I wrote a review about this before, but there's just so much lacking, customer service is baad, I rarely get replies to my mails. I did find some nice property through this, but I'd rather use something else
No website for: Michael James N. M. REO Specialists
1803 LOUISIANA BLVD NE
ALBUQUERQUE, NM Alert: it's nearly impossible to find this guy online. He's taken great care in hiding himself (no website. No self photo. No online presence at all. Sly as a Fox) which actually very makes him questionable, therefore here's my honest review: Michael is cruel, deceitful (evades questions), and overall just another arrogant realtor. This is the worst housing market ever, so dealing with agents who LOVE PLAYING GAMES is just not fun anymore. I'd never contact Michael James of ABQ again for any reason, and until this last year I honestly never knew realtors could be so dirty. They're definitely not a friend of integrity (I found only one realtor out of 50 who didn't play games). Michael learn some basic skills in respect. Integrity cant be taught, but being open and not dodging questions is what everyone really wants. Thanks for saving me the headache of dealing with you any more than I've already done.
Website is infuriating, freezing up constantly, will use homes.com going forward. Also why do you say house prices drop at same time sq footage price is up? Horrible website
After I bought my house I requested them to remove the pictures of my house and it took them forever to get back to me saying they cannot verify I am the owner. They never had the right to keep those pictures on their site after the house is sold in the first place. Zillow and Redfin quickly removed all the pictures after I claimed the ownership. What a trash site.
Company is good for spam calling random numbers to ask about properties states away. Would never use these incompetent bozo's as there site info is out of date.
I gave this company a chance a year or 2 ago and it was bad. Afterwards they called over and over for years till the point I decided to give it another try. Well jokes on me! Leads are even worse now. Leads are duplicates that they also SELL with Opcity. (Have proof of that) leads that will kit even qualify for $10k. Leads that are so aggressive because there info has been giving to 100's of realtors so they are just pissed you are number 101 to contact them! I reached out to them, AJ Tizigbar in specific. He called me once offering me more leads! Yeah no thanks, more effort and time on my end and still the crap quality. He said there's nothing they do, at the end of your contract you can submit a review but out of previous experience I know that never happens and they will come up with a reason to decline you. All together a piss poor company with the worst customer service!
Something to celebrate! My year contract is done and over with! Best day! Realtor.com is a rip off, the last leads I received were yet again complete crap! I paid for exclusive leads, yet a common response is " a realtor just contacted me and is willing to help! " now keep in mind, there's not ever been not even a 3 minute wait between me receiving the lead and responding…. So what's this unshared mean?!? Yet another way to lure in agents and rip them off?
Then to finish up this horrid year of crap leads, there's this!
After leaving comments here for the past year, I hope you all take this to heart and not walk but run away from buying leads from Realtor.com, it's a rip off and this company doesn't reply or is acknowledging any wrongdoing. If I could rate it a big fat 0 I would!
Opcity and upnest are Realtor.com Lead service products sold to Realtors. They send you a lead and then you and YOUR BROKERAGE (so all agents in your brokerage) have to pay them for the next 2 years for that lead or anyone that lead knows. Its a HUGE problem since an agent at a brokerage could get a lead and not get that lead engaged - and then one month or 14 months down the line a different agent at that brokerage could get that same lead organically or from a lead service and Realtor.com will demand payment regardless of any proof you can give no exceptions. Avoid at all cost
I was looking at a certain property a couple years ago. It asked for my number and email if i wanted any info on the property. I wasn't looking to buy right that minute, i just wanted some general information, so i put my info in. I was thinking maybe they'd send an email with some extra info or call to connect me with someone that has that info but instead what i got was; an almost immediate(less than 5 minutes) after i put my number in i get a call from someone who is VERY excited that i wanna spend some money (I didn't). I said as much and ended the call and for MONTHS afterwards i would get like 5-10 calls not just from that number but from a BUNCH of different numbers(scammers love spoofing numbers) on a daily basis, so i blocked all of them. This is clearly a scam to get you to spend money, and the only reason i'm making this review is because TODAY, a solid 2 YEARS later, i got another call from some mf in India calling himself "James" about it. It Boggles the mind.
I was interested in an unit in Delray Beach and it was available on the realtor.com website. The website wanted me to pay an application fee of USD 52 and after the payment was made I received a SMS that the unit was unavailable. Is this a swindle, or not? If a unit is unavailable the website should not be asking for an application fee!
App states that my home was sold a few months back. Checked public records and nothing has changed. No real way to contact anyone about the error.
Our agent was amazing. This agent Yorky Corcho Suarez, La Rosa Realty, never came with buyer to show our house and not even walk through. His negligence cost us more than $4000 in out of pocket expenses because of the agent and the lending company. He finally showed up after so many delays of closing and it was time for commission. So many unethical responses I wish I could refuse his commission part and our agent deserved his as well. The lender Chris Estevez was just as bad thank you for our out of pocket expenses due to your procrastination.
I spent $12k and got 100 buyer leads. Lots of Realtors, dreamers looking at manufactured homes, and people pissed off I called. Total waste of money. I tried to cancel since I didn't sign anything. They said the phone conversation was binding. Going to collections now. They can pound sand. Worse than flushing money down the drain.
I want to buy a property, not a timeshare. If I wanted to buy a timeshare I'd go to another website. I'll go to another site to buy because it's too much trouble filtering and reading ALL the descriptions.
Erynne Selk of Cody, Wyoming worked hard with us selling my mom's house. We lived out of town and Erynne was very efficient in communicating with us. She kept in touch with documents and information for selling my mom's house. When we were in Cody Erynne took the time to see us at times that were outside of her working hours. She always responded and was a good source of information with us. She guided us with suggestions and supported our decisions.
I am incredibly grateful for the time that Erynne gave to us. My mom's house sold immediately after an estate sale that Erynne suggested and then was cleaned. I would recommend Erynne to anyone looking for a realtor in the Cody, Wyoming area.

Anyone who can click a button will count as a lead. You will get tons of leads for the least expensive listing in your area, which will typically be an old mobile home on leased land which isn't even actual real estate and almost impossible to finance. It won't matter though, because the "lead" is usually a bogus number and/or email, or they don't answer, or they tell you their credit score is 420 but they really want you to help them. When my year was up (don't think I wasn't counting the days!) Realtor.com sent me an email that for some reason went into my Spam folder, saying I would be automatically charged and re-upped for another period of time if they didn't hear from me in a matter of days. Imagine how surprised I was to see another $480 charge on my CC statement! It took hours of time and trouble with both the bank and Realtor to get the charges reversed.
I tried to get an issue on my consumer profile, called the customer service and after sending me to 4 different people and 56 minutes on the phone, they said they have to create a case number then someone will reach out to me via email or? Within 48 hours...really? No one to talk to now that fix the issue? Professionalism...NO! Use ZILLOW THIS SITE STINKS!
The sales agent assured me that it was a risk-free investment to try them out for 6 months. I gave them over $500 and received a number of leads that were simply curiosity and not vetted at all. In addition, I was never able to use the app on my phone and all they would say is this is who we are and this is what we do. This was definitely a tremendous waste of money for me as a realtor and I will never use them again.
Yet again I write about these crooks.
A listing (Woodward Drive. Abbeville. AL) has a photo...and little else.
Contact info is a realtor with no idea of this listing.
Actual realtor is Tom T-Bo Hattaway, a novice realtor with only this listing, which is listed as sold or available. Listed 2 days ago.
FYI, I have heard that they charge real realtors an incredible amount to handle the sale of one of their referrals.
Do NOT use one of their referrals!
I am so glad to finally review realtor.com.Where the commercials claim that they ( realtors) are driven by a code of ethics.I'd like to make sure everyone knows THERE ARE NO ETHICS IN REALTY. It is the world's biggest legal scam.I bought a home in Hampton, VA. On a 3 year finance, just to find out the RemAX realtor,Jack Miller( who was making 18,000. On the finance LITERALLY POCKETED THE HOMEBUYER DISCOUNT OF 13,000.! Very, very greedy AND ILLEGAL. He got away with it because realty is crooked.ALSO I sold my old house near Hampton,to one of these illiterate flippers named Ernie GRINDALL with SoVa Home Buyers and he cleaned me out; he claimed the first few payments were complimentary ( because he couldn't figure out how to close), then he changed it retrieving that money,he stuck me.with insurance and.power bills for 6 months, he was late paying the taxes., And he ultimately cost Me.about 10,000. IN TAXES due to the way he wrote the contract, the CPAs had to charge me as income and I was also taxed.on depreciation ( ALL NOTHING TO DO WITH SELLING). 3/4 OF THE FLIPPERS ARE JACKLEGS, WHO KNOW NOTHING
BTW.Sova home buyers is now a multi- millionaire.THANKS RRALTOR.COM.FOR ALL YOUR F'N ETHICS!
Answer: Don't do it! Total scam. They don't allow you to cancel, and don't deliver what they promise. I've wasted $1500 and they want to stick me for another $4500! I signed up for an area with $800k average, but ALL of the leads are for $50 mobile homes. COMPLETE SCAM!
Answer: You can file a claim with the BBB. I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Small claims court is always an option.
Answer: Just be sure you are dealing with a realtor. Do not send any money to anybody at a moneygram account. Just make sure it is a realtor you are working with. Because there are scams out there that ask you to send money pretend to be owner etc. you can always ask for license number and go to trec website and check to see if number is real. Hope that helps.
Answer: I hope that if enough of us post about Realtor.com scamming, defrauding our industry we can stop them, scammed myself, never again, worst customer service I have ever encountered.
