Wells Fargo is the worst mortgage company ever. Their customer service sucks and they all tell different stories. Plus I get transferred to many different people every time I call. I'm letting my house go back to them and they can deal with it.

Poor customer service
March 24, 2023

This was my favorite Bank so accommodating and convenient I use them for many years in Arizona, the customer service was second to none. After moving to Florida service was awful and I was treated like just another number. Sorry Wells Fargo I don't miss you.

No customer service!
March 17, 2023

Unfortunately, any branch you go to, they do not have customer service. That human warmth has been lost. They only allow themselves to be guided by what the book says and they are not even interested in being able to help you. It is very sad!

No customer service
March 16, 2023

Got hacked this morning. Called in to get a new card.
That part took only 45 minutes lol
Next they send me out a card and tell me don't worry you can use apple pay...
Told them many times I am scared of keeping my cards online.
Asked if we could expedite my card so I can use it.
Their response ya just call back tomorrow I already wasted 45 minutes. Not to mention the guy over the phone kept making me feel pathetic cause you can just use apple pay...

I told him many times it's more risky to me and that man made me feel stupid. How many times he said you got apple pay it's OK.

ITS NOT OK IF ITS NOT WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS.

No to mention went into the hastings wells fargo about 6 months ago and a lady pointed to the number saying,"were to busy you can call that number".

When I told the guy over the phone he they don't believe in customer service and working with the customer he said,"customer service isn't about getting the customer their way".

Safe to say after 13 years of banking with them I will officially be leaving. Such a disgrace. I remember when this was the best bank out there. Now they just don't care about the customer.

Our commercial mortgages with Wells Fargo are fully paid and compliant yet the bank is threatening us and forcing appraisals of our properties to damage us. Worse the bank will not tell us why they are persecuting us. The worst bank our small family enterprise has borrowed from in 50 years. Avoid Wells Fargo at all costs. Chase is 100% a better bank.

It's a never ending joke with this bank. Issues with cards freezing, limits for no reason, terrible customer service then to top it off you literally erased millions upon millions of peoples money in a few hours with zero time line on fixing the issue. This wasn't just checks being deposited that disappeared, savings accounts dissappeard, money that was in prior dissapear and then went negative in all accounts. People can not survive without having means they earned to do so. You can not even go to a branch and discuss it or take out pending money due to your faulty system. We will be changing banks as soon as this hell fest settles. Your stocks dropped astronomically 3 days ago, after this I feel like wells farge with be on the penny stock circuit.

Also, you need to train employees to not post on Facebook and Twitter threating customers for being upset about this. They obviously aren't affected because your employees don't even bank with you. I feel like at this point you should sell that 225 billion dollar building you just bought and start depositing it into people's accounts as a curiosity for this giant hell hole you made.

Fees
March 8, 2023

They will charge you a $35 dollar fee if you overdraft for a 'recurring bill' but they count things like Starbucks or target or whatever else as recurring… even when it is not a monthly bill, you just shop there and you think your account had money but Wells Fargo doesn't updated it fast enough,. I think they allow you to overdraft on purpose… so they can charge monumental fees and make a profit off of it every year

Incompetent
March 8, 2023

Not even sure were to start. Wells Fargo is beyond incompetent. Our retail sales rep Amanda Laffoon should be fired along with her supervisor( Ayla). They have lied to us, ran us through the ringer with false statements. One rep told us we could run the customers credit card, we called back and were told that's not correct. Every single rep is disrespectful, talk down to us and failed us( the customer) I'm every single way. I'm appalled at the lack of respect and the lack of knowledge Wells Fargo showed. Or customer number is **************, I beg management to listen to the phone calls and/ or read notes inputted by their inept employees. The entire retail division needs trained and upper management needs to be fired. They're costing themselves millions of dollars. I used to think the Stagecoach was a logo, no it's them stuck in the Stone Age with faxing and paper applications.
I'm in shock and will spread this and leave a review everywhere I can. Everyone needs fired …

I got scammed in December and Wells Fargo has offered absolutely zero help. They were actually insufferable to deal with during the process. They lost my initial claim number and then took about a month to respond to my other claim, then just immediately denied it and said there was nothing they could do to help me refund the money. Crazy to find out they also got sued around the same time for all kinds of illegal conduct. They have no problem stealing their customers' money but can't refund a couple thousand dollars or at the very least help a client figure out a solution when they get scammed. It was a fake check scam, by the way, and I found out the check the teller put through looked so far from the actual checks that company sends. I also learned the teller was supposed to compare that check to the real checks and get someone else's eyes if it looked fishy. She didn't do any of that. She just put it through. I should've never lost that money in the first place. Wells Fargo is seriously negligent and doesn't care about its customers. Will never open an account with them ever again, period. Don't open an account with them. SoFi is lightyears better. Banks who refuse to modernize and who prove that they don't care about their customers are going to tank.

Run around
March 1, 2023

I have had a Wells Fargo credit card for a whole 18 days now. They offered 0% balance transfer. After the transfer request THEN they tell you it can take 2 weeks. I called at 1 week they said the transfer was requested (person 1… who was nice). At 2 weeks and 2 days no transfer. I am now paying interest on this balance because it did not transfer (person 2) told me that it takes 15 business days to transfer and that's stated in terms and conditions. This is NOT STATED IN T&C that you can read on line while you request a balance transfer. I said I'm losing money cancel the transfer then the card. I cant. (Person 3) supervisor then said that there was a holiday (presendents day) so despite being 16 days it wasn't 2 weeks? I said cancel the transfer. He said he could cancel the card ( thus negating the 0%) but not the transfer cause it had gone through. It had not. Old card still had balance. WF CARD ZERO. Oh well it's "pending". Only recourse was to call advocacy. Waited another day no transfer. Called advocacy (person 4) who wanted to know why I called her she doesn't do credit cards. But she tried hard for 20 mins to help anyway. She couldn't "open a case" sai transferred me to (person 5). Who said that if I transferred to another card, I would still owe them this transfer amount. She then transferred me to (person 6) who, while not rude, clearly didn't want to talk to me. Again said she couldn't stop the transfer as it was "approved". STILL balance zero. And that there already was an open case. I needed to wait up to 5 days AFTER approval to see money move. And up to 12 days to get a call from those reviewing the case. This leads to losing 1 month of the 0% offer and 2 months of interest charges. SO FRUSTRATED

I have never seen or experienced such a horrible experience ever when trying to open a checking account online. I attempted to do this on 2/20/23. I received an email saying "Dear XXXXXX,

Now it's time to track your application for Wells Fargo Everyday Checking, using your Access Code and additional personal information. Keep the code handy and secure.

Your access code is: XXXXXX
Since then I have spoken to 2 different people regarding the status, the 1st one stated it's in process and I have to wait 2-5 business days for the process. Today was told there is nothing on file I need to re-apply. This is super ridiculous. Can you believe it is so difficult to open a bank account at Wells Fargo, what a joker of a company! Every other institution's bank account opening is a mere 15 minutes, at WELL FARGO it takes days and weeks and then they can't find your application. I have a tracking number and when searching for the account online, it says "pending" Just plain sickening...

My son was looking to open a checking account with Wells Fargo so we went to the Midlothian Turnpike branch. When we went into the office the representative looked him up and down and said "Can you come back next week? We close in an hour." Clearly they don't need new customers, particularly if the customer has a bohemian personal style. We both noticed the once over that was given. It was very offensive.

It should be a simple process to make payments using the app. I have not had this many errors and phone calls on trying to set up online payments with any other car loan. Next dealership that suggests Wells Fargo, I will tell to find another or not buy the vehicle.

Date 2/21/2023 - Beware of Wells Fargo - Estate Care Center!
I have never written a review for any product or service in the past but people need to know the absolute disregard and basic human decency for dealing with the loss of a loved one. My father passed away last November 2022 and as the executor of his estate, I'm entrusted with the probate process. Every other Bank, Pension provider, IRS, and probate official have shown my family the compassion and professional courtesy one would like to expect when dealing with the loss of a loved one. Except! For Wells Fargo and in particular The Wells Fargo Estate Care Center. I have spent countless hours on hold waiting for assistance from their call center. I have visited local branches at their request. I have provided death certificates, and notices appointing me as the estate's executor from the court, and nothing has been done or made any effort to contact me to resolve my father's accounts.

The final issue that drove me to spend my time and energy writing this review is I just spent the last 45 minutes on hold only to get through to the latest Wells Fargo answering service that cut my call off while I was transferring to the next customer service person.

It gets better... After I was cut off I called Wells Fargo to start a new IRA and guess what without any transfers I was able to start a new IRA within 5 minutes. Trust me there is no way I would ever do any personal or business banking with this outfit.
