I should have read the reviews before joining the Membership! A waste of $50. My first order was delayed for months. What I did receive was very good. I received an email with a coupon code to make up for the delay. When I tried to use it, again my order was not shipped after over a month. When I contacted them to find out why they just cancelled my order. I cannot get through to customer service. The person that helped me on chat stated she wasn't getting an answer, to call customer service later in the week. When I called, I wasn't even given the option of waiting on hold, I was just disconnected due to the long line of unhappy customers!
I ordered 2 wine and cheese sets only to find out that they do not come as shown in the picture... and arrive on different days. Wine one day. And as of now, they were unable to tell me when the cheese was going to arrive. Very disappointed.
I received a gift card from my nephew for wine.com. First, it's not easy to add the card to your account. After talking to their rep I was finally able to do this and ordered 2 wines. Two weeks later I received a message (from rep Eric Brown) that one bottle was not available and they were going to ship just one. I immediately responded and asked them to add another one of similar value to save on shipping charges of the second bottle. There was no response and a day later I received a message that only one bottle was shipped. Later I found that they used only a small portion of my gift card and instead charged my credit card. I did not want to deal with them any longer and asked for a cash refund of my gift card, which they refused.
Agree with all other reviews. Customer Service department must be furloughed. No way to connect by phone, email or chat. Late one night last week I was 55 on the chat queue and waited about an hour. Did get a chance to chat... computer system migration at fault blah blah blah. They subbed an out of stock bottle and said it would ship 10 days ago. Ha ha! Nothing. AND I received a $75 credit for future orders which are not going to happen. I wish I had my $50 back for a year's delivery fees.
If you have a small order and free shipping, you are rejected. They claim it is your CC, but I called Chase twice and used 2 separate cards, and Chase assured me it was the merchant. It is a scam… forget them.
I have been a Stewardship Member for over 10 years, and have purchased numerous cases of wine from them. Now, when I need them, their Customer Service is non-existent. But then again, their is no Customer Service at wine.com.
Beyond disappointed. 11-30-2020 ordered a Christmas present to be delivered Dec. 18th. When that date came and it still hadn't shipped, I emailed customer service, no response until 2 days later saying they are not sure why it hasn't shipped, she'll get back to me. Today is 12-21-20 and it still has not been shipped. I called customer service, they said they can not guarantee Christmas delivery, because it was so late. I ordered almost a month before Christmas! I asked to speak to a manager to see if they could overnight, but no one called me back. What the heck?! Completely unacceptable when your spending over $200 there. They have NO customer service. Look elsewhere for wine delivery.
Ordered oc1 1. Was told (and still says) expect to receive oct 5. Today is oct 17. Called and chatted multiple times. I'm told this is due to an implementation of a new inventory system. Any successful company has a rollback plan in case an IT upgrade fails. Can't understand.
My order is for 31 bottles. Can't get an estimated ship date. This is not how you run a successful business
Loved this company up until this last order. Ordered 8 bottles of Tequila on December 11th. Ths site says ships out tomorrow. Waited a week because the order didn't ship. Called to no avail because nobody answers, finally got a virtual service person 1 hour later. Told that they didn't have 2 bottles of tequila so they held the whole order up? Would you not have notified me this. Was told on December 18 they would expedite my order. January 5 still no tequila. Over 2 weeks! Finally get a hold of a live person who apologized and told me they dropped the ball. "Can I speak to a supervisor?"Told there was none available but one would call me back. Nobody every called me back. Really you can't get me the Tequila but on the site it is there and says it will ship tomorrow! Such a crock. Prior to this i have had 5 or 6 orders no problems. No service, no product this company sucks! As a bartender and drinker i highly recommend you avoid this company.
You cannot reach anyone by email. Phone, or chat. It's like they have left Califonia. Prices are not that great and I swear the wine in the bottle is not what is on the label. Paid a $50 1 yr unlimited delivery fee and will not order since I can see on Trust Pilot, there are many reviews of them charging peoples cards and not delivering any wine. I can see they have been reported to BBB and they have not had the decency to respond to the complaints. Sound be zero stars.
I ordered a few boxes of franzia moscato and it took a month to come in and it was the wrong order. Reached out the the company with no response. Will not be buying from them again be wary
Bought one bottle of wine. It was never delivered. Wine.com bombarded me with email after email. Harassment! I found the bottle I ordered at my local Hy Vee for $7.00 less than Wine.com and I actually got it.
After legitimately purchasing 1 1/2 cases of wine, we continued to be sent subsequent cases to the tune of $4000 worth of charges to our credit card. Trying to get these cases returned and then getting credits to our cards took over a month of almost daily calls! Finally, with all of that resolved, today we just got an email that they attempted to send us more wine (THAT WE NEVER ORDERED!) but that it was undeliveralbe. Thank heavens! We now have to check our credit card statement daily, praying that no charges were made.

Do not buy anything from them, they intentionally send you the wrong Items then make it very difficult to return, they do not have what they say they have.
We had 2 successful orders with them but now in Sept they have imploded. What they call "system enhancements" is a 100% bungled and botched order entry system rollout. They cannot process anything and falsely claimed our order would arrive 3 days after order. Now 7 days later it still has not shipped and their customer service is horrible. Avoid them. Terible.
Placed an order with an estimated delivery date 6 days from date the order was placed. The order was delayed (fine, it happens), but 1) they never notified me of the delay, 2) their rep told me it was going to ship the day I contacted them (it did not). 3) the send rep assured me it would be delivered on Tuesday (which, according to the FedEx label they created is not true), and 4) because I wasn't informed of the delay, the recipient will likely not be home to sign for it (and I can't cancel the order now),

I've used this company for years with zero complaints. However as of September 2020 the train went off the rails. They take your money, and never deliver the product. When you call Customer Service, you're on hold forever and ever -- no one takes your call. When you email asking WHEN the wine will be delivered... they LIE. They use ann excuse about a "new ordering system" or some glitch with their technology, and (I'm serious) they literally CAN'T tell you when your order will be delivered. I finally cancelled my order back in September, logged onto another website, and BAM -- my wine order was delivered in 4 days as promised. So now it's November, 2 months later, and I thought maybe I can give Wine.Com a try again. NOPE. Just go online and read the reviews. It's not any better, actually it sounds like it's worse. HOW DOES THIS EVIL COMPANY STAY IN BUSINESS?
UPDATE: I have ordered from them a few times since, without issue. I found that it's best to place small orders of just a few bottles at a time so that if one bottle is out of stock it doesn't cause your entire order to be delayed for no apparent reason. I am updating my previous review of 2 stars to 4.
I placed a couple of orders in the spring of this year, and all went well (except for issues with FedEx, but that's a different story). But now, I have placed an order that was supposed to be delivered two days ago and according to their website it hasn't even been shipped yet. I see now that there are tons of negative reviews for them in recent months. I tried to contact them for an update but I just get a canned response which still says that my expected delivery date is two days ago! I guess something bad has happened to this company (are they in the middle of the forest fires?) and we may never see our orders! Oh, well, so much for their year-long "steward' membership. Money wasted, apparently...
I asked for guidance and support and was told by the rep based on my order that it would be delivered on the 23rd. I asked chat several times as this is a gift and I am going on Vacation and wanted it delivered on time. I never received an update until I checked NOW and it will not be delivered on time. I paid a fricken lot to have them shipped and was a mistake in using this company. They are awful and I will never use them again. Go to total wine or anywhere else but them. They have bad reviews and I should have checked before making my purchase.
