Umm I think any good review or decent photo of the hair is all fake and probably written by people who are part of this scam, laughing as we blindly keep buying… they are so heavily advertised but have hardly any comments on their IG… the only honest reviews I've found are on this website and YouTube. I ordered a halo hair piece within Australia with supposed "2 business day" postage which actually took 2 weeks after emailing them a couple of times. When the hair arrives, you can't return it if you've "broken the seal", but that's the only time it looks ok. As soon as you put them in your hair they tangle and bunch up into dreadlock-like separating pieces. U could brush them 10 times in one day and it wouldn't make a difference, in fact it tangles your own hair underneath it too. My damaged hair doesn't even do that and is easier to brush. I've used no heat on them, and washed them only with the products included after only one wear to see if that would help. Nup. Even a detangling spray doesn't detangle anything, just makes the hair oily leading to no choice but another wash. The hair has a distinct smell and it has to be synthetic or at least mixed with synthetic hair that must have some sort of heat-resistant coating, if people are using straighteners on them or whatever. There's shiny strands throughout that are really obviously not real hair. I'm so mad that I paid 200+ for these "100% human hair" phoney extensions. I'm gentle with them and the part that you hook the string onto just broke out of nowhere too. Most of all though, the quality is just bs and I highly doubt this is real hair… couldn't imagine getting something permanent like tapes with this wicked witch of the west-type mop. Biggest scam ever. Who tf allows this and why hasn't anyone ran tests on the hair and exposed them yet?!
I ordered 40 pieces of tape in extensions and literally 2 days later when I went In the shower all the extensions fell out like as if they wasn't even glued in. Crazy, and their customer service sucks they tried to blame my stylist for this when clearly it's their product because I took the same extensions and bought new tapes to use for the hair and it didn't happen again. So that being said 100 percent their fault for having $#*!ty adhesive on their tape ins.
I would give a 0 star review if I could. These are the worst extensions I have ever had in my 4 years of having weft hair. They get so tangled, shed so fast, and genuinely look horrible. I am almost positive they are not real hair they look so bad.don't waste your money and buy literally anything else!
I've ordered many times had a few little issues but today topped them. I added 1 9 piece set of extensions to my cart went to pay looked normal didn't do afterpay just used my debit and put standard delivery. My bank account notified me I was being charged 3 times for the same amount from the same place. I tried looking for a customer service phone number they have NONE. I tried looking for a live person to chat they have NONE. I emailed customer service they finally got back to me hours later and said they would have to look into it and get back to me. Still waiting. Honestly the extensions are not nice enough for all the hassle and definitely not worth $900.00. If you purchase be prepared to be out almost 1000 I'll write another review when I find out how it's handled.
I like the quality of the hair and they blend beautifully. I received so many compliments. Color match was perfect. It was a great first shopping experience.
I honestly don't even know where to start in terms of whether Zala's hair or customer service is worse. I have been a Zala loyal customer for about 2 years now. I would order the longest, thickest hair that they offer every 4-5 months, despite the mediocre quality. The last time I ordered hair from Zala I noticed that it only lasted the duration of ONE APPLICATION (which is about a month and a half). The hair is an absolute mess. It's completely tangled, it sheds, and it's coarse as hell. I reached out to Zala informing them of my disappointment, and they sent me an email containing pages of questions regarding everything from how I washed the hair to my hairdresser's license ID number. I had the actual hair in my possession that I could have easily shipped out to them, but they prefer putting their customers through hell in hopes they would think it's not worth the hassle and move on without getting compensated. I am happy to say that I did let go of wanting to be compensated for their trash hair, then I found my saving grace BELLAMI PROFESSIONAL HAIR. I bought incredibly gorgeous 24" hair from Bellami and I am NEVER looking back. Yes, it's a lot more expensive but so far, it has been worth every single cent. Take it from me, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY HAIR FROM ZALA - IT IS TRASH.
I've been wearing extensions for years and never had a problem. A couple of months ago I bought blonde tape ins. After my first hair wash of having them in the hair looked fried and cheap, which has never happened to me before. I reached out to customer service and the best they could do was a $10 credit which later turned into a $20 refund on a $200+ purchase. This month my hair is now black and I bought weave in extensions. After 3 weeks of wear the hair gets tangled so easily, it becomes matted and extremely knotty to the point where I'm embarrassed of how my hair looks. Again on a $300+ purchase they refunded me $40 after tons of emails going back and forth with them basically blaming me for the quality of their hair. They told me I must be doing something wrong for the hair to look and feel the way they do. I take very very good care of my hair and my extensions because it's an investment and this hair is not worth it. I would never purchase from them again.
I used to get my hair extensions for last two decades at Sally's, but due to the pandemic they're harder to find there. So I saw ZALA Hair extensions and thought I'd give them a try. They were more money than Sally's were. After one wash using their shampoo and conditioner they turned a copper orange. So I wrote to them and they said that I must be using a bad shampoo, and I told them well it's there a shampoo and conditioner that I'm using. I've never had hair extensions do that. I did not die them I did not do anything to them but wash them. Please stay away unless you really enjoy losing money. Glam hair extensions are the best they're worth every cent. Please give them a try they're worth the money.
I wish i would have seen this post before purchasing 2 bundles and paying over $400, just because i wanted to save a few dollars instead of going with Bellami,
The hair looks and feels great for the first couple of weeks literally because that's the life you will get out of it, Once you start having to wash/shower. It gets super curly and nappy. Its extremely hard to manage and i am on week 3 and debating whether to take the out. And i don't even was them until its been atleast 3 days and nor use hot water so these are crappy.
I honestly have no words for the attitude in front of Zala, it is the worst customer service I have ever received, it is evident that they do not care about their clients, only the money. Do not buy in zala to avoid problems.
In all my years of dealing with extensions having them and buying from different companies this hands down is the WORST hair I have ever bought. Do not waste you money on this product. In fact run as far away as you can. Also company were not helpful and only offer a hair extension brush or voucher. Apparently out of warranty once opened. Which is pointless.
This hair is literally horrible I did everything in my power to save these 800 dollars worth of clipins. They Mat and tangle also shed I will be doing a review for YouTube. My hair blends perfectly fine but you can not convince me that this isn't synthetic hair I will never purchase from them again!
Please please please don't buy from this company. I have had the worst experience ever. The quality is horrendous and when I reached out to them to resolve the issue their customer service was terrible. The hair is awful, dry and matted once you wash it, the breakage is awful! I use good products, I am a hairdresser and I have used extensions for two years and I know how to care for my hair to make it last. My Bellami hair still looks brand new after a year of constant wear. I was wanting a color change and was looking for a more affordable alternative to Bellami but boy was this a very expensive mistake. All customer service has done was search for ways to blame me for the quality of their hair. I had my hair installed March 19th and it hasn't even been a month and I am ready to have this rats nest removed. I cant believe how customer service has treated me, I have provided proof with photos and they still are giving me the 3rd degree trying to make it my fault, I have not had the hair long enough to damage it. I never experienced these issues with Bellami and if there was ever an issue they we're on it. They never asked 15 question's basically fishing for reasons why their crappy product quality is your fault. At the end of this ordeal I would have spent $1400. Please don't put yourself in the same position.
Not double drawn FALSE advertising. I spent over $, 440 on clip ins and such a regret the hair is so fine and not double drawn at all as promised and advertised.
I'll start by saying I'm a licensed Cosmetologist and have done hair since 2005. I've worn extensions, myself, since 2012 and have worked with a LOT of extensions. I'm so disappointed I didn't realize the reviews on their site were biased/fake. You can't leave one, if you try. The marketing, models, return policy, variety, packaging, everything looked SUPERB--10/10 stars. I even emailed them in advance to make sure the clip-ins were the same quality as the other types. I was told it was all 100% human Remy hair and the same quality. Shipping was great, came in two days. Opening the hair, it looked fantastic. Color, feel, clips, lace, travel case all looked 10/10, as well. Everything and more I would expect. I was a little skeptical they advertise you need their special spray to keep the hair smooth, but I bought it, anyway. I totally gave them a fair chance. I did everything you're supposed to do--let it air dry, brush it gently twice a day, keep it braided when active, use their spray, etc., but it only got worse. By the third wash, the hair was trash. For something as simple as daily wear, it's done nothing but clump up, tangle, and rat. The minute I comb them out, they're tangled again. Not only that, but the hair falls out like crazy with every brush and wash. They no longer blend in with my hair, but are fuzzy, dry, and push out my hair, also making it tangle. This is a sign of it NOT being good quality hair and the cuticles not going the same direction. I don't even think it's Remy hair. I emailed them and they sent me 15 questions of everything I "did" to the hair (many, of which, should be totally normal things, like sleeping) and said my experience is unique. They also have 0-2 comments on their Instagram posts and delete any negative feedback. Not normal for 229K followers (they probably bought them). SO incredibly frustrating! No way to get a refund or return. They also have biased reviews with their "send us a positive review within 10 days for a money-back rebate!" Even though the packaging looks great, the actual product is not. I will never buy from this company again, or ever recommend it.
So first off I'm a hairdresser and have had extensions for the last 3 years. I usually use Superior Hair but was recommended Zala because you got more hair for less money. I wish I'd never bought them. They are definitely not 100% remy hair they feel like $#*!. I did have to dye them and they dye does not take at all it took me 3 goes to get it right. (using only semi permanent colour and no bleach) they matt up so quickly it looks like I have a nest in my hair yet when I spoke to them (huge email thread over 3 days) they blamed user error and avoided my question of why its happening as I've never had this problem with SuperiorHair. They couldn't give me an accurate answer then saying I voided the warranty by dying them and it would've been the dye that ruined it...
Semi permanent colour cannot damage hair! And does not explain why its matting up. I'm being sent a treatment that will apparently fix it... If Olaplex can't fix it doubt some watery treatment can.
I purchased the 12 inch sew in wefts December 2021 and had them professionaly sewed in December 7,2021. I had to have them removed January 28th 2022 because the ends broke off and ended up being shorter then my real hair! I am can say with 100% condidence that I took the best care of these extensions and only used the best products. These extensions were one of my most disapointing purchases EVER! Don't waste your money on these!
It took forever for my product to ship. When it did ship it is saying that it's delivered however I do not have my package. They will not resend as they stand behind the mail service. We all know how great our mail service is right? Didn't even try to make it right! Will never refer anyone again!
Zala has the worse customer service! My package got lost in the mail I never received it. I emailed them to see if they can help by sending me a new package or offer a discount since I had to buy the hair again They didn't care at all I lost my money!
It's funny to read all of the reviews that are already on here and I should've read them before hand. I ordered back in October and I ordered the wrong color. I spent $18 sending my package back in December. I lost my receipt but they never received my package. I have been writing constantly day in and day out trying to talk to somebody at this warehouse. There Hass to be three packs of hair sitting somewhere that would've arrived by December 24th. I went ahead and just re-ordered the new color instead of waiting for the return. Ever since I've had them in, they don't stay very nice looking. They get pretty tangly and I'm really not satisfied with them at all. I've never been so upset with a company in all of my life. Never again.
