I figured to try this as I'm open minded to how to gain new leads. What I ended up with were leads that were looking all over the country based on their search patterns. In just about 9 months and six thousand dollars later no leads ever resulted in a meeting. The email addresses were changed, and in some cases calls were only answered by a voice mail. I attempted to cancel the service, and the company said I had a year contract. However, if a company does not deliver on what they have a agreed this is a breach. I terminated one of my debit cards which was charged, and tow months later they began to bill another debit card which I used for a smaller portion without any authorization. Realtors beware of this lead providing service.
Waste of money... don't do it. You will be locked into a contract. Customer service agents are nice, however, no results are no results. I have 6+ listings at all time... haven't gotten one inquiry ever... been on for months. Take the money and buy tangible marketing materials (i. E. postcards, take a prospect to lunch, send a thank you gift to past clients.)
One star is too high! Before the update this app WAS the leader with its many features and options NOW it is complete garbage. If you want to choose certain house features to search by, you must use the website. The app no longer offers that option. I am so angry and confused why a company would purposely sabotage themselves. Get a clue realtor.com.
The utility of Realtor.com as an effective tool for any real estate professional has taken a nosedive. It is actually painful to look at now and just terrible to utilize. They have regulated themselves back to amateur status and I will look elsewhere for basic listings. This is quite possibly the worst IT upgrade I've ever witnessed.
Buyer beware: I have 3 bad reviews from when I was new and I've been trying to make them go down on the list to bring my rating up with more 5 star reviews. Yesterday morning I had 15 reviews rating me at 4.7 stars (should be 5 stars with 15 reviews). Yesterday I also had trouble getting off a lead zip code waiting list. I was transferred more than 3 times and on hold forever. No dept is accountable for anything; they just transfer the call. I was irritated and sent a frank email regarding my experience and my rating went down to 4.5 stars the next day. I've gotten 3 leads under $200,000 in a market with an average sales price of $550,000 in the 3 months I've been "getting" leads. Unfortunately, this program is a huge let down and pretty much a waste of my money. Customer service is either incompetent or is trained to make cancelling anything impossible. I don't get it.
We tried realtor.com a couple times looking for a vacation home. All I can say is the same thing I said to them: they wasted my time and I'll never use them again. If I call about a property tell me up front if it's under contract or pending. DON'T PLAY WITH ME. This is infuriating. And the agent you're connected to jumps right in to try and hook you into working with him or her on other properties.
Ugh. Never ever again
While they have houses on MLS, they have multiple homes that are just a scam to get realtors potential business. All these websites do is give realtors grief from clients like me that say "but it's on realtor.com". So frustrated. Constant dead ends and solicitations.
Realtor - STAY AWAY or two your hard earned money away to a worthless service
Hold you to there contract even to all the leads are horrible. I good lead were complimentary but the were 100's of miles away. I got more realtor that had replied than actual buyers and seller. Tried to cancel they have called to to stop me. I stuck until October 2017.
It a rip-off you only get maybe 4 bad bad bad referrals that was give to 2-3 other realtor at $70-80 each. If I had at least one good referral I would maybe say it was a total loss to be stuck in this 12 month contract.
The leads are very expensive and prospective clients don't pick up my calls or respond to emails - I think they are bogus all together. No telling how many agents get the leads even though they tell you either none other or just one other. I have switched zip codes and lead generation just got worse. FED UP with this nonsense and will try to opt out/cancel tomorrow! Suggest everyone do the same!
Website does not give accurate information. I did research on some properties I was searching for, this Website ignores facts. They should take a little more time and or do their homework and check Sq. Ft. Of homes they post so people can get real idea. Waste of time.
It is unfortunate that our own organization sells their soul to get more of our cash. All we ask for is service, hear our complaint and not over charge us then tell us to go blow. Really, hang up rather than answer a question? 30 mins on hold to get a dial tone? Tell us you can help and then don't? What is the point? If we did business the way REALTOR.com (move inc) does... there would be no business.
I always used Realtor.com when looking for real estate listings no matter what area of the country. Now, the website is so horrible and NOT user-friendly in any way whatsoever, that it has become nothing but a frustration. If I try to look in another area than where I originally began my search, I can't seem to get it to change the location and I get a message stating no results could be returned. Therefore, I will not use it anymore. I suggest they return back to the more user-friendly website they previously had before they start losing everyone.
Don't spend your money here or waste your time looking on this site! All they want is your cash. They don't provide any real leads. They send you junk leads: homes already pending, off the market, people who have hit a button by mistake,... and maybe worse than that. Never had a decent lead. They harass you for more money when you tell them you are done with them. It could NOT be worse.
Recently tried out their sales lead service, total scam have email confirmation about their initial offering indicating I would have exclusivity with the zip code I was paying for, yet quickly found out this was not true leads were not exclusive, same leads were being distributed to anyone multiple times. When calling to cancel the service, all they continue doing is creating a case and indicating that a manger will contact me within 24hrs, this has been 2 months now with multiple calls to them and always the same response. Will now have to cancel credit card and change to stop their billing. Complete scam do not fall for it!
I saw the commercial on TV where Realtor.com presented as the most accurate website about real estate. I went there to see info about my own house and found that Realtor.com shows wrong basic data: 2 bedrooms instead of 3,0 bathrooms instead of 2 and many other features are missing. I sent them couple emails asking to correct the data to match my county public records but after a months of waiting the issue is still there. The only site that shows everything correctly is Z...
I would not recommend Realtor.com for your real estate research as they do poor job to improve data accuracy.
I always wonder what the meeting is like to discuss app improvements
With the end user in mind and the outcome is similar to your new upgrade. I check realtor.com daily to look for homes, comparisons, neighborhood details. You have taken something effective and made it unmanageable. I am switching to Zillow, even though realtor.com was my site of choice. If I have to rebuild my searches and criteria, I prefer to do it on a platform that at least is intuitive from a user perspective. Please go back to the drawing board and try again so I can switch back.
I signed up with Realtor.com, 2 months ago and purchased leads for 2 cities. Paid for the full year to take advantage of the 10% discount. Right at $3000 and 60 days in, I wanted to share my disappointment.
So far I have received 7 leads, out of these 7, I have contacted them within minutes of receiving the lead. Email, text and of course the call first. I actually spoke with 2 on the phone, with an answer of we had to fill this out or couldn't browse more listings plus I am not looking for a realtor right now. One I point blank received a STOP message back and the other 4 NEVER responded to my interactions AND follow ups. So 60 days later, an absolute waste of my time, no actual person that responds and no contact info that is usable :/ to say I am disappointing is a nice way of saying it. I know 100% sure that the reason they book you in a 1 year commitment is because everyone would bail within the first 2 month!
I caution anyone looking to get in the Real Estate business to purchase lead from Realtor.com. It's not worth it. After 24 years in the military, I have a low tolerance for poor customer service, and this companies the worst. I was told several inaccurate things that they would not honor, and now they are still charging me, two months after my contract was suppose to end. I have sent several emails and several call with no resolution.
The leads are crap and after 14 months of paying on a one year contract, still have no valuable lead. Do not waste your time or money, it's a scam.
Our realtor in purchasing our home was Royce Stringer. We put this poor man through more than any realtor should have to endure. He smiled, laughed, and remained perfectly professional through it all. Three contracts on three houses within a month. Had to cancel the first two due to undisclosed situations with each property. The third one was our "meant to be" house though, and we have been in it for almost a month now. Royce is as accommodating as a realtor can be. Great communication, prompt action on addressing issues, and a skillful negotiator. Highly, highly recommend.
I have used this app since 2013. Now I find it unusable. I can't pull up my favorites other than a small list in the left corner. Searches are challenging and less productive. I just deleted this app from my phone and iPad after three years because it is so frustrating and I have given it two months to attempt to get accustomed to it. I sent realtor.com an email and they said no one e, she has expressed an issue with this update and most find it easier and more functional to use. Lol. Nope
Answer: Don't do it! Total scam. They don't allow you to cancel, and don't deliver what they promise. I've wasted $1500 and they want to stick me for another $4500! I signed up for an area with $800k average, but ALL of the leads are for $50 mobile homes. COMPLETE SCAM!
Answer: You can file a claim with the BBB. I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Small claims court is always an option.
Answer: Just be sure you are dealing with a realtor. Do not send any money to anybody at a moneygram account. Just make sure it is a realtor you are working with. Because there are scams out there that ask you to send money pretend to be owner etc. you can always ask for license number and go to trec website and check to see if number is real. Hope that helps.
Answer: I hope that if enough of us post about Realtor.com scamming, defrauding our industry we can stop them, scammed myself, never again, worst customer service I have ever encountered.
