My parents have a whirlpool washer and it quit and now they are giving them the runaround about it. One day it's we'll get on it and get a ticket started for you to exchange it then it well will get back to ya in a few days then it well you find someone and we'll give ya maybe around 200.00 to get it fixed there's no one in this area and they don't want to do their jobs this thing is still under warranty
We have had whirlpool refrigerators in the past and were happy with them. But now is a different story. Their new technology is not working for me. My new refrigerator whistles and wines. And whirlpool says that this is normal with my new refrigerator. This happens every time that it runs. Very annoying to us and our pet.
I have an extended warranty contract with Whirlpool Dishwasher for 3 years. The technician of 3rd party agency which Whirlpool has a contract has visited my house about 12 times in last 2 years to fix my dishwasher but still the issue persists. They don't have any clue what's going on and they will just keep scheduling the appointment of technician without taking any concrete action just to add to customer's frustration and irritation. They don't care if you are doing your dishes for weeks while your dishwasher is not working. I would never recommend to go for Whirlpool dishwasher and also a big no to go for extended warranty contract with them if already you have one. The follow up, scheduling of any warranty related service with them is really painful.
I contacted Whirlpool to order a water softener WHES40 & was told the price would be $843 less a 20% discount. Upon attempting to order the unit I was given a discount code to enter when placing the order. The discount code came up as invalid. After re entering the code multiple times no discount was applied. I eventually spoke to a representative who advised that there is no discount on new water softener units only parts. Having representatives giving out incorrect information on pricing is a bad business practice & reflects poorly on your organization. I will never attempt to order through your website again.
Whirlpool is the lowest of the low. Customer service is non existent. I see so many swearing they will never buy another Whirlpool product. (Me included) But be aware Whirlpool owns several companies. Here is a partial list. Maytag. (Remember when Maytag was a quality product?)Kitchen Aid, Jenn Air. (Remember when Jenn Air was top of the line?) and Roper. These are just some of the companies they own. Whirlpool is a giant cyclops of an corporation gobbling up everything in sight. Then they destroy all the good will these companies worked so hard to establish by lowering the quality and abandoning customer service. They do not care about the customer. Period. Quality appliances are not a priority with them. Period. So please be careful when you purchase your next appliance.
I built a new Home in 2019 put Whirlpool Appliances in separate 30" fridge and 30" freeze built in my cabinets now as of 5-4-23 my second refrigerator replaced one in 2021 just died and in 2021 my Wine and beverage cooler died all purchased in 2019.
Whirlpool refused to even send out a service guy so my advise is stay away because when the warranty expires they Die and every time it is a Freon leak that can't be repaired
So after around $10'000.00 and a lot of frustration I will not Buy Whirlpool to this time
The past 4 years I chose your brand. I have heard everything was good with Whirlpool appliances. I've owned Microwave, Dishwasher, and Oven. Which all died one year after another. I have owned your Microwave for 3 years and 2 mos. Which started humming and stopped heating. I owned the dishwasher for 4 yrs which turned out to have a leak causing my whole island to rot. Now today after 4 years our Electric Range. So now I have nothing positive to say about your brand just so you know you lost a customer.
Absolute shocking company such a scam. Suppose to get my dishwasher seen by an engineer who's not turned up 3 times on different occasions, first because they couldn't find the booking, second because there's no one in my area and thirdly because the van broke down these have been weeks apart. On top of that customer service were absolutely useless not helpful at all couldn't say anything apart from no one is in the area. When trying to get through to customer service they like to hang up on you and send you round in circles and to different people who send you back round in circles it's an absolute joke.
I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator on 10/9/22. Today 11/17/22 repair people recommended by Whirlpool says it needs a compressor. The warranty says repair. They will not take it back. Compressor on back order.
Purchased a Whirlpool Fridge Model #WRS312SNHM a couple weeks and immediately had issues with it. It does NOT have legs and the wheels do not properly lock so the fridge moves when we use it. The door also swings violently open and rattles everything around causing all of our stuff to fall over and break! We had a technician come out and he basically said there is nothing he can do as it is just poorly designed! We want to return our fridge and called Whirlpool with the notes from the technician and they refuse to replace the appliance with a better one. How a fridge like this made it to market I have no idea. Within in a year the door is going to break from swinging open so hard just from opening it gently! Buyers beware - not only is this a cheap and terrible appliance but their customer service is horrendous!
Bought a Maytag dishwasher the failed in six months. They provided a one year warranty but no support on that warranty after 4 weeks. First call to get support they schedule us for a repair three weeks out on Thanksgiving Day when the repair contractor wasn't working.
Can't get a straight answer on when anything will happen or when we might actually see some sort of repair.
I have been trying to get ahold of someone about my washer. I try thier chat, it's AI then you have to wait for a person and I never get anyone. You cant get ahold of a person. I called hte 800 number - it's in canada and I pressed 1 for US and then I followed directions and all of a sudden it stops letting you press numbers - then i get a text to visit whirlpool.com/service to schedule service on my appliance but it doesn't allow me to do that. I have not been able to discuss with anyone the issue and see if it's covered (which it should be). It's like they give you the runaround until you just quit which is what I'm doing. I have only had the washer 7 months. They obviously do not stand behind thier product anymore. If I knew what a crappy company this was to deal with I would never have bought from them. I will never buy an appliance from any of their brands again.
I had a refrigerator 5 years old with nothing but problems. I finally got a replacement from whirlpool at a prorate. The first replacement went out(compressor failure) in 13 days. The second replacement has been serviced 7 times with temperature issues and now all the lights are out. I think whirlpool should have replaced this unit as well but keeps dragging it out. I own 9 whirlpool appliances but i am beyond disappointed and frustrated because they didnt stand behind their product.
Bought a brand new refrigerator in October 2022. Today is June29th 2023 and just now received a replacement unit after whirlpool tried multiple bandaid fixes and had us waiting for months for replacement parts that never showed up to the appliance company. Will never buy another whirlpool product or subsidiary brand ever again.
A few years back I purchased a washer, dryer, refrigerator and oven from Whirlpool. All but the washer have required major repairs, totaling over $1500. Contacting the company results in sorry your stuff sucks, sorry about your luck. Stay far away from anything with the Whirlpool nameplate.
I bought new house and it comes with whirlpool appliances thats why i dont have receipt to show as proof, my problem is The door of my dishwasher just started to rust after 5 months. I contacted the facilities and stated my complaint under warranty. The technical duty came and he said that it s about cosmetic not mechanic problem Cosmetics warranty only 1 month. Its so stupid you bought new diswasher and getting rust in 5 months and they say warranty only for one month, I didn't do this myself. Olease stop to think that your customer stupid, btw its so hard to reach customer service on the phone live chat not helping a lot they direct you to call customer service
I purchased a 4-Door French Door Refrig. It made whining and grinding sounds. Called for service. Wasn't making sound when tech came so took picture of serial number and walked out. Called C/S. They said if another tech came out I would have to pay because of false repair claim. All signs point to defective fan, but he would not check. Said I could not speak to supervisor nor have one call me back. Warranty? What warranty? Service? What service? $2,000 for a defective refrigerator! Run. Don't buy a Whirlpool!
I have had a Whirlpool washer since Oct '22. It was fine for a couple of months. Now it makes a grinding sound almost every time we do a load of wash. They tell us it's a balancing issue with the clothes. I have NEVER HATED an appliance as much as I do this topload washer. Why was it fine in the beginning and now developed this horrible grinding noise all of a sudden? I would stay clear of this product at all costs. Giving this product 1 star is also overrating it. Would love to send a video but it's on my FB page and won't let me forward.
Whirlpool is the worst washer and dryer I have ever owned. The washer doesn't wring all the water out the clothes. I have to put it on drain and spin after I run the regular cycle. The dryer takes too long to fry the clothes. I haven't even had the set for a year.
I am only rating 1 star because zero stars was not an option. Never have I ever had such a horrible experience with appliances. I bought a whirlpool package less than 3 years ago. I've already had to replace the dishwasher (burned up motor), had the microwave repaired, and now the refrigerator/freezer has died. Whirlpool couldn't care less. They've sent useless repair people out that wanted exorbitant fees to "hopefully fix the issue". Meanwhile I gave my fridge:freezer to My neighbor when we moved into this house (because it was black and we wanted stainless here to match the cabinets). She is STILL using it and it is 17 years old….OBVIOUSLY NOT A WHIRLPOOL……it's a GE. Hard lesson learned. Do not waste your money on this junk.
Answer: I've called 1st thing in the morning and gotten through w/in 12 minutes at other times have waited between 1 and 2 hours. You read that correctly and it's not an exaggeration. I've spoken w/ professional, empathetic CSRs and unprofessional ones and none with the authority to respond outside of a narrow script. Supervisor s will not talk to customers (even if the problem has not been resolved after 4 months.) Customer Service is the number 1 reason NOT to buy a Whirlpool product!
