This complaint is a caution for both buyers and sellers. Zillow's site is comparing my home for sale to a land-only parcel, yet they display a photo of a large brand-new home, including pricing, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and square feet of living space in their "comparable homes in your area." Zillow clearly does not curate their information in any way. Zillow reports to viewers that this non-existent home has 5 bedrooms and 5 baths, with 3532 sq ft. If the user clicks on the link, Zillow repeats all this nonsense on a new page--only in the small text description below this will the reader finally discover that it is fact an empty lot. (It is a few blocks from my house.) Zillow takes the time to point out that my (3 bedroom) house has 2 fewer bedrooms than this phantom house when in fact is has 3 more; Zillow points out that my (2704 sq ft) house has 828 sq ft less than this phantom house when in fact is has 2704 sq ft more, and so on with the number of bathrooms. Not surprisingly, Zillow's non-existent comparable house is over $200,000 less in price than my real house. Most Zillow viewers, never navigating to the small text on the linked page, will think my house is way overpriced. Zillow's un-curated, algorithm-driven website is a disservice to both buyers and sellers. This gross negligence is yet one more instance of the worthlessness of Zillow.
Fake reviews of real estate agents usually put up by agents themselves. Waste of time & money advertising because the leads are the account managers trying to get you to think zillow actually works.
I put my house up "for sale by owner" on Zillow and they have potential buys calling realtors that I have no relationship with. I was never contacted by a principal buyer. Total fraud!
The apparments next to the property I live at are zillow apparments and they are off the chain over there they decided they are going to throw rocks at me and my wife's apparments on many nights wile being dressed with there face and head covered and if that ain't rich the right after the person in there back yard that threw the rocks I watched go back into the apartment this male I had seen before he is the only male over there and he is obviously a gang member he has tattoo that are gang related he is either a renter or or just babies daddy but he has been living there since they moved in
We have been working with Stacey Kochanek from Keller Williams for the past few months. She has worked really hard to help us find the home of our dreams, and I am confident she will very soon. Ed M.
Put up my property as a for sale by owner (FSBO) on Zillow. First, easy to post however, post is placed on a back folder tab option that very few use to see properties for sale. Then when I made an inquiry to show interest in my listing (test the site), I received no open direct contact response (expected a response similar to craigslist) however Zillow off shore operators called and had a local realtor call, who explained how they steer buyers to other properties, MLS type properties, lied and said (FSBO)'s are held to same paperwork MLS docs standard as RE licensees (I used to be licensed RE agent and know the rules). Never received a notice or contact info about the inquiry, it was rerouted onto the MLS listings. Not happy with Zillow credibility, steering tactics, thinking they sold my info to the local RE MLS agents.
Looking for places to rent here is a nightmare. I can't tell if it's from Zillow's end or from the seller/agent's end, but no listings are ever accurate, never make sense, or ever detailed enough. I've seen listings with no images at all, all capitalized text which is difficult to read, inaccurate information about the neighborhood, careless sloppy descriptions, etc. If you're going to copy and paste descriptions here, at least proofread your stuff. Also, this isn't a roommates website. I'm sick of viewing listings with reasonable prices, only to find the cost is for a SINGLE BEDROOM for a roommate.
Zillow should seriously be moderating these listings and push people to be more specific. Providing no square footage, no images, or a single blurry picture of the rental's floor isn't going to help anyone.
Also, I've been bait and switched so many times. I feel like it should be against the rules for agents to post potential listings for rent, but when you call them up, they try to take down your info to find you other apartments that aren't the one they listed. On top of that, some listings are described as no-fee or don't mention broker fees until you waste your time viewing the apartment to find out last minute that indeed, there's fees charged.
ZILLOW MADE A LOCATION ERROR AND HAS MY HOME FOR SALE IN THE WRONG TOWN WHICH IS TOTALLY DESTROYING MY ABILITY TO SELL MY HOME. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A MONTH AND NO MATTER WHAT MY REAL ESTATE AGENTS OR i DO WE ARE UNABLE TO FIX THIS OR REACH ANYONE AT ZILLOW. I am an 82 year old Navy Veteran, all my saving are in my house and I am desperate to sell! SOMEONE! HELP US!
"Zillow home loans told us the day before the closing on our new home that they screwed up some paperwork and we could not close. It took them 48 hours to fix the issue. This caused a considerable amount of stress and embarrassment buying a home from a family member not to mention rescheduling of friends/movers/work and associated costs. They also moved the move out date of our old home from friday up to sunday with a $5,000 penalty if we weren't out in 3 days when I had the whole week off of work to move out. Quite a surprise and change of plans! A 'manager' said we would be compensated in some way to 'make it right'. 5 weeks went by with dozens of emails and phones calls with everyone passing on the issue to someone else until finally we were connected to a customer care team where phone tag went on another week or more only to tell us we would not be compensated in any way. Apparently the hassle they created has no 'value' to them unless I could provide receipts for my stress, embarrassment, and moving costs in which I paid in cash and trade of services through my wife's business. Not even a written apology and gift card to a steak house. Buyer beware- you are a number to Zillow not a human being."
NEVER, EVER USE ZILLOW FOR ANY REASON. I LISTED AN APARTMENT FOR RENT AND IMMEDIATELY I FOUND OUT THAT ZILLOW EITHER SOLD ACCESS TO MY LISTING OR THEIR SECURITY IS SO BAD THAT A PERSON CALLING THEMSELVES A PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY HIJACKED MY LISTING. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW THAT HAPPENED AND THEY TELL ME IT MUST BE ME! THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE US UNLESS YOU'RE A PAID ADVERTISER AND ALL THEIR "SUPPORT" IS AT 3RD WORLD, OFF SHORE MINIMUM WAGE CALL CENTERS! IF YOU POST A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON FACEBOOK, THEY JUST DELETE IT. WHEN I FINALLY GOT AN EMAIL FROM "SARA" SHE TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT USING THIS OTHER PERSON'S EMAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD TO TAKE THEM OFF. AND WHEN I TRY TO DEACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT, THE LINK JUST TAKES YOU TO THE MAIN PAGE TO BUY THEIR SERVICES. THERE IS NO WAY TO DEACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT OR DELETE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION! ONCE THEY HAVE IT, THEY CAN SELL IT FOREVER! NEVER USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!
Very very bad guy! Never trust them, The most of them can do, is to damage all your business! It's biggest $#*!ing $#*! business, why they are still alive?
We met Ronda Lussier of Watson Realty Corp. at an open house. We were so impressed with her open house that we decided she would be the right one to help us find our next home. She works hard as a listing agent and as a buyer's agent. She is organized, goes the extra mile to answer any questions you might have, knowledgeable about the Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra area and stays cheerful no matter the effort required. We would highly recommend her. Her contact is *******@watsonrealtycorp.com. Submitted by Mark and Cindy Hiltz
When we first started shopping for our home a few years ago our internet searches migrated toward Zillow. At first... Over time it became clear that this site was highly inaccurate, many of the homes were either no longer listed or sold... Fast forward 3 years... We have since purchased our home (no Zillow was of no assistance in doing this. Fortunately we had a fantastic realtor whom guided us in the right direction)
I was curious to see if current information was available upon the Zillow site as an experiment. Low and behold Zillow is at least consistent in that our home value and our neighborhood data was at least one year old. Listing values of 100K or more lower than what the current market and comps state. (even the satellite images shown are of dirt lots at least 3 years old) My warning to any who stray into this grey area of ineptitude... Take it with a grain of salt. There are many other outlets who at least make an effort at accuracy. The only conclusion I can draw from this is that Zillow is only in business to generate revenue from advertising.
Y'all keep sending me to tour places and no one shows up. Y'all are scammers. No one ever shows their face but will send you text messages and emails. If I could give 0 I would
Dozens of realtors blowing my phone up, maybe 2 or 3 real potential buyers. One realtor told me, " You know how this works don't you?... I'm like, no I don't. Was told FSBO.
Many Active listening are actually not active are under contract or are there just for the agent free Avartisme.
As an example 56 Magnolia Av Maywood N. J.
As a today October 2nd 2019 this is "Active " but the listing agent Frank Boccuzzi refuses to show it.
Frank Boccuzzi is listed "Premier Agent ", so wandering if " Zillow " has any kind of ethical and professional standards when comes about their "Premier Agents", or is just who paid more.
What I get from Zillow is a bunch of pitches from groups who want me to sign up for other RE programs because they know how frustrated people who post properties on Zillow are when they get no results after a year. I listed my property a year ago in the high 20's while other properties in the area were in the mid to upper 30's. I've been reducing the price and am now down to 20K and there is still no interest except RE brokers and websites who want me to engage them believing they can get me better results. Fact is, nobody is buying property because they don't believe in the future in this country, but, it is pretty obvious that the program is more to reinforce the benefit of brokerage than to help the seller. Buyers have trust issues with Zillow and are skeptical, sellers have few options other than newspapers (who buys or reads anymore?) or brokers or websites who offer you a piece of the action for an extremely unearned fee. This is simply an educational site to discourage the seller into submission, I can imagine the frustration of a buyer using this tool Run, before you loose money or value.
Brandie did an excellent job steering us through the maze of obstacles when buying a home in ohio that is owned by a bank in california,, she did such a great job that after completion of that purchase we asked her to sell our present home which she did in 7 days, very happy with that, Thank you Jim and Cyndi Clifford
My wife and I, along with her sisters recently experienced the death of their mother. They inherited the family home. We decided it would be best to sell it. We contacted Jamie Marcantonio at Signature Premier Properties. We found Jamie is a wonderful person to work with, and highly recommend her to anyone who decides to sell or purchase a home.
When we met with Jamie, she was not only on time, but a few minutes early. She already did background on homes nearby that were for sale or sold recently. She is honest and knowledgeable, gave us a true value for the home and worked with it. Running into a few bumps during the sale, Jamie handled everything without hesitation, and we knew we were in good hands. She was answering questions before we could ask them, always explaining what was going on and gave us updates often. We were in contract with a buyer within weeks and are just waiting now for a closing date.
When next, we find ourselves to be selling or upgrading we will reach out to Jamie Marcantonio without hesitation.
Answer: All Zillow does is collect your information and when you stop paying or refuse to pay for awful service they send fraudulent trolls pretending to be a potential tenant, buyer, seller that provides no identification to post negative reviews! Zillow is a terrible website!
Answer: Why would you expect a call from the buyer. All buyers, if they want things done proper way, their lawyer/rep/realtor will call you. So, when you do a for sale by owner, you are saying, you don't have a lawyer to represent you, but the buyer will.
Zillow has a rating of 1.7 stars from 582 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Zillow most frequently mention real estate, customer service and home value. Zillow ranks 1206th among Real Estate sites.
