In whole my life I never had this bad experience. The product - oven is poorly designed, the company doesn't care about people or their satisfaction at all. Never ever buy or even consider Whirlpool for your home appliances.
I've bought several whirlpool washers and dryers and every single one is a piece of junk. Their warranty department covers nothing no matter what they promise. The stores that sell these, Lowes, Menards, etc are no help at all and should stop selling this junk. Seriously this stuff barely lasts a year.
I have the above dryer purchased 3 years ago. I had to get a service call because the machine did not run. It turns out the display unit is bad. Hard to believe that after only 3 years a part like this ($250) is no longer working. I tried Whirlpool customer service line, requesting a replacement even though it is out of warranty. I was denied. I now know what kind of company I am dealing with and will no longer buy any Whirlpool products Customer service like this is killing the brand! Whirlpool management...wake up
We have had whirlpool refrigerators in the past and were happy with them. But now is a different story. Their new technology is not working for me. My new refrigerator whistles and wines. And whirlpool says that this is normal with my new refrigerator. This happens every time that it runs. Very annoying to us and our pet.
I bought a whirpool microwave recently and it has worked well so far with even reheating and defrosting in particular. The only issue I have is that it just doesn't look nor sound like it was well made with quality materials. I'm not sure where it was manufactured (most likely china) but it looks cheap and it doesnt sound sturdy when your opening and closing the door. I only wished it felt and looked like what I had actually paid for.
As far as i knew the whirlpool company washing machines are the world's best washing machines because of the quality and also there are various types of washing machines are available based on the user's needs they can choose the type of washing machine they needed at moderate cost.
The glass shelfs on the WRT311FZDB02 need to be a quarter of an inch wider. If shelfs shifts a little it falls off the support on either side. I have ordered some white trim that will slide over 1/8 inch thick for both side edges to prevent shelf from falling. I already had two shelfs slip off supports? I have included photos in addition I have added two types of trim that I have on order to see what works best to add to overall dimension width of shelfs for the safe use of.
Whirlpool had a reputation for excellent products so that eased my appliance purchase angst, at least until a poorly engineered and defective refrigerator arrived. It took a full month to access anyone at Whirlpool to make minimal effort to placate me, but not fix anything. The phone number hidden in the warranty literature is answered by an automated attendant, which promises a personal phone call 5 days hence! Of course the phone call never comes so without any person to whom to talk, chat online or email access, this customer is left with a defective refrigerator which cannot be repaired locally according to the Ace Hardware technician from which I purchased the refrigerator, and without any assistance from Whirlpool. Can any conclusion, other than Whirlpool intentionally blocks warranty responsibility, be reached?
One has to call the general information phone number on Whirlpool's website, which requires dealing with the useless automated attendant and I personally then waited 50 minutes on hold to speak to a rep who just told me to request an appointment online (none available in my area within the 28 day window Whirlpool allows). Persisting, the rep finally authorized a 'manual' request for service for me but the same verdict was reached 3 days later when their Master Technician explained that he's seen the same defective product sold by Whirlpool for 2 years and when he's submitted his request for a remedy, his colorful language assured me that he's also completely ignored by Whirlpool. I've attached photos of the defective refrigerator door, which will not close without being slammed hard. Another photo of the 'door ajar' red light shutting off while the door is still open over an inch suggests that Whirlpool knows very well of the defect and has adjusted the 'door ajar' light to extinguish with the door open so the homeowner thinks everything is OK. What a horrible company it's become!
We recently purchased a Whirlpool fridge, washing machine, and dryer. The fridge broke within two years (compressor went out) and now the washer is broken and needs to be replaced (just two years old). They won't warranty their washers for over 1-year which should tell you all you need to know. I would not recommend this brand to anyone, worse than Samsung (who is bad) and LG who is also bad.

We purchased a new dishwasher from Lowe's. On delivery they forgot the hose's. We drove to Lowes to pick them up. Finally we got our dishwasher hooked up. We ran 5 loads of dishes and water started pouring out the bottom. Called Lowe's and they stated that they just moved up there return policy to 48 hours because so many dishwashers were being returned. Called whirlpool. They sent someone out. He ordered the part it needed to be fixed. Now 2 months later and many calls I still don't have a dishwasher. Never ever! Buy a whirlpool or Maytag!
We have a washer cum dryer faulty and the service guy suggested we replace a whole unit which we agreed, after more than 3 weeks and at least 3 chaser calls to them, still their sales team didn't even bother to call us and recommend a similar model. They seem to be not interested in doing a repeated customer business! Very lousy customer service! Not recommended to buy Whirlpool! Especially from Singapore!
Very dangerous. Overheating to where you can't even stand in front of the stove. I'm afraid it will catch me or something in my house on fire. The right, front burner is overheating once it is turned up past low-medium. It is so hot, I can not use it, and it's very dangerous. It is only 4 years old. Whirlpool customer service suggested I pay for the service call because it's out of warranty, or buy a new one. But I no longer trust the Whirlpool name / brand.
I bought both appliances at the same time. I have had my refrigerator serviced twice in the 1st year because the ice came out on its own and the floor was always wet. Right now the cooler system seems to freeze and is not making ice. The stove/ air fryer-oven is not working, it is giving an error code, I turn it on and 30 seconds later it turns off by itself. It's very frustrating because both appliances are practically new.
I live in Ohio. Bought my whirlpool washer 8 months ago. Still under warranty. It's been 2 months since it broke. HORRIBLE service. We are currently renting a washer. I will never buy another whirlpool appliance.
Ordered a replacement part for my stove and the ones that arrived did not fit. Call for an exchange and the customer service is horrific. They do not do exchanges. Apparently I am supposed to be a mind reader and know the part # to my part CHANGED. Hence why what I ordered did not fit. Ridiculous, now I have to PAY to ship it back myself for a partial refund. For someone who has a house full of Whirlpool products I will NOT make the same mistake again and purchase from them in future. Definitely do not order ANYTHING from the website, their terms is ridiculous and a very fast way to lose a customer such as myself! Too many companies with good customer service to waste your $ on this crap. No wonder they are only 1 star! I would give 0 if it was an option.
Worst experience and customer service I have ever experienced. Our new refrigerator quit working after a month on a Saturday. No customer service help on the weekend so we had to go buy a brand new apartment size refrigerator to get us through until Monday. Called whirlpool the earliest they could get us a whirlpool technician was 13 days later. Now they just pushed it another 2 days and when I call whirlpool to see if they can help get me technician sooner they hand up on me. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT AGAIN.
I posted this on the whirlpool.com website this morning and seriously doubt it ever go public so I'm posting it here as well - ordered the dishwasher in December 2022 and it was delivered January 4th 2023 and has never worked properly -
Brand new refrigerator that gave us troubles not even after a month. Ice maker quit working and now condenser going out. I have waited about 2.5 months for parts to come in and they have no idea when they will be in. Don't waist you money on this brand, you will regret it. We're out $3000. They will not make this right by replacing this lemon. Pretty much stole our money; terrible customer service.
I don't know how this company is still working. It should have been shut down. No manners in employees. No value of anyone else's time. No empathy at all. Both service centre and customer care is same. If there is anything more below than worse than it is whirlpool. I recommend not to buy even the smallest or the cheapest product from them. I know I am not going to because they are literally THE WORST.
I bought a dishwasher directly from the company. It stopped working 11 months later. There was no Whirlpool technician in my area so I had approval to use my local one. I paid out of pocket with a promise of reimbursement and 3 months later I have received less than half of the money for my expenses. Emails and phone calls have been ignored. NO MORE WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES FOR ME. BUYERS BEWARE!
Answer: I've called 1st thing in the morning and gotten through w/in 12 minutes at other times have waited between 1 and 2 hours. You read that correctly and it's not an exaggeration. I've spoken w/ professional, empathetic CSRs and unprofessional ones and none with the authority to respond outside of a narrow script. Supervisor s will not talk to customers (even if the problem has not been resolved after 4 months.) Customer Service is the number 1 reason NOT to buy a Whirlpool product!
