This place is limited on the sizes of shoes it carries. I have a $110 allotment towards safety shoes through work, but it is useless when Zappos doesn't carry my size. I had to settle with shoes that didn't fit correctly last year, not doing it again this year.
I used to love buying from Zappos and am a VIP customer. Ordered a Xmas gift on December 11. My orders as a VIP are supposed to have one day shipping. No package 5 days later so I called. The first clueless rep had zero idea of what the issue was so asked me to call back. Excellent service. Rep this morning tells me the item is shipping in late January. How convenient for a Xmas gift. Horrible service and the lack of disclosure of a late shipping date when ordering is ridiculous. Shame on you Zappos, a former VIP customer

They hold your money hostage if you do an exchange they won't refund your money back to your credit card but to a gift card of Zappos, therefore you are forced to have to keep buying from zappos even if and when they don't have the shoe you want. Lousy deal.

I have adored Zappos since I found their bit of shopping heaven for me! Their buyers were spot on for quality as well having an eye for forward thinking, as I purchased a wide brimmed hat in '09 treated with SPF! Plus, their Customer Service was outstanding! Yet, once Bezos purchased Zappos, I feel like I am shopping@ Amazon and NOT Zappos, that it was, but no now. I have kept TWO items in the last 18 months. Previously I took to Zappos for not only my shoes, but my handbags, sunglasses, swimsuits as well as active wear for hiking and gear. Now, I might as well shop on Amazon (which I will not), BUT I hate their Customer Service, as well as possible knock-offs.

After being connected, I stated my issue: I placed an order 11 days ago but did not receive a confirmation email or any updates for my order. I have a pending transaction on PayPal for this order and I would like to cancel this order because of how long it is taking. He asks for some personal details which I provided and he proceeds to tell me he was unable to locate my order. I replied with yes because I never created an account. I did an express PayPal checkout. I send a screenshot of the only email confirmation I received (which was from PayPal) and he tells me unfortunately, that is a PayPal transaction number and not ours, and tells me he needs the Zappos confirmation number in order to locate it. Didn't I first mention that in the beginning? I did not receive an email confirmation or any updates on my order. He tells me to dispute it with PayPal and I tell him I am unable to because the order is pending and PayPal won't allow me to. Then, he offers a number to call to check my order verification based on the charge from the payment card. Again, I stated my card was not charged. It is PENDING and I would just like to cancel this order so they don't decide to charge and send me the order 3 weeks later or whenever they decide to, when I already purchased another pair elsewhere. 30 minutes later and there is no response. The issue has not been resolved, I was just left hanging.
