This women took one look at me said no it HAS to be deposited, I'm like excuse me. Yes we can't cash it. Rude nasty and the teller looked at me in with such sorrow. A manufacturer which needed to be used probably before it expired. I have excellent credit. I was told by Wells Fargo if I was approved I would be able to use the card immediately. I was approved but I was not able to add the card to Paypal so that I can use it and make the purchase that I wanted to make. It has been more than a week and a half now. I have called Wells Fargo over 15 times. Not a single Wells Fargo staff helped me. Every single staff was rude and some were down right nasty! I reported these incidents to "executive customer service". They will not helpful at all either. Basically I've been going around in a loop. Nothing has happened at all. All Wells Fargo has done is waste my valuable time. I would not recommend Wells Fargo to anybody for any reason! Wells Fargo is worthless and useless!
I wish there was a way to give to zero rating here. Every time you walk into the branch, people are twiddling their thumbs. No one steps up to talk to you or serve your needs. In this particular case, their manager Lorenzo Mata and business correspondent Mina Shah were just sitting there. When asked, they both didn't want to help. Mina said she had an appointment in 10 minutes. She was doing absolutely nothing. All we needed was four pieces of information (beneficiary for an account set up) that would have taken a person of average intelligence less than 2 minutes to note on a piece of paper or a printout. But no! These geniuses did not want to do the work. I'm not sure how these people get hired to work in customer service at these worthless banks.
Someone from the Wells Fargo number 1 *******557 called me 7 times before I answered, and asked to speak to a woman who I do not know. I told them they had the wrong number and they said "$#*! you, you broke $#*!. That is why you did not answer." I have blocked that number. First I opened this bank and I "was not entitled to this service". I've always had zelle. I pay the babysitters with zelle. I pay before and after school programs with zelle. I have a broken foot and cannot walk or drive for at least six weeks. When I need money to pay people for errands and shopping I need zelle. I'm not allowed to have it. Opened up another bank. This is a week at least. One day I have zelle. Meanwhile, I had changed my work direct deposit and child support direct deposit to Wells Fargo, so I was stuck for a little while. So a week and a half later it's time for child support. Every single Wednesday when I wake up and it's in checking. Same routine for 6 1/2 years. Until I put the depisit to Wells Fargo. Wednesday…it's not there. Thursday…no child support. Child support says it was sent out Wednesday (like always). So here I am AGAIN, back on customer service with Wells Fargo. Supervisor makes sure I used the correct routing number…the bank employee filled out the information as is required by child support. Supervisor tells me it's on me to tell child support to provide a trace and according to this rule and that it needs to be this trace and that and not this it that. Bottom line. I have no child support. That money helps support a child. Helps with all expenses. Now I'm short rent money. I just zelled all my money to Bethpage. Printed out the new Child Support Direct Depisit form. Have Bethpage information and paperwork for my job direct deposit. Turning that in tomorrow am ASAP and mailing child support form after Bethpage fills it out Saturday. But thank you. Thank you Wells Fargo for making me want to keep my money under a mattress where at least I have control over it.

I have had my account with Wells Fargo for years.the past 2 years have been really rough for me so I use the account less now but the account is always in good standings. They charged a monthly fee that I forgot was charged (since before this hard time for me, I kept money in the account)- with the monthly fee charge it made the account -$2.11 which I was unaware of, and I did not get any sort of notice. Long story short they closed the account and sent an email after it was closed, I have a check that I am looking to receive in 2 days in the account which will now be rejected and I will have to wait another 6-8 weeks for it to be mailed to me and I really need my money. This is just horrible and I will never use or recommend anyone I know to use Wells Fargo ever again. As long as their eating up your money in fees it's all good, but as soon as the rough times come they cut you off! I'm glad I learned this now, so once my business is on a great path they will have no parts of it. Just HORRIBLE! This shouldn't be a 1 star but I had to select it.

I am constantly having to call Wells Fargo to confirm I am using my card to make online purchases. Imagine all your online purchases being denied and your card not working until you call Wells Fargo to confirm that you are making online purchases. If you don't call they freeze your account where you can use your card. I have purchased as low as 12 dollars being questioned for possible fraud. I spent more than 2 hours every weekend telling Wells Fargo that these are my charges so that I could have access to my money. They froze my account today over a 12 fraud charge and refused to overnight my new card...even after I informed them that my husband and I are medically needy and required life saving medications that we had to pick up today. My husband is insulin dependent and I have gran mal seizures. I will be closing my account asap and going to a bank that allows me to spend my money without my banks constant permission. And who has reasonable solutions regarding fraud charges and access to my money during the getting a new card process. Let's not forget, all the late fees for all of the automatic payment s to everyone we owe for mortgage, electric, internet, car payment, car insurance,betc. Which the bank will not refund the late fees because they froze my account. Plus they will not pay automatic payments knowing that they are not fraudulent charges. I hate Wells Fargo and will tell everyone I come in contact with never to use them. There was an email with Access Code with DOES NOT work and shows an error. Their customer service folks have No idea about any of this and the answer by the phone rep was that b/c many people using the website, that's probably why the links don't work- lol

Last year I opened a Credit Card with 2% cash back with WF. On 3/17/23 I got a fraudulent charge of $10,380. I texted and called them same day and warned their representatives that it is not me, who did this charge and it is a fraud. However, the employees I talked with, just assured me that they will take care of it. Within 3 business days, they send the amount to pay for this fraud and put it on my account balance instead of stopping any payment. There were 4 more calls, talk with managers and again other than assurances it will be taken care of nothing was done, the charge is on my balance and they do not care. How it is possible so deeply ignore anything you report on the fraud?
