This company should be shut down. They steal from realtors. They promise you leads and deliver nothing in return. Please don't lose money as I have over 24,000 dollars with no clients not one! It's beyond me how the NAR BRE and CAR don't intervene for us realtors who they are supposed to protect. They allow them to take our listings and sell the leads we generate back to us and other realtors. Total FRAUD!
To Whom It May Concern,
I want to thank Mr. Craig Brown for helping me and my aunt through the refinancing of her home. He made us feel very comfortable in our dealings with him. He explained the process and the documents in a way that we could understand and follow. The best part for us, other than him being patient with us, was that he got the loan done when other banks turned us away.
I can't him enough.
Sincerely
Paulette Williams
Bogus leads, desperate agents clicking on paying realtors ads to test the site, a waste of money, $1200 later I'm out and not one sale! There is also a large number of old expired listings going back 3 years. A total waste of my time and money, stay away!
I could not list my home and customer service was unresponsive. I submitted my home for sale, received the confirmation call, then nothing happened. Over a week went by with no response. Thankfully, Facebook Marketplace is a great way to reach potential buyers and my home sold without Zillow.
I hope you don't have any account issues, because Zillow will defiantly not contact you back. I have called the customer service number, they never answer and only allow you to leave a message. The help center is the same, you submit an online request and no one responds... This site sucks!
This is a horrible company that destroys housing values and should be taken completely off the internet. Zillow is a leach. They really do not warrant even 1 star however this site requires at least 1 star in order to post.
I was a Realtor when Zillow first started and, at that time, there was not enough data to give their pricing much credibility. Today that is a different story and I rely on this site for not only pricing info but they actually have much more than even the MLS can provide. For research, invaluable.
Zille is posting untrue information about people's remaining mortgages. They're lie to the public and don't update information on their website. They are not reliable site.
As a Realtor, I have been amazed by the arrogance of the people trying to sell you on advertising with their site. Extremely pushy and condescending. One even said if I didn't see the wisdom of signing a 12 month contract with Zillow, I must not be much of an agent. (I have closed more than $100 million).
Then when I thought I had negotiated a 6 mos contract, I discovered right at the last minute that the deal included an automatic renewal for another 6 months. Now, somebody please tell me how a 12 mos contract is different than a 6 month contract with an automatic renewal for another 6 months with the same terms? It was just their sales person doing some fast talking. Fortunately, I caught it just in time and cancelled the deal. AGENTS: Be careful with them!
Zillow leaves a lot to be desired but it's a good place to start researching. The visuals alone do that.
I wish they would add a feature that allows searches by the number of levels a house has--one story; two stories (or more); unfinished basement; finished basement, etc.
The thing is, a LOT of us are getting older and only want to consider a one-story home. Falls are a concern, but even more than that is the day-to-day difficulty of climbing and going down stairs.
Although the site offers good general info about housing market trends, the property-specific info is not useful. I've been trying for 3 months to get someone to correct the property tax info on our home and no one has replied to my emails. They really don't care about providing accurate info.
Zillow is a great site for finding out area property information and values. The data regarding taxes and sales dates, etc. is very informative, however, their valuation of properties can be a bit off. Most likely they base their valuations on previous sales and their estimates are general. If you are looking for property valuation use Zillow for information and then check with several local real estate professionals for the true estimates of valuations. If you are searching for increasing values in a depressed market, the market can change for the better much quicker than reports on Zillow.com. Zillow does eventually catch up though.
This guy is great! He not only provides great service with style, personality and lots of helpful tips, but he actually LISTENS to his clients! I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in the area who is considering buying or selling property.
I signed up for 6 months of seller leads with no decent results, and like a fool I tried out their buyer leads. These are even worse. They will not let me out of my contract even though I am not longer in the business. Horrible company to deal with.
As a listing agent, I find it downright pathetic that Zillow takes all of our hard work, photos, listings, descriptions, and measurements and then charges us agents to have our name next to it. And for everyone who says the agents never respond, let me tell you, when I get 10 emails a day for a $18,000 listing (I'm not kidding) and I reply to each of them within 10 minutes, regardless of the time of day or night and I never get a reply from my reply. After 3 months of that, and countless emails, you just don't care to take the time to look into the properties "window shoppers" any more. (Half of the stuff on Zillow is wrong anyway, If it's any kind of deal, its usually long gone by the time you see it.)
My experience of adding two listings for rental is just ridiculously horrible. After I add the first listing, it is showing on the search but the detail info and photos belonged to another home. You report the problem but there is no response.
"The purchase of the Dogwood Mountain house was about as easy as it gets. Michele helped negotiate our offer in a speedy and effective manner and organised our closing in a way that was beneficial for both buyer and seller.
It is a pleasure to work with Michele; she is knowledgeable, pleasant and very professional. She remembers details, always returns calls, and manages to make excellent, constructive suggestions in a subtle way".
So my house with 5200 sq ft living space, with high end finishes, plus a 3200 sq ft framed out basement with a finished wine cellar and 3 car garage is worth only $40,000 more than a 3200 sq ft house with no basement and a 2 car garage. Both sitting right next to each other on 20 acre parcels with killer views. Zillow is useless in my book. Perhaps it has some value in a densely housed area with cookie cutter tract homes, but for anything else it isn't worth the powder to blow it away.
I posted a For Sale By Owner listing 12 days ago. I received a verification call and email. Their site says it will be posted within 72 hours of verification. It's still not posted. I filled out a complaint form on their site about a week later and received no response. I tried to call - not possible to talk to a human being. To "chat electronically" with someone I have to subscribe to a service. When I was an real estat agent - I payed this company many thousands of dollars a year. I also collect rent on a property through them, but they hold my deposit for about a week. They are all about making money and care nothing for the consumer or even the real estate agents who are their customers!
Nella who works as an agent for Remax is one of the best out there today. She has over 27 years of experience and it is very apparent in how she handles her business. She is also professional and trustworthy. Those are excellent qualities for a real estate agent to have. We recommend her highly to anyone searching for a home in the Middlesex area of NJ.
Answer: All Zillow does is collect your information and when you stop paying or refuse to pay for awful service they send fraudulent trolls pretending to be a potential tenant, buyer, seller that provides no identification to post negative reviews! Zillow is a terrible website!
Answer: Why would you expect a call from the buyer. All buyers, if they want things done proper way, their lawyer/rep/realtor will call you. So, when you do a for sale by owner, you are saying, you don't have a lawyer to represent you, but the buyer will.
Zillow has a rating of 1.6 stars from 583 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Zillow most frequently mention real estate, customer service and home value. Zillow ranks 1203rd among Real Estate sites.
