YouTube's reputation is increasingly marred by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to excessive advertisements and perceived censorship. Users express frustration over the platform's reliance on ads, which disrupt viewing experiences and lead many to consider alternatives. Complaints about account suspensions and a lack of transparency regarding community guidelines further exacerbate concerns about customer service. While some users appreciate the vast array of content available, the overall sentiment indicates a growing discontent with YouTube's management practices, prompting calls for more user-friendly policies and a potential shift to competing platforms.

I ordered a pair of pants that was too small and it cost me 12.95 to return and on top of that a $5.00 restocking fee which adds up to the cost of the merchandise. They also has rude customer service. Beware!
You tube used to be an easy to use website but recently, they have altered the sign in procedure which makes it nearly impossible to sign in, before it used to store your account details online, it no longer does that, also they send you verification codes which dont work then your account gets suspended.
YouTube started as a great opportunity for anyone interested in creating interesting videos for others. Those which found great success started to make a living through their YouTube channel, offering interesting videos covering a wide range of topics. Over the past few years, there has become a war between a dying traditional media and online content providers which seem to do a better job of covering current events or entertaining the masses. As a result, YouTube has started to fall apart in the wave of advertisers pulling their interest from the website due to political pressure for mainstream media. Not only this, but YouTube's lack of involvement on their own website have made the website a feeding ground for those which want to use their DMCA system as a means to silent criticism or coverage of events which may have them in a negative light.
While there is still a lot of great content on the website, those that produce thought-provoking content are finding themselves gated out of advertising due to a process which determines whether content is eligible for monetization or not which doesn't take into consideration the actual content of the video. It is painfully easy for any company to prevent a content creator from being able to make money, making YouTube a barren wasteland for quality content in comparison to its glory days. YouTube claims to be making changes to fix these issues, but they have not taken any steps to prove otherwise.
Every day I go to this site and watch a variety of videos. For these purposes, this is the best site. No more, no less.
Gosh. I used to spend a lot of time watching good content created by other users. Now I get all these ads for like 3 minute video. It is so frustrating. I get that they want to make more money but come on... I just hate to see all these ads popping up!
I'm using Youtube only for sharing personal videos. Youtube doesn't provide enough tools for marketing! Videos about cosmetics and other stuff can be well promoted on YouTube, for the rest topics you need to pay extra money for advertising.
Really, there is no need to review it. It's the first video platform which strongly holds top place in whole world.
Youtube used to be my favourite place for funny videos, but nowadays every vid has to be filled with ads. Unacceptable for me.
Highly disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for years regardless of the fact that they always get things wrong. Also, their jeans most of the time arrive in jegging form. Every single jean seems to run differently for instance I own a black pair of jeans in one size and when I ordered the white pair they fit completely different. Don't even bother doing a return or exchange because the customer is not valued and they will only give some of your money back after you pay for your own return. I'm pretty sure I'm done with this company!
Youtube is my one-stop destination for videos. Let it be a new movie trailer, reviews, or anything, you get it all here. Just their advertisement feature annoys at times, but that's ok :) :)
This site was incredibly useful prior to 2010...
Now Youtube virtually has no competition and chooses to ruin everybody's experience.
WHY IS THERE A GOD DAMN AD EVERY TIME I PLAY A VIDEO? AS IF I CARE ABOUT AMAZON'S ALEXA ADDING "CLEAN UNDER THE SOFA" TO ALLISON'S TO-DO LIST!
WHO THE $#*! CARES?
NOBODY, THAT'S WHO!
Take your ad's and monopolistic b. S. and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.
If you care about your business, don't hire people to write false reviews for $50.00
ACTUALLY DEVELOP A SITE THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE A MEMBERSHIP TO DO WHAT YOU COULD FOR FREE A FEW YEARS AGO.
$#*!s.

Love Youtube, you found anything so easy, create your playlist of videos, i watch live games, live stuff, laugh a lot and learn. Love Youtube also on my XBOX.
My daughter needed tall skinny Khakis so I ordered 4 twill khakis for school on July 25 2016 and used my store credit of 65 dollars. It was back ordered. 3 months passed, I called customer service, they informed me that the orders were cancelled because it was backordered and the CO is changing their accounting system. I said ok, let me have my store credit back then. May 2017, I called again inquiring about the store credit. It was redeemed on July 25 2016. We have no records of it being backordered or cancelled. I am out of 65 dollars.
Did they get bought out? The website is horrible. It's slow and there's so little to choose from. I miss the old Alloy. I guess they couldn't keep up with the current trends. They should have gotten an app for teenagers to follow along because us older gals need the clothes too!
This website is perfect top people who likes to be entertained. It has cool people, Awesome videos and more! Only downside is, cyberbullying...
Youtube feels it can pull any video it chooses for absolutely no reason whatsoever. What they recently did to VetRanch has me beyond pissed. They are an animal rescue group of veterinarians. They have now been forced to blur all "surgeries" even though they always give a warning of graphic content so people don't have to watch it. Very bad decision by youtube. Hate them now. Then they don't listen to your concerns when you tell them.
I ordered from this company for years. But they don't care. Number 1 sign a company is going down is terrible customer service. Basically, don't waste your money and time on their site and their products. I can't tell you how much I hate to say this, because I'm tall and this was my favorite site for buying fun jeans that were long enough for me. But their products are never in stock (even when you think you ordered something, be prepared for the email a couple days later saying the order was cancelled because it is out of stock). Quality was never a strong point - they were cheap, fun jeans that fit, even if you have to use a safety pin to hold up the zipper. But now it's just ridiculous and sad. If you order 5 pairs of jeans, same size, you will be returning 3 because they don't fit. And you will have a devil of a time figuring out how to return them and it will definitely be on your dime. Their customer services does not give a crap. I've tried several times reaching out over the last year, just hoping someone there cares enough to make a response, but no. Well, I did get a boilerplate response on their Facebook page basically saying 'sorry - let us know if you need instructions for making a return' - my post specifically said I had just sent back a return, so obviously they didn't even read my post. My most recent example is ordering 2 pairs of jeans, same style and size. Different color. The waist on one was 3 inches shorter than the other, and the inseam on the other was 3-4 inches longer than the other. And you will pay for their mistake, because returns - packaging, labeling, shipping costs - is all on you. Returns were never great, but they never used to be this bad. How can you be an online apparel company and not have a good returns procedure? So sad, but I won't order one more item from this company.
I'm not interested in makeup, vloggers, or other peoples' lives. It's great that people can make a living just making Youtube videos. I followed a few channels with great content and but since they had to post weekly, their videos started to go downhill. That's fine, I could simply unsubscribe and not complain.
Therefore, I can choose the content I could see, at least most of the times. I watch documentaries, sometimes reviews and tutorials, and other times, looking for abstract or obscure music. Overall, YouTube has a lot to offer, and it's mostly free, so I didn't mind the commercials. But sometimes, they just get out of hand and way too many. I could pay to get rid of the ads or I could deal with ads and pay nothing.
With the content that I watch, YouTube could almost replace paying for Netflix. The content you watch reflects the people in the comments. Nowhere in the music I listen to or the videos I watch ever have negative comments, trolls or pointless internet arguments. It's great. I took off one star, because I don't like the fact that my Google Account automatically makes a YouTube account (with a hidden "ghost" channel).
Answer: Not less expensive if you are looking for tall clothing, however they used to have better quality items. There are other companies specializing in tall woman clothing that I can tell you are worth the extra money. Jeans made of real denim, mid-rise meaning just that, etc.
Answer: Beats me but I can tell you that reporting them doesn't do anything. It took a PETITION to get them (and FB) to get them to remove ONE channel with such content and that's just one channel out of a potential 2 million
