I bought my first Zala extensions in 2021. They were nice for the price. I have used other brands and decided to order Zala tape ins since the first set worked. I ordered dirty blonde, they were professionally installed and let me tell you, the end of the second day they were matted and there was so much breakage it was embarrassing because it was pointed out to me that I had broken hair all over my black shirt! I had to take them out that night! I have also ordered other products to care for the extensions…NEVER AGAIN. Zala is trash!
Do not buy the champagne blonde hair extensions. Do not look like the photo at all! Way too brassy and purple shampoo is barely making it better.
I've always bought extensions from this but this color I am soo disappointed and mad.

I've been using Zala Hair Extensions for seven years. In the last year I've noticed the quality of hair has gone completely down hill, they tangle & get matted no matter what I do. First six years were fine & I have not changed my washing routine at all. I use only the best products. I thought I was going crazy until I read all these other reviews with ladies experiencing the same thing as me. I will never buy from this company again, I have moved onto a more expensive brand but at least it's real hair & I'm not embarrassed to go out in public! Seriously I've spent thousands in the last year replacing the extensions every time I visit the hairdresser. I am not happy. Not even going to email or anything they can suck one.

They match my color wrong and that wanted me to pay for shipping to send back for them in order to change. Hair is not real human hair. Constantly the hair fails off and it has a horrible bleach smell. Try to wash but still the smell is unbearable.

I ordered my extensions weeks ago and still have not received them. I emailed The company they want me to track the package. I just paid a couple hundred dollars for these why do I have to track it. I will never order from them again.

I bought the sunkissed tape in extensions and in 2 months, the length went to 16 inches from buying 26 inches, they sent me a deep conditioner. Then I said ok maybe it is my fault and bought a new set that cost about $500 and not even a month. They try to send me a new conditioner until I told them I'm doing legal action and now they want to replace. Worst extensions don't buy, customer service the worst.

I ordered 2 packages of the zala machine sewn weft 18 inch extensions. They lasted 3 weeks before I had them removed completely because even with using high quality products and oils on my hair and the extensions, they kept knotting up as if they aren't 100 percent remy hair! Do NOT buy these.

I've bought from here multiple times. At first, I didn't know any better. Thought dry, brittle, easily matted hair was normal. I bought a set from Bellami that lasted almost a year. Came back to Zala & this set came in with a green hue to them, very dry after the first wash (I use all the proper products), are always matted. They lasted all of 2 months. Use a high quality company. Although they cost more up front, it saves you in the long run.

A couple months ago I purchased a set of clip ins and tape ins. The clip ins became dry and unmanageable after my first time washing them. The tape ins were better quality but with the inconsistency in their products I wouldn't purchase from them again. Note: I have worn hair extensions for 10 yrs now. Have purchased many brands. I know how to care for hair extensions.

Im a licensed Cosmetologist and have been working with and personally wearing different extensions & extension brands for over 8 years now. These are the worst yet. I was hesitant at first because of the price being so cheap, well you definitely get what you pay for with these. My bottom row that is pictured below has completely broke off after less than 1 month after installing. These were 20in wefts! They constantly matte, I literally have to brush my hair every five minutes or they are completely matted. I contacted zala customer service and they refunded me $50 and sent a conditioning treatment. The treatment isn't gonna save the weft that's completely gone!

I'm not a professional by any means. This is my first set of clip ins. I CONSTANTLY have to brush them I mean constantly. I have worn them very few times (less than 10) today I washed them for thr first time and they are completely matted and tangled. I suspected they weren't real when I first got them because they have that super shiny barbie look. They stretch when u brush like plastic hair. And now I'm trying to detangle them and it's just like trying to fix barbie hair. Impossible! Real hair responds to products. These will not detangle no matter what i do. I got sew ins from the salon that I still have and they are nothing like this fake hair!

I bought a halo. It sheds like crazy, kinked up on the first wash, and is easily tangled. I also tried the burn test and it's definitely not human hair, despite what their site claims. I knew by the price it would be cheap processed hair, but I thought it would at least not be synthetic.
I first bought 16 inch keratin straightened halo for my friend and a 9 piece clip in keratin straightened for myself,
Second order pony tail plus a five piece clip in not keratin straightened for myself
Third order a halo 20inch natural hair …. All within six months
All are sh** there is no difference from the keratin straightened to the human hair the ends are all putrid nothing natural about them I bought all different styles but same colour the darkest brown 1c I think …. Save your money save your time take it for me the quality is horrible I tried them all

I spent around 400$ on the weft hair extensions and they didnt even last a month before they got super matted and dry. The worst hair i have ever bought. I have been wearing extensions for years and i will just stick to bellami hair instead. Dont waste your money on there trash hair!

In all my years of dealing with extensions having them and buying from different companies this hands down is the WORST hair I have ever bought. Do not waste you money on this product. In fact run as far away as you can. Also company were not helpful and only offer a hair extension brush or voucher. Apparently out of warranty once opened. Which is pointless.
I cannot believe this company claims this is 100% Human Remy hair. It is not even real hair let alone Remy! They should be put out of business making these false claims. Do not be fooled by their Instagram models and fake pictures. My tape hair completely knotted after 3 washes. I also bought a Halo and ponytail completely fake and really hot in the heat. Got ripped off. There are so many companies with good products.
I ordered a month ago. $500 Canadian worth of extensions. I saved for this. This company are crooks. They still haven't sent my order. They won't respond to ig messages and they don't respond on email either. Be aware! You will not get your package.
Zala use to be very good (3 or 4 years ago) up until recent years they've gone downhill. The quality of their hair extensions are simply not the same as they use to be. I bought 20 inch hair extensions in September and installed them. Within a month they shed so much they look so bad. They are so thin and so short. I use to rave about how good Zala hair extensions were. I used salon product (I am a licensed cosmetologist) and even used zalaplex from their website. I would do heartless hairstyles and now they look terrible. With these kind of extensions I would expect to have a longer wear with them but I only got a one time use out of them and I am extremely disappointed.

I've been wearing extensions for years and never had a problem. A couple of months ago I bought blonde tape ins. After my first hair wash of having them in the hair looked fried and cheap, which has never happened to me before. I reached out to customer service and the best they could do was a $10 credit which later turned into a $20 refund on a $200+ purchase. This month my hair is now black and I bought weave in extensions. After 3 weeks of wear the hair gets tangled so easily, it becomes matted and extremely knotty to the point where I'm embarrassed of how my hair looks. Again on a $300+ purchase they refunded me $40 after tons of emails going back and forth with them basically blaming me for the quality of their hair. They told me I must be doing something wrong for the hair to look and feel the way they do. I take very very good care of my hair and my extensions because it's an investment and this hair is not worth it. I would never purchase from them again.
After ordering 3 times in a year and a half, I've learnt my lesson. Thinking that the hair being damaged or not lasting was my fault or my stylists, realizing it's just Zala hair. After receiving my last shipment, waiting a month, and being charged 80.00 in customs! They sent me the wrong length! They wanted me to ship it back and wait for them to approve it, THEN they would ship me my proper hair, which I PAID FOR! Horrible customer service. Save your money and time!
