Overall, a piece of garbage. I created an account to schedule an appointment. They do not send any confirmation of the appointment or reminders that there is any appointment scheduled for me. I end up calling the dental office myself to schedule it.
This website asks for a bunch of sensitive and private medical information that I don't even know if they are actually secured.
The "Forgot Password" link does not work either. I wanted to go back in and disable this account and have waited for the Password Reset email for more than 5 days now and still have not received it. I hope my account is locked for good because I will never use this site again.
Seems to severely limit the negative reviews posted on their site, assuming b/c doctors are the folks that pay them. Left a negative review of a dangerously irresponsible doctor who tried to convince me my medical issue was the result of past trauma or d3 deficiency and didn't even treat it. They somehow posted a 3 star rating to this and I attempted numerous times to contact them and they simply said over and over again that they do not allow edits to reviews but I could delete it. $#*!ty company, $#*!ty user experience, $#*!ty people.

First doctor appointment was cancelled by site, contacted website, tried another doctor 15 minutes later, showed up and they had no idea who I was. Site just does not work. Lord knows what they will do with our information!
As a provider using zocdoc, I would not recommend this service. They do not take good care of their customers, slow to address problems which are affecting patients ability to schedule. I lost a bunch of business because patients had difficulty scheduling. Zocdoc did basically nothing to remedy the problem and said that no one else was having this problem. In other words it was my problem.
They say "we match patients' needs with providers." They failed horrendously and charged me $130. I never listed myself as a psychiatrist, yet two patients booked me for medication management.
Fact
1. ZocDoc's failed website design misguided two patients to book me.
2. ZocDoc insists on charging me $130
3. ZocDoc insists on taking zero accountability
Don't even bother talking to the service support team. They just copy/paste the same message about their business model.

Zocdoc said they will charge if I see a client...the truth is they charge when a client supposedly schedules a session...They don't wait for you to approve. All clients had Medicaid and my profile stated I do not take insurance. Cameron Rivers lied!

I made my dental appointment online with Zocdoc, but it never went to the actual dentist. The app even changed my requested time by half an hour and then confirmed it. I showed up for my dentist appointment, and they had no idea I was coming. What a horrible waste of time!

Using ZocDoc to find and book medical appointments is very user friendly. The site is aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, and is backed by an outstanding customer service team. ZocDoc always makes you feel as if your personal experience truly matters. However, I have yet to find a doctor that I continuously visit based on this site. I know that that is not a reflection of the site itself but more so with the doctors.
My wife and I both suffer from chronic pain and have used ZocDoc with mixed results. However in the past month we've scheduled three appointments between us on ZocDoc, and in each case the physician's office has called us back to let us know the information on ZocDoc was wrong, either showing availability that wasn't accurate (meaning we didn't really have an appointment), or listing services the doctor doesn't provide (meaning we had an appointment with a doctor who couldn't help us). It's consumed a lot of time and been a major inconvenience. We won't rely on this site again.

Zocdoc is a wonderful program so far. Great reminders about health and appointments. For those in the Medical field who use or are thinking of using, I have found this program very helpful. Goes without saying that patients will be well served.
Dr. Frantz was very informative and communicable. He explained everything I had questions about, while also giving me insight on the possibilities of other things people are generally faced with. A family tree was discussed, and his personality allowed me to feel comfortable speaking of any topic, be it personal or not.
Good on the whole, but ZocDoc keeps getting my gender and city of residence wrong after I edit corrections.
Also the notifications could do with one or two fewer.

Making appointments and finding a doctor is so easy. However, on a recent search for dermatologists in the Pompano Beach area I was being shown some that were 45 and 50 miles away. Try to keep things more local.
My experience with zocdoc has been nothing but absolutely amazing, I have found the best doctors when ever I am in need of one, you can find appointment for very next day which is something I love about th website. Thanks keep doing such a great job.
Honestly, it is fast, simple, and hassle-free. Their customer service is great. The doctor's have all been fantastic that I've used. Not sure if I'll ever go back to the old way of booking appointments again.
Very positive and love being able to do doctor required medical history from my computer instead of in the doctor's office. Only wish all doctors were using ZocDoc. Appointment scheduling is great too.
I have recently become eligible for Medicare, and needed to find specialists in my neighborhood who accepted this insurance. ZocDoc gives me that information, along with info about each specialist's education, hospital affiliation, and patient satisfaction, plus the convenience of making appointments online. A good thing all around!
ZocDoc allows me to make appointments without having to listen to a laundry list of options before talking with someone. And if there is ever the slightest problem, not even ZocDoc's fault, they send an email apology right away. Once I even received a small gift certificate for Amazon. It's really a good service!
ZocDoc gave me several different options when booking an appointment with a new physician; I was in the office with forms already completed two days later. If only every online booking went so smoothly...

Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
