Every time I order Yankee candles online, they arrive broken. What's worse is that customer service doesn't care. I will never order online again.
Not what they are cracked up to be anymore! They used to be average and now they are very poor quality! Not worthy of the high price
My shipment was damaged and I had to return it for a replacement. It cost me $50.50 to return it because they don't supply a return shipping label.
Horrible customer service. Store manager and staff need a refresher on empathy and customer service.
As usual, bought two large Christmas candles this year, Balsam & Cedar and Shimmering Pine. No scent. Will find another candle source.
Been buying yankee for 25 years, not same product, no smell. Bought my last McIntosh apple. Will just do electric candles going forward
The absolute worst customer service. From not having the answer to supervisors not returning calls to NEVER receiving your order!
I have to say, I love Yankee Candles. They always burn the longest and have the best scents. I recently placed an online order with yankeecandles.com and it said 6-8 day shipping. No problem. I received an email shortly after I placed my order that one of the candles was out of stock. Again, no problem, I'll just let my other five candles ship. Then it was crickets. I never received an order confirmation for the other candles and/or tracking information. I also looked up the order information on their website and it still showed candles in warehouse 6 days after I placed my order. So I chatted with them online and they said my order was pending shipment and she clarified that it shipped out and I should receive it any day now. I was asked if I wanted to order a different candle in place of the one that was out of stock and so I did. She called me and took my credit card information and the order was processed. I finally received my tracking information for the initial order and it was JUST shipped out the same day of my complaint. Again, WTF! I also did not receive my order confirmation for the new candle. The next day I received a message on Facebook from a girl with my same name and said she received an email from Yankee Candle that was an order confirmation for MY order. She managed to find me on Facebook by the name, address, and phone number in the email. I am livid. I contacted Yankee Candle and all they said was they have their IT department looking into it but it looks like the system generated an order confirmation to the wrong Megan Bishop. Thankfully it did not have any sensitive information in the email but it very well could have and it would have been completely their fault. I am not pleased with their service and will never order online from them again.
I am writing this opinion I think is important to warn other customers about the danger of using small Yankee candles. As a designer, I am aware that companies should be responsible for what they design, and that products that are not safe should not be sold!
One evening I put a Yankee candle in a warmer like I always do. I fell asleep and a few hours later I woke up terrified in room filled with dark smoke and with a burned closet (see photos).
After almost having a fire in my house, I contacted the company to let them know that something is seriously wrong with their product. I sent them photos of what happened in my house
They said that the fragrant tea light candles have oils that make the fragrance and since it was used to warm up the oil in a closed compartment of the wax warmer, the vapors from the oils in the candle and the oil in the upper open compartment can result in fire and it is a probable safety hazard, so their best advice is not to use a fragrant tea light candle for warming up oil or wax.
They also offered me a big candle for free but I didn't take it. A real problem was ignored by the company, and not by mere consumer service, but by quality control.
It's obvious that people may use that in a warmer as it looks like a regular tea light. It's very misleading because Yankee also sells warmers that look like mine. The information on their website is also confusing and even if the information is written on the candle, I think the company should foresee these problems, which arise from a normal use of the candle.
Also these small candles on the Polish website are called podgrzewacze" and warmer in Polish is called podgrzewacz". So it seems to be obvious you can use them together.
I am not expert but the regular tea lights are in aluminium and I never had problems with them. Even the chapest candles in plastic containers that we use in cementary candles they don't't burn to zero
I am really disappointment I hope that this mistake will be fixed before someone burns their whole house and get hurt.
THOSE JERKS LEFT ME ON HOLD FOR 3 HOURS. I HAD ONE OF MY CANDLES TOTTALY SMASHED. I HATE THIS PLACE IM SO SICK OF THIS CRAP.
I placed my order and received my order in a very quick and easy manner!
Can't get a replacement or can't BUY a replacement basket. Called. Emailed. No help at all...
Answer: The option of personalizing. Unfortunately, they don't have an advanced enough website or customer service group to be able to honor promotional deals and deal with issues.
Answer: Hi I don't know which number you are trying to reach them. This one is the one I called 877-803-6890 twice today and both case someone at least answer. They don't fix the situation but did answer. Also have with you order number, your personal information like address, name, phone. Good luck
