I went to cash a payroll check printed at Wells Fargo bank in CCTX and was charged 7 dollars. Seriously? Casinos are better regulated than this waste of time of a "bank."
I also wanted to speak to someone to learn how to pay my mortgage (which they assumed recently) in person because wellsfargo DOES NOT ACCEPT credit card payments over the phone and the gay teller not only unprofessionally attempted to hit on me (I'm a straight male) but he was dumber than the cash registers at Walmart.
I waited over thirty minutes to ask a loan specialist a mortgage question and to try to pay my monthly payment… and the branch "manager" (a clueless $#*!essa) basically ushered me out stating I had to speak to a mortgage specialist over the phone. It's as if she doesn't WANT ME to know HOW to pay them so they can forclose on my house! It's okay though. My attorneys wrote an elegant letter to the CEO of Wells Fargo documenting that branch managers attempt to breech of contract. If you love life… stay away from this soon to collapse waste of time… because time is what life is made of. Don't waste it there.
These people will drag you through the mud only to decline you after 2 months of work. Biggest waste of my time! I would rather talk to a mob boss than these people ever again!
They scammed me EVERY month for more money - I HATE this bank was difficult to close account - didn't want to lose me but it was a battle! Don't go with Wells Fargo!
Wells Fargo bank is the absolute worst bank, they are unreliable, deny all fraud complaints, charge for services that they say are free, and they lie to customers
No problem with them buying my mortgage. It's automatically bank drafted so I have very little interaction with them which I'm finding out is good. My problem with WF is I have an insurance claim with State Farm for hail damage to my roof. So the insurance check has the mortgage company name included with mine. I have to get WF to sign the check before I have access to my money. Well it's been 2 weeks since I walked into the local WF branch. Spent over 1 hour there. Insisted everything be sent overnighted to facilitate the process. The new roof has been in place for 12 days. The contractor has not been paid. I've been on the phone with WF claims department every business day. Today they said the overnight check will be released soon. The WF claims inspector(out sourced) showed up today and took some pics. They were supposed to release some of the funds before the inspection. But no. Every time I talk to WF I get a different story as to why the process takes so long. My mortgage is punny compared to the cost of the house. They spend to much time, energy, and effort on something that should be easy. And it's not even their money. And for a bank they do not understand business. I'm just glad I don't have checking or savings with them.
Tyler at Wells Fargo Customer Service provided some of the best customer service I've ever had! Never once did she say "no" or "I can't help you." She was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. She went out of her way to solve my problems. If I ever need to call again I hope that she answers the phone!
Wells Fargo (WF) West 39th Street Office - Josh Carrick and Staff AAA+++++
WF - West 42nd Street Office - ALL staff wonderful A+
I moved to West 60th Street and go to my neighborhood WF for the first time.
1. Person in charge told me to have a seat. Waiting area chairs totally not handicapped accessible so I stood with my cane. No attempt to take me to a more suitable chair. I'm clearly disabled. 15-20 minute wait standing up.
2. Person in charge was helping a customer 1.
3. Another customer 2. In front of me standing and so nervous to get help...
4. Finally the first customer left and the person in charge ask me how could I be helped and I told her my Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Charity account needed a fraud release and she responded "snapped back very rudely" OH THAT WILL TAKE OVER AN HOUR AND I CAN"T DO THAT RIGHT NOW AND YOU NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. I responded I tried and tried to make an appointment but the phone system is always too busy and ask me to call back. OVER AND OVER. A month of excuses and OUTRAGEOUS WF...
Her rude behavior, her demeaner, her nastiness not acceptable working for WF.
And SHAME ON WF... and a month of this hold and I can't get it off as the animal charity goes national with television appearances starting. SHAME ON WELLS FARGO. www.poats.org
Chasity from this Wells Bank in Murphy is so helpful and pleasant and always wants to help. It doesn't matter the time.
Thank you to all the people there, especially Chasity.
Beware of Wells Fargo Bank they will take money from your account, create fake claims then rip you off! There's one in the shadows working with scammers to help them get access to your account.
I have had an account with Wells Fargo about 20 years. With over 100,00.00. For some reason Wells Fargo decided to change or not allow my current recipient's on Zell to receive money. The girl read off a sheet of paper trying to help me, she did not what to do either. They told me I have to contact all my recipient's to get the same information to send them money. I am moving my money to another bank. NO HELP FROM THIS BANK
The ATM don't let u have access to ur saving and all cross big D the ATM are out of cash. Wells Fargo is a old bankl, cowboy days & is one the biggest banks has NO CASH on hand to hand my vacation in west Texas. Makes me worried.
I had my debit card stolen and subsequent fraudulent transactions in the amount of $242. I filed a claim and they refused to reverse the transaction, and I am now stuck with an overdraw, unable to buy food or gas. I have been told to wait until the claim is resolved even though it is obvious the transactions were fraudulent. I would advise to everyone with a WF to close their accounts ASAP and open a checking account at a bank that doesn't TURN THEIR BACK ON THEIR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY ARE VICTIMS OF THEFT.
Worst bank experience I've ever received. My mom deposited it into her account so it'd be faster for me to receive it. Then they said the transaction was cancelled. Then I went to cash it in person but they said my check's already been cashed BUT it's not even in her account. Then get a letter saying that the funds are in her account but somehow isn't available. How the $#*! is it this complicated just getting my $#*!ing Tax Refund? Anyone would be pissed if they had to go through all of this $#*!. If they were helpful and helped me get my Tax Refund instead of messing with us and my money, I wouldn't give this a bad review. One way or another, Wells Fargo $#*!ed up big time.
I have had successful careers in Wall Street, sales for boutique hotels, own my business, wrote a book. And to describe me as Mr. Customer Service is an understatement Exemplary customer service is what keeps clients with companies.
On Tuesday, May 23, I had an issue with a vendor potentially going to charge me on my Wells Fargo debit card. Little did I know that the person in customer service was not only going to correct my issue short and long-term but was going to stop me from closing my Wells Fargo account, which I had open since they were Wachovia, due to the fact I had relocated to Massachusetts where there are no Wells Fargo banks. For over 2 years I had continue to be charged for out of network ATM fees.
How could I leave a bank that had taken such stellar care of my personal and business needs and made exceptions for me but how could I keep paying hundreds of dollars in out of network service fees?
My decision to stay with Wells Fargo was due to a woman Azeemah Davis. Her listening skills, empathy, and determination to correct all my issues that had previously ruined my day and after speaking with her my day became one of gratitude and satisfaction. I was grateful that there was another person in this world that took an interest in the genuine of all customers.
She spent close to one hour looking at my years of loyalty and correcting a potential issues that could have wiped out my checking account balance.
My praise not only goes out to Ms. Davis but her management team. I feel that it is their training that care her the tools necessary to be an exemplary employee and a caring person.
To the management of Wells Fargo; please allow her to continue to embrace her job and your clients. I will surely share my experience with other business associates as well as family and friends.
With the highest of respect,
Richard Morris
I was stranded in Chicago because they canceled my debit card without my approval. As a result I was stranded in Chicago. Called customer service got the run around.
All I want to say is VERY VERY BAD online services... I've just gotten my credit card and wanted to setup my online access to my account. At first they told me I have to wait 8 days after gotten my card before I can see my credit card account. Okay I waited and almost forgotten... now is after 15 days and still having problem.
Called their customer service line, have to try couple times because the first was been hung up when someone told me they have to transfer me.
The second time almost ended the same way, told the person don't transfer me again and she decided to help me, but when I asked some questions, I can hear from her tone the sarcasm and she literally dragged every word when she replied my questions... very unprofessional.
I've been receiving emails and snail mail for Wells Fargo for preapprove for the past 6 months. I decided to apply to get turned down. Keep your stinkin card. I have great credit. I'm most angry cause now my credit score just dropped 18 pts. There should be a law, not to market pre approvals. I should not have to have my credit score affectec because of your marketing scams
I have been a customer of Wells Fargo since 2013. I went to cash a check that was written on Wells Fargo, they illegally opened me an account. I fell in love with them until today. Another Wells Fargo went to make a cash deposit for me. He was told he would have to deposit by cashier check. Wells Fargo put a cashiers check that they gave him on hold. My car was in the shop. I live in ga my car was in Tallahassee FL.I could not pay the bill for my repairs and was left with no way to get a room. I contacted the bank several times, to only be told they couldn't help me. I will be closing my account and contacting my attorney.
They could not replace a new card because they had issues (phone number not eligible to recieve a text at the moment) sending a text at my phone number. I asked them to verify over the email or account number, routing, transactions, anything...they said NO. I stay overseas for three months and I have to wait to get back to US to resolve this issue because they cannot resolve it over the phone. Unbelievable!
This is the worst bank I have ever seen. The representatives are unhelpful, mislead, make mistakes, and don't correct them. You spend hours on the phone, and nothing is resolved. When you ask them to do something, they don't. Totally unprofessional and untrustworthy. The branch manager is completely incompetent and useless.
Answer: Scam. They are being sued for $2 billion dollars related to unscrupulous business practices.
Answer: No, Wells Fargo does not respond to requests. They lost my forms several times.
Answer: No racist scammers. Holding fake interviews to minorities who they have no business giving a job to.
