A yelp representative literally just called me and told me she doesnt understand how stupid a business owner could be not to invest in yelp advertisements. She then asked me to give her thirty seconds after I told her I would never put my advertising dollars into yelp. I gave her well over that. I then asked her if I could also have 30 seconds, she stoof quiet. I began to speak and make my point when not even 10 seconds later she rudely interrupted me and said "wait no thats wrong" etc. I paused and said im okay thanks for calling and she then attempted to turn the tables on me like a young child. This is the second time I have been spoken to rudely by a Yelp representative. I understand they are hurting for money and failing as a "virtual" YP, but to call up and push useless adds on us, small business owners, in a purely disrespectful manner is unacceptable.

Yelp is an unjust and unfair rating company. If I could have done 0 star, I would have. We are a newer business. They took the only 2, non 5 star rating and left them up on our business page and removed all of the rest of the 5 stars (13 out of 15,5 stars) affecting the image of our business. And we advertise with them - believe or not?! They claim to be fair which is why they have the software and algorithms that they do but instead they take the worst reviews and posted them instead of all of the other legitimate, good reviews and at least normalize and levelized the ratings. How exactly does this constitute to being fair Yelp? Whoever writes their algorithm has no sense of reality and the blood and sweat people put into trying to survive and do an honest day's work. The company is terrible and the ridiculous, so called 'fair' algorithm is affecting the very livelihood of those trying to advertise with the company. If our good reviews aren't given back in a timely manner, I will make every effort to make sure as many people and businesses don't continue advertising through the company because I will tell them exactly how the company treated our local business.

I took in a chain repair from a customer of my jewelry store. In spite of repeated phone calls and leaving messages, she never showed up. I finally scrapped the chain after 6 months. She came in 15 months later and posted a one star review on Yelp saying that it was her dead grandfather's chain. I told her that my policy was to scrap repairs being left for 6 months. In the review she said I never told her that. But it is printed in bold on the bottom of her receipt, which she didn't bring in to pick it up. I called Yelp and told them I had proof of that on my copy of the receipt which was a duplicate of hers and I could send it to them. Yelp said they didn't care and the review would stand.

Tried to cancel my business account on yelp as they generated no business for me, not one call. There are no options to cancel an account on the yelp site. Called both numbers provided by yelp on the site and was on hold for an hour on both numbers, finally hung up. Was told I could cancel my business account anytime by using the site but that's not true, there are no options to cancel. Cannot communicate with them either on the phone or my computer. My only option at this point is to cancel my credit card so they don't put any charges on it at the end of the month.

I was really considering Yelp, but after someone called me and I told this lady about 5 times I was not interested in doing any advertising with them maybe in the future. She kept on and on saying let me tell you how everything works. And I'm like I told you I'm not interested. She was very unprofessional. Honestly, I got annoyed and finally said you know what I'm busy I cannot keep talking and finally hang up. So I'm definitely not using Yelp and based on the other reviews I've read, they are pretty good at taking money from you. So no thanks!

It's the go-to site for the newest restaurants, plumbers, and electricians. But I preferred yelp's old model of nominating Elite reviewers. The new system is you nominate yourself to be a Yelp Elite and it's up to the community manager to approve your request. The yelp app also has issues with it crashing unexpectedly.

Garbage!

Yelp is HORRIBLE! They kept trying to get me to advertise my company. When I finally decided to do a little advertising, they took more out of my account than what was agreed...$400 more to be exact. Called for my refund, and was told to file a claim. Filed a claim and two weeks later I get a reply, "No refund" You knew you'd set a cap of $999 for pay per click to your account per month. Also we have no access to your account to make any changes. I found that to be BS, because I told the sales rep my bank info etc. The next day all that I told him was in my Yelp account and app, and it wasn't there before. They're full of BS, I had to go to my bank to get my money back. Then three weeks later they take away my good reviews and place some garbage negative reviews about my company both stating the same thing. Call Yelp up, their response is we have sophisticated software that can pick fake reviews. All my reviews were real and true customers. Both reviews came in at the same time on the same day, very similar but their software didn't catch that, huh! The review is a hilarious joke, Yelp and it's worker are garbage.

Two of the same reviews came in at the same time. Found out they loss the money issue with my bank. Yet! Yelp claims the software should’ve caught that and they can’t do anything about it, lol.
This is hilarious, at the same time didn’t make any sense, lol.

Yelp called my phone and want me to walk thru their site with her. I told them I couldn't afford anymore advertising. They gave me $900 in free advertising. They didn't even give me 2 weeks and they took 560.00 out of my business account with no warning. Don't go with the they rob you.

To make a long story short my business cancelled all services with Yelp in may of 2020
Or so I thought when I discovered a few months later that yelp went ahead and debited my business account 3 months in a row without a warning, consent or my knowledge. I spoke to one of their associate who said I had "paused "the account. Meaning it would start over, and that I had spoken to one of their associate which is untrue since my business was closed at that time.
Be mindful of the terminology you use it might come back to haunt you.
I asked for a credit of these services which were NOT ordered but of course was automatically disqualified.
So I asked for my credit informations to be deleted from their systems and I would advise anyone not to leave any vital informations with this unethical company.
Very very disappointed with their methods and the poor customer relationship they entertain with their long time and loyal customers.

It is so disheartening to think that Yelp can take a businesses information and use it to line their pockets. Internet companies have been given too much freedom with business and personal information. Yelp took my business information and basically claimed it as their own and then cried "FREEDOM OF SPEECH". What about MY FREEDOM? Does Freedom of Speech only apply to a business that wants to use another for their personal gain? Yelp will not help the business UNLESS the business PAYS UP. I want my business off of Yelp! Take it off Yelp, If the business doesn't want to be on your site!

Yelp is complete lies and garbage. I had a business several years ago where I got over 20 excellent reviews, and only one bad review. The ONLY review they "recommended" was the bad one, and then tried to get me to buy advertising. At my new business, I had a psycho woman come into my office screaming about her eggs and scaring my customers. When my office manager asked her to leave she went ballistic and left a bad review on yelp. It is the ONLY review on the page. The moderators decided it was fine and refused to take it down. But in order to even request a review, I had to claim the account first, lending validity to their garbage. Then... in order to respond to the lie, I have to upload a picture of myself and the moderators have to approve it. So apparently, they have to like my face enough to allow me to respond to lies posted about my business. The bottom line is that yelp is crap, but they force you to play the game if you want to defend yourself. What's more; you can't remove your site from their website. You can't remove ANY of the information they post unless they approve it. Just WOW!

YELP REP was distasteful

I open a new business and called to ask a simple question and the woman who answered was distasteful. I made a simple reference that TripAdvisor allows you to control your photos without payment and to me and my business TA has way more pull and credibility. Either way she though she would try and insult me by telling me that TA was different than Yelp. Really... I didn't know lol. What kind of condescending bs is that!

I Paid them $900.00 per month for 5-months and their leads are Terrible! No Phone Number, No Address you had to practically beg the person they hooked you up with to look at the Roof, Windows or Siding! I called and called and complained and complained. They had a girl call me and try to sell me more leads with another cost on top of the $900.00! I told her No Way! I'm not happy with the leads now!

Poor Customer Service

I placed an order with LTD Commodities, and the item was not what I expected based on the description provided. I asked for a return label for product the CS agent said I would have to pay $7.99 to return a $13.00 item. Thirteen dollars is a small amount but, imagine if they were allowed to keep $13.00 from every customer that received sub standard merchandise. They could easily become millionaires by sending out poor quality merchandise. I did not agree with the CS reps position, so I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told that there were no supervisors in the building which is also crazy. If CS reps have no authority to make decisions, why would they have employees at work, without supervision. This is my last purchase from this company.

"Algorithm" Smalgorithm

Initially a smart & ambitious idea. However, through the years its clear Yelp's main concern is not helping you find the best companies in your area anymore but to recover at your expense. Recommended for personal use, not for businesses. The "prized algorithm" they used DOES NOT WORK across the board for all types of companies and/or regions. GARBAGE!

I feel stupid for just now realizing yelp is fake until last week. They have some "algorithms" that weed out reviews. I think that may be disguise for removing reviews from people who pay yelp. Then putting 5 star reviews at the top for placesthT pay. I reading all over the web the truth about yelp. Just goggle it! Yelp has it's own local paid employee who writes reviews after seeing places. I feel that is unethical to have a paid person writing reviews for their service. The thing that made me look into yelp in the first place was the negativity displayed to my cousin from the yelp paid person in our area.

I am going to rate Walsh Honda of Macon, Ga poorly. I am especially disappointed with the attitude of the general manager David.
In early December 2020 my wife purchased I used Honda Odyssey. Immediately after purchasing it, she smelled oil. She took it Back to Walsh Honda. They discovered an oil leak. They clean thee oil leak impetus of powder around the stained area and told her to Called them in order to make an appointment to come back in a couple weeks to see if the stain had reappeared. Two weeks later she tried tto call them. She could never get in touch with anyone. No one would call her back.

In early February 2021, less than two months after purchase, Her engine light came on. We carried it back to wash onto. We worked with a service manager named Jay. He was very nice. He seemed to indicate that he wanted to work with us and fix the problem because it was agreed that the engine light should not be coming on this soon after purchase. The next day Jay Was off work. A person named Wayne called us. He indicated that there were problems with the oriole pressure switch and oil pump. He said it would cost $1200 to repair. I told him about thee situation of The vehicle leaking oil at the time of purchase. He told me he would check with the general manager, David, in order to find out what they can do.

He told me back a few hours and told me that the general manager said we would have to pay for the repairs. I did not get thee impression that we were going to get much of a discount if any discount even though we don't have a Van for approximately 6 weeks.
I believe this is a poor attitude for a business to have and I believe it is for customer service. I believe it is a poor reflection on Walsh Honda Macon, GA And a poor reflection on Honda products.

I would not recommend this Honda dealership to anyone and will be expressing my opinion to friends and family about Walsh Honda of of Macon.

Big scam company

Anybody can review a company with a false name and false statements, Yelp reviews are always lower than google because they don't verify a reviews validity. I would never go to Yelp to find out about a company it's all about how much the company pays, not the truth.

I was literally thrown out of Bill Jackson's today because I cannot wear a mask. I am horrified by the way I was treated. This is illegal. No public business has a legal right to force masks on people. I have medical exemptions big time and can't breathe in a mask. I explained that to the resident Nazi but was told to leave the store. I yelled as loudly as I could on my way out and will blast this all over the Internet. It is about time that people must realize that this is COMPLIANCE to the New World Order. DO NOT COMPLY. DO NOT SHOP AT BILL JACKSON'S IF YOU LOVE YOUR FREEDOM. Adventures my $#*!! They obviously care more about the NWO than they do their customers! I will never set foot in that disgusting place again. I talked to the owner while screaming. What an idiot. We have the most CONvid cases in the whole US. The guy is clueless. Cases are not infections but MUZZLES are torture; especially to people with medical exemptions. I give them a MINUS 100!
