How do I get so many good reviews on my yelp business page but none of them stick for the public to see except the one bad review I get!? Because they have an algorithm that's sh*t!? F**k that! Yelp is the most bullsh*t company out there! They should just give up you guys suck!
Now they are labeling businesses as racist which is very hard to prove and this will be used to black list businesses by competitors and those businesses who goes against certain people's political beliefs. They've recently allowed businesses to be displayed as black owned, but not any other ethnicity owned... racist. They've recently allowed businesses to be slandered as "racist" business only from some random person saying that. Would I be able to anonymously say yelp murders puppies? Nope... especially when nobody could prove otherwise. Essentially they're kowtowing to the "woke" cancel culture and if they're bowing to fascists... they should not exist.
These folks are grifters and dirt bags! Deeming restaurants as racists for defending their customers who are confronted and attacked by Black lives matter groups getting in faces of customers, knocking over tables and food. This won't end well for them. This is criminal! Lawsuits coming!
I run a small business. I have listened to many yelp reps over the years. I do not want to advertise on yelp. I do not wish to be contacted by yelp again - EVER. I seem to be contacted consistently 4 times a year, by a new aggressive sales rep. How many times do I have to say "no" to yelp before they'll stop harassing me?
The new reps are always very aggressive. Being contacted by yelp daily wastes my time. I do not want any more info about yelp. I've already decided. I have been very clear, yet they email me personally, and at my work email, they phone my cell phone and they even phone the business booking line. So much energy and time wasted.
Yelp called to list my business. I listened and said call me back. The rep was so pushy that I hung up. He called me from three different numbers. Dont give them an approval cause its hard to terminate.
Yelp has a horrible reputation unless you pay them, but if you don't they will delete everything from your business. I have had a lot of restaurants being racist upon arrival and they delete those comments when restaurants pay them. It's just not fair, that's like someone committing a offense or assault and get away with the whole thing because they paid there way out of jail. Bad app bad people running it.
Yelp is a FRAUD. They randomly weed out negative reviews to provide misleadingly favorable ratings for terrible businesses that routinely rip people off. I personally have posted detailed negative reviews, only to have them deemed "not recommended," for no apparent reason. A hairdresser friend of mine told me if you don't take out ads with them, they'll publish obviously false reviews written by your competitors and weed out favorable ones.
I recently rented a vehicle from Payless through American Airlines. I requested a midsize SUV, non smoking with GPS. The price indicated in the reservation was $219.06 When I got to the rental car desk the only vehicle available was a 7 passenger full size vehicle that smelled like an ash tray. The cost was $320.82, the attitude of the agent was poor. I was told I needed and "eze pay" service for toll roads which I accepted. However the person that gave us the keys could not tell us how to operate the device and i don't think it worked.
I would strongly urge American Airlines to discontinue recommending Payless as a vendor. This was at Boston Logan aairport.

Yelp is a scam. Yelp was purchased for customers to write reviews. Legit customers write reviews. Have been working asses off to keep afloat during Covid. Customers commented they were unable to give 5 star due to the site! Secondly it appeared if clients hadn't given yelp reviews in the past they were filtered out " inverified". It so years only regular yelp reviewers are cleared to give reviews. Hmmm beginning to sound fishy. Who gives reviews daily unless you are paid to? Lastly, when the decision was made to stop paying yelp all our reviews disappeared. Yelp is a scam. They only want $ from companies and disregard reviews unless they review regularly. Will never deal with them not trust their reviews.

Yelp voted my review of a place I LOVED, as a "not recommended" scam review! And then they had no way for me to contact them to prove it was true! Are you Effing kidding me yelp!? Yelp made it right with me by issuing a repayment of the funds that were taken. They also issued a 300 advertising credit that I never used because of fear that the same problem would reoccur if I used it.
My debit card was charged $214.43. It was not supposed to be charged. I was told that the card would not be charged. The advertisement was a free promotional and in order to create the account they would need my credit card to be placed on file. I let the salesman know that I could not afford to do any advertising because we are a new business and did not have any extra money to spare. He said we would not be charged and that he would personally contact me back in a few days to see if we wanted to proceed with the add. He never contacted me back, and my account went into the negative at the bank when the card was charged. When I contacted Yelp about the issue they were non compliant. I made them aware that the charges were unauthorized. They refused to give me a refund due to the fact that I had given the yelp representative my debit card information. I was mislead under false pretenses when originally signing on with Yelp. My only goal was to register my small business online so that others would simply know that we existed. We are extremely new and can barely afford rent and other utilities to stay in business, this was explained to the representative prior to him placing the debit card on file.
Fraudulent Business Practices The Worst Experience I have ever had! This company needs to be shut down! They take your money. Do not ever, I mean ever do business with them! I spoke to a Sales representative and discussed I would be able to spend $50.00. She said she would put together a program and get back to me. A couple weeks later looking at my credit card bill they charged me $250.00. I requested a full refund they said no! Reject payment with Credit card company they would not refund. I am filing complaints with the BBB, and Attorney General. I will also take to small claims court!
Anyone have an opinion of the Brobia site. Seems straight up-no BS. Looks totally business oriented and it's only 49.99 per month after 2 free months. Really great for small local business and no pay-per-clicks. Has a lot of features like posting jobs, coupons. Check it out.]
Yelp underhandedly and illegally blocks/hides/deletes legitimate negative reviews that would warn/protect the consumer/public from malpracticing/predatory businesses. Shame on you Yelp corporate governance!
