So if you're 2 minutes late coming out they can charge you for it. If they are 2+ minutes late picking you up the price sure does not go down. As you're standing in the cold watching them turn around several times etc.

Don't work for this scum of a black corporation. They don't care about anyone but themselves. If you want to throw yourself into debt, Lyft is here to do that. If want to remove Lyft HQ, follow my name. We already have petitions to remove this unholy business from America. And we have more jobs than them. We have time and half after 40 hours and holiday pay, plus paid leave. You think about it.

Don't work for this scum of a black corporation. They don't care about anyone but themselves. If you want to throw yourself into debt, Lyft is here to do that. I travel frequently for business. I took a trip vía Lyft to PDX airport and believe my keys were accidentally left in the drivers car. I was not allowed to call the driver directly and the driver never responded to my cha messages. The customer support team was not helpful at all and just seemed to try and pacify me. The did not help me get in contact with the driver and ignored several of my chat messages initially. I will not be using Lyft in the future due to the terrible customer service.

I ride with left as a service that my health insurance provides (cigna) i ride to the fitness center most every day and my only complaints is if they do not find a driver for me right away they drop my request with out telling me. Well i still need a ride home. Is there a way to fix this kitchen?

This service is nothing more than a virtual auction to see who will pay the most for a ride! We got tricked into clicking for a $10 per mile ride (all the other offers were much higher!). Then they kept changing the arrival time until it was eventually 75 minute wait while we stood on the curb! When we tried to cancel, it was too late.

I sent for a Lyft and had 4 different messages one on the way and the last the driver left. I'm standing outside of Forman Mills with my youngest. When I received the driver is here I'm searching and calling him then I received a message in 27 seconds the driver left. I paid almost $20 and Lyft wanna give me back $8.50. How could a business making millions have a need to steal like this. How can the government allow them to have no number for clients.i was so cold I text wrong but I meant I did screenshots the $18.99 Lyft took they only wanna give back $8.50.if they're allowed to do this we all fail ourselves so I'm going to the major station tomorrow to help others fight this. It would've helped if I was able yo speak with somebody about this but there are to many complaints on Lyft and nobody helps people screenshot all they're messages. They even have drivers that dont have their license renewed and having accidents. I personally know about this cause it was my sister thank God I was there to make her get & keep all that info. Lyft how much money is enough for you to loose. The law does not do a good job at keeping citizens safe. Hopefully a lawyer will find this message and reach out to shut them down. They love complaints here but who helps

I was in a Lyft leaving the hospital with my child, while riding the driver kept texting and driving. Red flag number one because I've never had that happen in a Lyft. When I noticed we were going the wrong direction I reiterated to the driver where we were supposed to be dropped off, he just kept saying no and showed Me a picture of a man on his phone and said "my friend, my friend" I yelled at him to stop and let us out! I was so freaked out especially with a young child with me. Lyft customer service offered no support, they kept messaging me from what was obviously an automated help chat, because they give you basic robotic response asking the same questions. It was bizarre and I felt so unheard. I will never use Lyft again. Uber here we come haha

My sister told me of Lyft. I began using it I thought it was good at first until automatic payments were being taken from my bank account by them and I wasn't even using their service. I uninstalled and unsubscribed, my bank had to freeze activity on my account because Lyft would not stop taking money for me. No customer service line also. Big scam, I'll stick with Uber.

So this crackhead $#*! named wanda came acted like she picked me up an also acted like she dropped me off at my destination aswell i told lyft she never came but they wont refund me smfh i did message her if yur in Columbia sc do not ride lyft and do not accept a ride wit a $#*! named wanda. Thats some crackhead $#*! $#*! to do WANDA!

Do not ride with a Charles from Philadelphia. Stole my phone that was left behind and even Lyft(employer) cannot contact him. MIA! And good luck with customer service...since it is non existent! Charles in the are of Fairmont, Philly and west deptford nj. I was told by lyft to contact authorities... What does that tell you.

I order a ride with lyft the driver doesnt say your in the car. U take your ride in under 5 mins and your still charged a extra fee and your already at your home. I disputed it for them to still charge me. My boyfriend uses lyft for work and at least once a week they charge him for a extra ride and never give him his money back. You all need a person to take complaints and we want all out money back you all steal extra fees based off your drivers saying we are still in the vehicle or we took linger then the 5 mins to return back to the car. Bad business all the way you need to fix this problem. Tired of being charged extra off your drivers inability to say we in and out there vehicles to be paid more.

Tip for consumers:
This happens ant least once a week with myself or boyfriend them holding fees and not returning them or over charging for the ride if its a return trip to your destination even if its within the 5 mins they give you to take care of your business before your left or charged another charge but if its within the 5 mins they shouldn’t be allowed to upcharge for a ride you took

I tried and tried to get a good enough picture of my registration and nope. They never excepted it. Over and over for days. Uber on my 1st attempt passed my registration photo. Lyft is just so difficult it sucks. Never try and work with these people. No help no assistance no nothing. Just kept telling me to send it again and again

I have been with Lyft for over 4 years. I have a Rating of a 5-star customer. I run a business in Florida, and I am highly upset that my last ride I did not tip because of several reasons. The driver before him got lost and never answered my messages on where he was at several times and then drove off but still charged me anyways. When I wrote a bad review on both of these drivers. One of them made false accusations and now they deactivated my account. Be AWARE OF THIS SHADDY COMPANY.

I just tried to get a Lyft after work because I didn't want to wait 20 minutes for a bus, the app said the driver was 3 minutes away, I waited 6 minutes watching him go in circles. I'm starting to think because the drivers don't get all the money the drive around till the customer get aggravated and cancels for the $5 cancellation fee. Plus this has happened to me a lot this year

Horrible, hacked, overcharged, rude Middle Eastern, horrible no show or wait hours for less than 6 miles away, mos5 expensive crap ever, driver got lost, and robbed me in Nola, never again, I'd rather walk, bus. Spent over $350 and never refunded, charged me cancelation fees for them never showing up, no customer service, all in Cali no wonder

I left my iphone in a Lyft car. Within an hour I got on the Lyft website to report the lost item. Lyft is in constant contact with its drivers, so this should have been an easy procedure. After an hour, I called. Emma took my info. Several hours later, no word. There was no way to get an update on my original request, so I put in another. Lyft sends you an automated response acknowledging they received the request, but no one actually responded with anything substantive, like attempting to contact the driver. The next day I called again. Evangeline took the same info, but made no reference to any previous request or telephone call, even though she had my account info. Four days pass and no substantive response from Lyft. I submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, within hours I receive a call from the driver, who told me that he only received one call on Thursday, (incident was on Monday). He had put the phone aside and figured that someone would contact him about it.
Then, to top it off, Lyft told the BBB that they had been trying to contact the driver all week. You can find the full detail at BBB Complaint ID: *******.
I am still trying to figure out why Lyft would go to so much trouble to be that uncaring about its customers. Maybe since they are out of San Francisco, and people don't care enough to even clean the streets, why should Lyft employees care about anything? This is what happens when a country rejects God.

This company has gone downhill quickly. They have charged my card for services never signed up for nor authorized and you cannot reach them via phone. They want you to email for which on the past 2 weeks I've been passed off to 7 different people whom none helped or even attempted it. I'm going back to real taxi drivers.

Why you should use Uber over Lyft when it's possible? If you take 2 rides in a 24 hour period they bill you separately for each ride. They immediately combine both rides on a third bill until the first and second ride falls of your card tying up your available credit for up to 2 days. Extremely poor customer service and Uber does not practice this double drop off billing. Its why I will not tip a Lyft driver but will tip Uber drivers.

On May 3rd, around 4 am, our Lyft driver said he needed to stop because of a low pressure light. Since it was in a dark, secluded area, we felt unsafe and declined his request. He completed the first drop-off at the Southwest departure counter, but then refused to take me to my designated stop at the Delta departure counter, even though the extra stop fee was already paid for.

This left me frustrated and concerned, especially considering the initial request to stop in an unsafe location. Lyft denied my request for a full refund, offering only a $5 credit. This lack of an acceptable resolution is disappointing. In my opinion, a full refund should have been granted since the driver refused to complete the agreed-upon trip, especially after we declined his unsafe stop request.

Why do y'all charge me $60 sometimes $80 to go down the street? When usually it's about 15. 17… and I have to have 3 more words for my complaint to be submitted like dang, ion got a lot to say but that's wild and a proves my point

Lyft likes to steal money from its consumers! I had a ride for this weekend during Christmas and Lyft put an extra hold as an additional charge on my account for those two charges as one! They refunded me partial that amount and charged me again! They have 33 dollars of my money that they stole! Please do not use Lyft they are thieves! I already contacted fraud! I even have proof $#*!ing thieves!

Driver took his own route and caused me to miss my flight. The flight charged us $200 to catch the next flight and the Lyft agent said as long as we got to the airport is all that mattered and refused to assist us in our money back or anything. I hate Lyft. This is why I always caught Uber. The customer service is wayyyy better.

I'd called my Medicaid provider for medical transportation. They couldn't even tell me who was supposed to come get me. I'd had just a general time frame, then no one showed up until maybe fifteen minutes later and left while I was on the phone, only to find out it was somebody from Lyft. I had no number for Lyft, only found out what kind of vehicle to stand around in the frigid cold for at the last minute. Lyft tried to send back the same driver, who'd cancelled to pick up his Kid from McDonald's, the second they'd sent cancelled as well. An hour after my appointment was scheduled for their messaging system had still been attempting to summon a driver. The doctor's office was already closed by that time, and they only give you a ten- minute window to be late before they'll refuse to see you anyhow. Had to cancel and reschedule. Made the breakdown of my car just that much more difficult. They let the drivers cherry- pick whoever or not to pick up. Perhaps just because the fare would be less. Thanks piles, Lyft! Never again...

Tip for consumers:
Poor communication. I'd been told that Lyft would have told me who and in what the driver would be in when they were on their way.
