I love your mechanic. It is the best concept since cell phones. I love that I can make an appt after work as late as 7pm and they come to my house work on my car and the cost of the work is any where from half the cost of taking it to mechanic to a quarter of what you would pay taking it somewhere. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and very professional.

I found YourMechanic after a late night Google search for quotes on replacing a power steering pump. After looking up the company I figured to give it a shot.
Cannot stress how easy it was to schedule an appointment to have my car looked at and was blown away by the transparency in the pricing for repair.
Once I got paired with my mechanic, It was a very pleasant experience working with Michael.
I was told from another shop that the power steering pump and hose would need to be replaced and quoted $700. Upon the first few minutes of Michael looking at the car, he found only the hose for the power steering assembly needed to be replaced which was considerably cheaper. No issues, no hassle, or worries with Michael replacing the hose. He answered all of my questions and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He'll be my go-to-guy for all my maintenance request.

This company does not care about you... the car issue was misdiagnosed and the warrantee department supposed to sort it out to the customer satisfaction and the issue is still not resolved. They do not call you back as they promised and they do not respond to emails. When you call them it is at least half an hour wait.My daughter has no transportation for nearly one month and counting... still they do not give a %^$#

If you don't know about this service, please check out their website immediately! I needed a brake job (pads & rotors) and checking with my dealer, the cost would have been $600+. I was infuriated and started to check the web and found "Your Mechanic". The service provides you with an estimate quickly, indicating the type of materials that will be provided, finds you local professional mechanics that will come to your home to perform the work and can cost you 30 to 50 % less than your dealer or other auto repair shops.
I was extremely happy with my mechanic. His professionalism, honesty (said I didn't need the rotors) and approach to the job were excellent. He also to took time to answer met questions about other parts of my vehicle.
The service can provide most repairs and if they can't they'll be very up front about it and say they can't.
Hope you'll try the service and I'm more than confident that you be very happy with the results and save a lot off hard earned cash at the same time!
I am not one to judge anyone. Naturally, as anyone would be with any mechanic, I was quite skeptical. However, what made me follow through with this whole YourMechanic set-up was the start to finish process. I based it on how accessible it was to book the appt online the night before, the breakdown of costs, how easy it was to add services you needed done. At that point, I pretty much held my breathe from the moment Chris arrived until the end and I made it known. Because, until yesterday, I had no idea this service existed. I was amazed and skeptical of this entire process. But, based on the easy process, and how informed and on point with the information, on top of the reviews about Christopher's services, I proceeded with the appt. I am 100% sold on this service and completely sold on Christopher. I'm not sure about the other mechanics within this network but I definitely got lucky being assigned to him. Everyone I have spoken to about this service was very curious since no one has heard of it. They were pretty impressed once I told them the outcome and showed proof. I will definitely use this service and highly recommend Christopher as a top choice. He was very thorough in explaining the service with his skills and experience to assuage me from the get go. So, thank you for providing this amazing convenient innovative car process.
I've used Your Mechanic twice. Both mechanics had excellent knowledge and communication, and were also very nice and caring. I will use them again.
Do not go to this company it is horrible it took two days to get a quote they said would take one day and I had to call and ask about my "and then it still took a few more hours for them to get it like they were never working on it in the first place I received the quote for 308 dollars excepted the "made my appointment gave them my credit card number next day I go to see if I have to verify something and now they're saying the quote is a new quote for $60 more I called the one 800 number Was on hold for 17 minutes and then it took 20 more minutes for them to call me back the lady was extremely rude from the beginning when I asked her why was there a price difference I was told I don't know do you want to cancel the appointment I asked to speak to a manager she put me on hold again for a long time and then came back and said this quote was never sent to me she didn't know what I was talking about I told her I have it in an email right here in front of me I asked again to speak to a manager she asked do I want to cancel the appointment I said yes may I speak to a manager please she hung up in my face I am so over this place! I also called back again after the lady hung up in my face pushed one to be called back 35 to 40 minutes later they called me back it was a man this time told him what happened he said sorry do I want to cancel appointment wow!
This company likes to overcharge and then do shoddy work and they will not honor their warranty... so much for convenience if you think it's convenient to have to call and call and then wait for them to call you back and then have them schedule you an appointment and then for them not even to show up to the scheduled appointment. It's completely ridiculous every time we have to call we have to wait for a phone call back and when we do talk to somebody they are usually rude and then they'll give you the runaround and we have gone back and fourth repeatedly... whoever heard of shocks lasting only three months. That's what the 12 month warranty is for but how good is a warranty if they will not honor it. They want $70 to come look at it but I already took it to another mechanic who diagnose the problem as a locked up strut... totally ridiculous. Still waiting for somebody and their warranty department to call back and schedule another appointment (supposedly)... this is the second attempt at having them fix the issue the first attempt took two and a half weeks so now we'll just have to wait and see how long they want us to wait around. What good is an appointment if they don't show up.? Oh and by the way when I talk to the mechanic who failed to show up 5 hours after the scheduled appointment he tried to tell me things come up and appointments can run longer and he acted like I was crazy for being upset that they never showed up. And it's common for them to miss appointments. That's not a good way to run any business. And then he had the nerve to give me attitude.

***10/3/2016. Update... despite missing another scheduled appointment, they did in fact finally showed up. As far as the longevity of the repair, only time will tell.

Well sure enough the car is having the original issue again... so in fact I paid $575 dollars to have a repair for nothing. Warranty or not I'm done with them.It's as if I threw the money out the window because the car is driving exactly the way it did before the repair. At this point all I can do is have it fixed right at a good shop and cut my losses.

Adrian doesn't try to sell you something when you don't need it, like the stores/shops do all the time. I recommend him highly and will for sure call on him for my next automotive need.
A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER
First, the mechanic screwed up my car. After having my car serviced (oil change and 60,000 mile check up) by a Your Mechanic guy (named Harish) I took it to do some errands and there was a horrible metal on metal scraping sound I kept hearing! So I called the mechanic directly and he told me to TAKE IT TO ANOTHER SHOP to find out what was wrong with it but that he wouldn't be able to come back to fix it until the next day. So I had to drive to my doctor appointment with that horrible sound! Since then I've been calling and sending messages to the company in an effort to get the situation rectified AND I CAN'T GET A HOLD OF ANYONE! I am at my wits end!
UPDATE: I finally got a message today (6 days later) from yourmechanic. They want to charge me $70.00 to come out and fix what their guy messed up in the first place! Un-freaking-believable!
