Since opening my account, just over a week / 10 days ago, everything has gone, as you would normally like to expect from a courier company, drop-off shops everywhere, and i even managed to speak to a human, and not a bot, on a Sunday night at 23.05, who solved my query instantly. Nothing but good things to say re YODEL to date,,
Paid for a next day service. I waited in all day and no one came. The app then said delivery had been attempted, which it hadn't. There was no calling card and the only options were to collect from a depot 30 miles away. Yodel are a bunch of deceptive liars. Do not pay for next day... It doesn't happen. Use Evri instead.

Paid for a parcel to be delivered in a drop off near my house and the driver dropped it off 25 miles away from me. Customer service knows about it and been waiting 3 days for an update. No one answering live chat or the phone. Worst most unreliable service there is.
Even the shop assistant said the driver probably forgot to deliver then just dumped at a drop off near them because the drivers are incompetent lazy and useless. Just like yodel as a company.
Awful. I was told my parcel would be delivered between 9.30 and 11.30. Still no sign at all. Live chat "aren't able to track the driver". They have until 9pm to deliver apparently - well then don't issue 2 hour timeslots. Have been trying to use the tracking information but just going round in circles, after being at the same place for 2 hours this morning (presumably having a leisurely breakfast or something). If not here by this evening (they can't "lose" this one, it's a mattress so way too big to be "lost"), or in the event of any calling card to try to cover up the fact they can't be bothered to deliver, will demand a refund from the seller and strongly advise them not to use Yodel under any circumstances. This is not the first time...
Yodel were supposed to deliver on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week - same parcel. Monday we saw the van come to the end of the drive, guy gets out, looks at the house, gets back in and drives away, no attempt to deliver. Minutes later a "sorry you weren't in" update. Since then, nothing but timewasting promises to deliver a parcel that they've clearly lost. Bad service is one thing - repeatedly lying is another.
We were due a delivery on 4th Dect, later updated to 6th Dec.
Itis now 15th Dec and has not arrived.
Took ages to get through on Chatline - timed out 3 times - then assured it would arrive before 9pm on 14th Dec. Did not arrive and still has not - 15th Dec.
Avoid at all costs.
Yodel got a bit better but now we're back in the dark days...why do they give you a delivery day when they know they're not going to have enough time to reach you by 9pm? I'd much rather they just tell me a day when they can actually deliver instead of giving me an earlier day when they can't. I'll go back to avoiding yodel again. Evri are much better these days
Tracking showed 'delivery booked' 27th Nov. Still awaiting today 2nd Dec.

You only learn about a company when things go wrong I would not recommend Yodel, a cowboy company. Ordered item. Told delivery would be 30th Nov, no delivery - Yodel had cheek to say delivery attempted, despite me sitting in all day waiting and monitoring their app which showed the van skirting my road several times from the 'estimated' delivery time of 2pm before they posted their 'apology' for missing me!? Asking me to reschedule. Re-scheduled for second delivery 2nd Dec, no delivery, then third delivery 3rd Dec, again no delivery. Complained to company who sent item and asked to cancel and refund so I can go elsewhere. Their reply? I would have to wait until item returned by Yodel? If they can't deliver to me how are they to return item? Yodel are a despicable company. My guess is Yodel have damaged or lost item, would explain why they didn't attempt delivery. Bear this in mind before ordering from any company using Yodel. Their site makes it impossible to contact Yodel direct, poor despicable company. Avoid at all costs, poorest courier by far!

They did not deliver and started sending me lame excuses, that we could not deliver as we couldn't enter the property
I changed the delivery date and waited the whole day
They did not come and send me the same message
Contacted customer services and they said they don't have it and asked me to contact the supplier

I never had the item delivered
Second time it was an item bought on Amazon. Yodel again did not deliver and said they attempted delivery. I had to get a refund
Third time again they did the same.
Did not deliver and said that they made an attempt. How? Did not ring my flat entry phone system, did not call me and just left without delivering.
Completely unprofessional incompetent and all they give you is a bunch of lies.

It did get a lot better...I used to hate yodel with a passion but they started to sort themselves out but now we're back to the old yodel. You wait at the time estimated...nothing. Then just before you go to bed it changes to saying it's been delivered to your safe space. So at 10pm you're checking all around your house for a package that isn't there. And then the next day the tracking changes back to out for delivery! You cannot treat people like this. If the driver has had enough for the day and can't be bothered to finish their rounds (which is pretty bad in itself) they should have an option to tell the customer this instead of lying about the package being delivered. Would save us checking outside, asking neighbours, contacting yodel etc etc.
3 parcels returned to sender, one given to a stranger, see photo. Could not find my address, strange when I get deliveries from other couriers and Royal Mail. Their chat bots are useless and no real people to speak to. Leave a bad review and it is answered by AI etc etc etc
My recent encounter with Yodel has left me utterly dismayed. Despite entrusting them with the delivery of a parcel, it arrived in a compromised state, with items missing.
What truly astounds me is Yodel's response to my valid concerns. Instead of addressing the issue with sincerity and professionalism, they chose to reply in a mocking manner. This level of disrespect towards their customers is absolutely appalling.
Yodel's cavalier attitude towards their responsibilities reflects a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and basic decency. It's evident that they prioritize mockery over genuine service.
I strongly caution anyone considering Yodel's services to think twice. Trusting your parcels with a company that treats its customers with such disdain is simply not worth the risk.

One of the worst companies. First, there is no simple telephonic conversation facility available, and second, the CEO, management, staff, depots, drivers etc., are worse. They make you fake promises even after explaining the importance of the delivery (I was expecting my medication from them) and they gave me the worst anxiety ever. Businesses and customers avoid them.

No one informed me that I needed to bring the same ID as my recipient's name to get the parcel, and I used to write nickname to protect my privacy. So now I unable to get my parcel and receive the worst response. Customer service will just repeat over and over again that it's their rule that you have to use the correct name to collect it.
In fact, I have the collection code and recipient information and Yodel account to prove that this is my parcel, but they just won't bend the rules. Completely ignoring the customer's needs, they only suggest that I pay for the parcel again, that the parcel is right in front of me but I can't pick it up, that I have to create a new label for an unimportant name. It's wasting energy to deliver it again and create more carbon footprint.

Your delivery driver is incompetent. My surprise gift for someone got "delivered" in a wrong house. Upon seeking help with customer service, I've confirmed the parcel was delivered in a wrong front door to God knows whose front door was it. It's more than 24hrs that have passed and not a kind soul has tried to bring the parcel to my person's front door. Worst case it's already lost.
All the driver needs to do is check/verify the address. What a lazy person.
Also your SatNav is innacurate or pretty off. Customer Service said themselves. Can't do anything about it?

I put yodel parcel shop,after few days they said it's closed, so i texted 100 times, to change the adress,on mine!
They said yes... But didn't...

After, they said-you should change the address!...

I paid next day delivery as it was an important delivery. Yodel made no attempt to deliver and then tried to say the delivery address was incomplete, having checked what they had, it wasn't. They then tried to say they couldn't discuss it with me because of data protection. The driver would have been seen if he had gone pst my house by two famiky members it's a very very quiet country lane, so it he was lost he could have asked but NO. No parcel and i have had to cancell three orders which is massive for a small business. I would never use yodel
Even my dream delivered my parcel in a week after expected date, but yodel still doesn't. Tracking page stoned in the same position as 7 days ago. I was supposed to write by my own and ask what's going on. They just asked "local depot is overloaded, please wait", but i think if you can't manage in a whole WEEK, then your company took too much for it's teeth! Hope it will arrive this new week...
Terrible company, terrible service, lost hours of my life trying to sort this out. Will now avoid for the future because they've been so poor. So difficult to contact anyone through their system. Answer: If you do get through you won't get your problem solved. All you get is it has been raised with the depot, but you still don't get your parcel. Don't even bother with contacting the driver they never answer their phone and they never respond to messages.
