We were sorry to read your comments that the standard anti-reflective coating you selected is not reducing the glare from sources such as streetlights at night, and that the gray photochromic feature is not turning the lenses as dark as you had hoped. Consequently, we apologize for any disappointment you experienced as a result. Regarding the anti-reflective coating, we want to confirm that this feature reduces, but does not prevent glare on the lenses. In addition, the photochromic feature works best under optimum conditions, which are cold, sunny days. However, this order is only approximately one week outside its 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered. Therefore, we will be happy to make a one-time customer service exception to extend the warranty period on your behalf, so that you may return these eyeglasses to us for an inspection of the anti-reflective coating and photochromic feature. If our inspection finds that the anti-reflective coating is not working properly, and if the lenses are not getting as dark as they should when they are outside in direct sunlight, we can offer to remake the glasses for you for free. Answer: I had no problem with returning my initial pair of glasses. I contacted customer service via online chat and explained my reason for return and I was told I would receive 100% credit that could be applied to my reorder. I followed the return instructions given and kept track via USPS and the transaction went smoothly without any glitches.

Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle. The clear viewing area is located in the central "corridor" of the lenses, so there can be a noticeable but expected blur when looking toward the edges of the lenses. Due to this design, and because there are slight differences between progressive lenses across brands, someone new to wearing progressive lenses may initially experience some difficulty adjusting to them; likewise, someone who is already accustomed to wearing one brand of progressive lenses may have some difficulty adjusting if they switch to a different brand, and they will find that it it will take some time to become accustomed to the new lenses. Despite the period of adaptation needed, we are happy to report that we do not receive a disproportionate number of complaints about our progressive lenses. However, we don't ever want to assume that needing time to adjust to the lenses is the only reason a customer could be having difficulty with their glasses; consequently, if you have recently purchased progressive lenses, and have problems seeing clearly through them, we encourage you to contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-211-2105. Answer: I had the same experience. Very disappointing. When I called about the problem they questioned the accuracy of my prescription. I was able to return them for a Zenni credit, less shipping costs. Waiting to see if the second pair is better...
