With always available discount coupons available online or direct in email from Yankee Candle, there's always a sale going on. I will admit that I had an issue with a candle not staying lit, but customer service took care of that right away by sending me a replacement. The in-mail catalogs have a scratch 'n sniff feature that allows you get a whiff of new scents before you order which I think is a great feature. As I always have one of their candles burning/warming in my home, I guess you can say I highly recommend them.
After a little confusion over the order status and a call to Yankee to clarify what was happening I wanted to update to say that Yankee customer service was very helpful meriting a 4 star update. They answered the call quickly. The nice guy that helped me actually listened to my concerns/complaint and offered excellent customer service with a good resolution. Not sure I will use their online ordering again, but will continue to buy Yankee candles at my local store.
Placed an order online and was under the impression it was 6-8 days shipping. Needed the candles for a gift. Received an email stating they were working on the order and tracking info would follow. 6 days later and no tracking number so call customer service. After holding 20 minutes get told order not even ready to ship, can take 10-12 days then ship out! Asked if I could cancel the order and would go buy in store. Was told no I couldn't cancel. The next day the $100 pending charge was removed from my account. I guess that means they cancelled the order. No email or call to confirm what they did. Off to the store today to buy the gift. If my friend didn't specifically ask for YC I would have bought her something else.
I ordered candles online April 4th. When checking my order, the status had not change. With the understanding of delays with orders being shipped, a response or some type of communication would have been nice. I emailed customer service 3 days later and received no response. Emailed again 2 days later, no response. And still when checking on the website, nothing was happening. My order hadn't even been touched, although they had no problem charging my card. The lack of communication by this company is unacceptable. They don't even have any type of time frames on their website to say that it will take WEEKS to even process an order. Seeing that most people are working from home, you would think an email response would be possible. I even called customer service and spoke with someone who had terrible cell service and eventually ended up hanging up. This has been the most disappointing and frustrating experience ever.
I have been a buyer of Yankee Candles for years but that is changing as of right now. I bought 10 candles to have shipped to my house for our work Christmas party and upon arrival, one of the candles were broke. I have sent multiple emails to the customer service department and have received NO response back at all. I requested a replacement candle and said if needed I would send the broken one back. I work in Customer Service and to see customers issues get unresolved is highly irritating and not up to business standards. So thanks to these lousy business standards one of my co-workers didn't receive a present for Christmas and they now do know why.
I purchased a container and package of scented sticks to go in a bedroom along with several large jars. The sticks had no fragrance and I threw them away. Last purchase I will make from Yankee Candle.
Ordered from Yankee candle did not go through ordered again and did not go through, but charged my account twice and is not coming off for 3 days and still no order, they said I can order over phone. Then would be third deduction out of my account and still not sure if I would get order. Bull do not order from Yankee candle. Women at Yankee candle on phone was rude and un helpful. Told me to call bank. Never in my life have a problem ordering online until yankee candle. Be very very aware of their tactics and rudeness
I have been a customer for over 20 years. Home sweet home was always a favorite but have purchased many other scents over the years. In the past Yankee Candles have always been the best and strongest scented candle I have ever purchased, unfortunately this is not the case any longer. Just to try and prove myself wrong (I was really hoping I was wrong) a week ago I bought 2 of my favorite scents, Home Sweet Home and Autumn leaves. Sadly I was right, Yankee candle no longer has the strong scent that I had been getting in the past years, its price tag for 27.00 for large glass candle is a waste of money. Its sad to see such a long standing company, a family owned company deceive their loyal customers after so many years. Needless to say I will no longer after 20 plus years will continue to be a customer.
I ordered some great sale items online. Received email, shipping today. Then received FedEx tracking number. On schedule. Was supposed to receive November 27. Did not receive, called FedEx. FedEx informed me that yankee candle didn't release to FedEx, only label created and supposed arrival date. Called YC. Zero concern. Zero interest. Zero niceness. Wasn't interested in my FedEx call. Yelled over me and stated it's on it's way and hung up before I could ask or say anything. Shameful, disgust and left me close to tears. I called my bank, they are crediting me and will handle the rest. This was the first and last experience with yankee candle. Horrid.
I placed an order on December 3 and still not received a shipping confirmation as of December 14. I need these ten candles for gifts for co-workers on December 18. I sent an email and a contact through the website and have not received a response. In addition, I called the customer service number and have now been on hold for one hour and 30 minutes.
I will never again shop at Yankee Candle and cannot imagine how they remain in business with such horrible business practices.
For over 15 years me an my family would do a day trip to go see Santa at yankee candle we spent money to eat an bought lots of stuff. This year I find out now you have to pay to see Santa an make a appointment. Talk about scrooge an the grinch that stole Christmas an ruined a family tradition cause there money hungry. This destroyed one of my family traditions so I wanted to tell everyone about the greed. It wouldn't be so bad but it's 12 dollors a person an a appointment. Then.they try to sell you photos an the cheepest ones are 50 bucks. So it would cost me an my family 90 dollors just to see Santa. Ya let that stew a little bit. Not to mention the quality of there candles have dropped big time in the last 3 years. Well that my story you have bean warned. An yes ime upset the time there ment alot to me an my kids. But no more I guess
I purchased two of the large candles and neither of them have any scent when burned. I thought maybe I'd just gotten two duds, but judging my several other reviews, Yankee Candles are truly a ripoff now.
I have been using these candles for at least 15 years and they just don't have the fragrance dissemination they used to. The company blames COVID. Unless everyone in my family has had COVID for a solid 2 years, which is not the case, then their product is failing. I've returned several candles in hopes of the new ones being better. Nope. They're not.
I used to have every scent yankee candle. No issues. Recently I bought some new ones, $25+ and literally cannot smell a thing. I read complaints online about this and yankee swears we all have covid! No, your product is just $#*! now. I know how to properly burn a candle and get a melt pool going. Wick was trimmed and I had a large flame that I had to put out. Also soot damage all over my white walls and mirror. Just awful.
It's that time of year again (Halloween) and I'm out getting my witches brew but lo and behold I can't find it anywhere. I hope you didn't retire this scent because you will disappoint a bunch of us witches. We love, love, love our brew!
I emailed Yankee on January 16,2020 regarding an issue with a cancelled order. Deborah S. From Fundraising, reponded within 2.5 hours. I emailed Deborah today and she called me within 15 minutes. Incredible service AND Deborah was professional, kind & understanding. THANK YOU Debbie for handling my situation so well.
Going back to Bath And Body Works, I have been very disappointed in your Candles. I think that you have changed something. NONE of the candles i have been buying have any scent whatsoever. Home Sweet Home was at one time very strong, not anymore. I have spent so much money in that store it makes me sick that i have candles that i throw away. I was burning Clean Cotton for 9 hours on Sunday and my husband said " another waste".
I have ordered a personalized candle before, but on the medium jar. This time it was for the 7oz jar. DON'T BOTHER! The writing is so small I had to use a magnifying glass to see it clearly. It can't be because of the size, because there is plenty of room.
Was VERY disappointed and will not order again, particularly for the price they charge! Was this candle worth $29.72, shipping included? NO!
I always buy Yankee Candles. I became a loyal customer years ago. Recently I purchased done candles that happened to be defected. After throwing a few away I just forgot about them. I moved and as I was unpacking I found another one that was defected that I kept (for some reason). I decided to reach out to Yankee Candle via email and within 10 minutes I had a response. After sending a picture of the defected candle I was quickly advised that within 4-5 days I will be getting a shipment of candles. I must say that this had only made me happier with them. I love the smell of the candles and hire long they last. I will forever be a loyal customer. Regards Michelle Gonzalez
I ordered tea light candles from Yankee Candle. I'll start off by telling you it seemed a good deal, a box of 12 tea lights was $12 plus buy one get one free, so I ended up ordering 16 boxes (4 different scents) for a total of $96, with tax and handling $102.72. First problem, there was a charge of $27.36 on May 8th, then they charged me the 102.72 on May 10th. Secondly, for no given reason, I assume out of stock, the order of four boxes was cancelled. I have called to try to get the situation fixed, Yankee Candle blames the bank, the bank has heard nothing. I have sent several e-mails, all have been ignored. If you like pleasant aromas in your home I would suggest just burning some cash rather than purchasing from Yankee Candle.
I gave one star because you give no stars it won't let you. I have spent the good part of day trying to order Yankee Candles online by myself which NEVER works. Something I was ordering wasn't coming up with the right price so I reluctantly called Yankee customer service. I was put on hold about 5 times in 27 min and I finally had to hang up because I had things to attend to. They never did solve the problem. So my cart is full on the website and I decided to suck it up because I had 2 $10.00 rewards point vouchers. I put my credit card number in and click on pay and poof my order is gone and I get an error report from Yankee! My order of over $120.00 is gone! My vouchers of $20.00 are gone! No way to retrieve anything!
Answer: The option of personalizing. Unfortunately, they don't have an advanced enough website or customer service group to be able to honor promotional deals and deal with issues.
Answer: Hi I don't know which number you are trying to reach them. This one is the one I called 877-803-6890 twice today and both case someone at least answer. They don't fix the situation but did answer. Also have with you order number, your personal information like address, name, phone. Good luck
