not going to arrive by Christmas. Run screaming. Use Amazon. Much better and much more professional.

Answer: I have never ordered shoes from them but I agree that they likely vary according to brand. Contrary to other comments (that I am very suspicious of...) I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

Answer: It could be a week or it could be 3 months. But my advice would be not to order at all. The sizes are never right (a small may fit someone that wears a large or it may be too small for an infant) and the quality sucks (the fabric on a dress I bought is so thin you can see through 4 layers). STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

Answer: Let me just put this out there. The people who bought things from Zulily (and are unhappy with their purchases), probably didn't research the brand before they bought it. Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it. I hope this helps.
