They are the worst delivery company. The drivers are lying and the aren't doing there's jobs.
I been wanting my parcel since last week but they kept telling that I refused.
Yodel claim my parcel was delivered to a mysterious man my address. There wasn't anyone in at said delivery time! They haven't provided me with photographic evidence of my front door. Not even answering my quires now! Appalling!
I was in the house on three occasions when they arrempted to deliver. Nightmare. I then rang tracking to try and tell someone more instructions to make it easier for them only to be told that my parcel would be redelivered again. This would be fine if it hadnt had three failed attempts already
Got my delivery on time and the driver was very polite. I hear poor service reviews but the driver in the Castlerock area is a gem
Five failed attempts to deliver over five days and still not received - appalling service. They dont derve any star rating or rating should be minus stars but not permissable. About time the Company was investigated for its incredibly poor trading standards.
Order valued £350 was out for delivery on 2nd January but still not received on 7th January. Similar packages received next day with no problem. Address is correct as per Royal Mail and located easily by every other courier used. Attempts to deliver have now been made on 4 days in a row. Eight attempts via Yodel Chatline to expedite the package have all proved useless and not helpful at all. No direct contact possible with Yodel but it appears that the chatline is very remote in S. Asia by the names given. Not the first time I have had problems with Yodel Norwich Depot. My advice - AVOID YODEL like the plague.
I asked specifically for my parcel to be delivered to my apartment door and NOT to be left in the open, communal lobby. In the lobby there is a large sign at the entrance that tells delivery drivers not to leave parcels in the lobby. The Yodel driver put my parcel behind the sign. Absolutely ridiculous, and this could be the third time I've had poor, poor service from Yodel. I have already written to two organisations pleading with them to stop using Yodel as their delivery firm. I would never, ever use them given the choice.
L have got 28 parcels that have been at a shop since the 26th of December waiting to be collected by your courier, l also have another 18 parcels at another shop, ready to be collected by courier, lve approached both shops, and asked them what is going on, and they both tell me the courier says he hasnt got room for them, on his van, most of my parcels are for Ebay customers, and they are now asking Ebay to step in and get refunded, ebay will refund them, and then the parcels may get delivered a week later, then its too late for me to get my money paid back, today is the 5th of January, so some parcels have been delayed by 10 Days, after this, l will go with HERMES again, your customer service is absolute crap, and l will tell others not to use Yodel,
Lies and joke of a company should just be shut down, told my item should been delivered 3 days ago but kept changing won't be sent out today 23rd December. Xmas gift ruined.
But best bit yodel customer service said if doesn't leave warehouse on the 23rd all items that they have left before Xmas are sent back to seller without attempts. So anything prior to Xmas won't be delivered after Xmas.
I have to say I've never in all the time I've been having home deliveries heard a driver speak the way this boy did. Apart from not doing his job and denying it when he was clearly caught red handed and seen, his attitude and language leaves a heck of a lot to be desired. But yodel are not interested. They have the worst customer service going. I'm still waiting for a response from them regarding this matter. One the parcel needed signed for and couldn't be left anywhere. But he took it straight to a neighbour didn't knock at my house although he said he did. I was stood at my front garden at the time and watched him. He then proceeded to put a card through the door saying he'd missed me and started arguing when I questioned why. Then the language that came out his mouth wasn't even fit for a mens changing room after losing a footy match
I'll be contacting the company who use them for this delivery and inform them that yodel is not reliable. I could have easily said I didn't get the item. I didn't sign anything and neither did my neighbour. No wonder peoples parcels go missing as I think it's company policy to just dump them anywhere or with anyone. If you leave a delivery message on the app they ignore it and put stuff in the bin if it's there who looks in the bin for parcels
The service is an absolute scam - the parcel was supposed to arrive on Tuesday and didn't, with no updates nor notifications - the website still shows the package due to arrive last Tuesday.
I am leaving on Monday and today was the last chance to get the package.
I contacted the Yodel support on Friday to find out what was going on and the customer support agent (Mansi Arora) said that the parcel was at the depot outside of Edinburgh, that they weren't sure when the parcel would be delivered, but confirmed that I could pick up the parcel on Saturday 10:00-12:00 from the depot.
I hence went to the depot at 11am as per their indications, and there found a huge group of angry people because the agent at the counter (Leila the name of the agent) would not search for any more parcels and said that most of the parcels could be found and that they would do nothing about it on the day.
I tried to explain the urgency of the parcel, the fact that it was already almost a week late and that I followed the indications of the Yodel online support agent, but the agents there offered no concrete solution to the problem (the staff was standing there instead of going looking for the parcels when they could well have done so).
Tried to deliver to the wrong address (Even though my address on the package was correct). I was sat waiting for it at the front door of my flat complex after being told I was next on the app. They then refused to come back even though I told them I paid extra for quick delivery, because I'm back to work and will probably miss the package until late next week. They couldn't care less. Customer service agent kept repeating themselves and didn't actually try to help me. Even had the cheek to blame me for not being there to accept the parcel even after I told them I was waiting for it at the front door. I'll be careful where I buy things from, If I see Yodel I'll be going somewhere else. Even if it means paying more. They were that useless.
I never received an item from Yodel - they just marked it as delivered in their system. I stayed at home for the whole day waiting for delivery but nobody even tried to deliver, I just received an email stating that it is delivered. CCTV recordings also didn't show any attempts to deliver. Payed nearly £40 for nothing.
Waiting over 1 week and Yodel still have not delivered and worse still, customer service relations team said they will ask the management team to contact Nantgarw depo to locate the parcel... so they are not 100% sure where it is! I have reached out over 4 emails, 3 webchats and 2 telephone calls. Apparently the first driver couldn't locate my address (the post office and DHL don't have this issue), and the second driver apparently "attempted to deliver but left a calling card" because I wasn't in. I was in the house all day watching the tracker, the driver did not knock the door or leave a card. Blatantly lied to finish work early. Don't bother with webchat, you get automated responses and tell you what you want to hear without actioning anything, and save your breathe phoning the customer service line, you cannot speak to anyone and again all automated leaving you frustrated before fobbing you off leaving no closer to a resolve.
I missed the 1st delivery due to a fall. I am disabled and had to go to hospital. On getting a card I rearranged delivery the next dat to a different address, all was confirmed. I tried all day to track but it wasn't updated. I tried to ring customer services but its automated and it doesn't help. I used their chat and twice was told to keep checking the tracking and to remain at the property. By 8pm I used chat again and was told it would be with me at their earliest, I asked which day and she couldn't or wouldn't say, she just kept repeating thank you for your patience, your delivery will be with you at our earliest. By this time my patience had run out and I asked if she expected me to wait indefinitely. And she repeated herself again. Avoid at all costs, they lie have no sense of urgency, make promises they have no intention of keeping and will not speak to you personally. Awful company!
Left a calling card as i wasn't in when i called the company they told me i had moved and changed my phone no was very rude couldn't understand basic English. Follow up call they delivered to my address by mistake no apology cost me £4 in calls shocking company beware sending your items if you want them to go to the right address
Lost 3 parcels that I sent, impossible to get a hold of through their 'Help' department. Their tracking is a joke - parcels just disappear. Didn't get any compensation for lost parcels, effectively called a liar by this company - if a customer tells me a parcel hasn't been delivered but Yodel says it has, without evidence, who am I to believe.
Avoid this company at all costs!
Complete breach of data protection. Left parcel outside unattended and called it a "safe place", of course parcels are going to get stolen, along with personal data. You will not be able to call anyone for help as the robot over the phone will just hang up on you and the online chat assistant will not help you and will tell you to call your retailer instead. Terrible service, will not ever use.
I need to return parcels via Yodel. I have called their telephone number over 20 times being charged for each call - You cannot speak to a human! Their online chat does not work. I have never known anything like it. I will never use Yodel as a courier. If I see Yodel is the courier of a delivery I will definitely not order through that Company.
Waited in all day for the delivery by yodel of my portable tv. It was not delivered to me & even worse yodel told me it had been delivered. I contacted yodel & explained this but they eventually maintained that the parcel had been delivered to the correct address & closed the case.
Said delivery would be Friday however popped up on app that I changed it to Saturday which I did not. Not the first time they pulled a stunt as last time out they said they tried to deliver but nobody home yet my cctv shows nobody came to address to attempt delivery, complete liars and inept. Do not use these clowns you will only be disappointed.
Answer: If you do get through you won't get your problem solved. All you get is it has been raised with the depot, but you still don't get your parcel. Don't even bother with contacting the driver they never answer their phone and they never respond to messages.
