Received the wrong gift from a family member who purchased from this site... called to ask to exchange the item or return the item in order to get the correct item I needed. The person I dealt with continuously repeated for me to take certain steps despite me telling them ALL the steps were already taken! Basically didn't take the time to hear me out or listen to me... Im a first time mom, with a baby on the way, with a baby product I cant make use of and theres nothing I can do about it! WORSE COMPANY EVER! Full of $#*! and would never purchase ANYTHING from here! Thank you WISH for being understanding (not) and finding a way to rectify the situation vs literally f***ing me over!
I really like Well.ca mostly because they have what I need and are always very consistent with their entire customer experience.
The prices are not always the best prices you can find, but I feel that its sometimes worth it to just purchase it online and it comes to you in a few days. They always wrap everything really well, especially if you order liquids. I always open the box to find the liquid packages to be in plastic bags and nestled tightly with the other products. They just have so many products to choose from and I love that they have little icons beneath each item telling you which one's are products of Canada and whether they are organic/fair trade/ gluten free etc. They have new sales all the time on different categories or brands so I keep an eye on the site to see when my products come on sale. You can easily qualify for free shipping when you spend over $25 I believe, so I usually stock up on my stuff, also I have to mention that they are partnered with Aeroplan so you can stock up on points at the same time too:)
Overall I really like Well.ca and will continue ordering from them
Very impressed with how they handled my package when it went missing! Courteous and kind, Christine and Emily were amazing help! Would 100% reccommend
I've ordered from well.ca for years, usually competetive pricing and decent delivery rates with low cut off for free shipping. Last year they increased it from $35 to $49 MIN, doable but still. So i go to order today and my cart is at $51 before tax, no discounts and they're trying to charge me $12.95 for shipping! While their website clearly states that free shipping is $49+ no small print no exceptions. For full transparency: this is shipping to Nackawic NB, a rural town of about 500-1000ppl, only 30min away from a 'hub' city of Frederiction. We're not talking NWT here or NFLD, etc. For other reference, when i went to change it to my sister's address in the 'city' of Saint John, it did change it to 'free shipping'. Go figure! However, in NB as is most of Canada, at least 30% of us live 20-30 min outside of a hub 'city'. How well.ca justifies this extra expense I do not know, as I pay the same price with canada post to ship a package basically anywhere in NB and NS. But guess what- they've lost my business. Lack of transparency and false advertisements are a huge no-no.
Worst customer service ever!
My order returned without notifying me so I contacted with customer sevice and they offered me full refund which I didnt ask for, and resending. And when I asked for the update later they said we gave you full refund and just wait. I waited 2 months without any update and when I asked last time they said it has damaged so forget it with $10 coupon. They couved informed me before but never did and I complained about that and tell them to send the package but no anwsers until now 6 days passed from the email I sent.
I ordered for my first time and received items that were wet with torn packaging and some of the items were missing. I'm slightly bemused and confused as to either give them applause for having one product being completely intact without being damaged and or wet... or to be displeased about having to still go out to buy what I intended to buy online from an actual drug store now. The point was to was to create customer convenience which should be the factor that generates your revenue... I am left wondering how an order that says fully shipped and delivered didn't fully get to my door. And do I even bother asking for money back or will they return me a half torn bill?... This is just purely awkwardly bewildering. I leave you a flabbergasted emoticon: o
It's a shame because I really liked a lot of the brands they held. I would have be an ongoing client. It makes me wonder why those brands would affiliate with this kind of service that doesn't even get to the product to the paying customers hands. Is that truly the message you want to send and affiliate yourself with? If a client is dissatisfied with the service, it has a certain negative impact in the underlying purchasing experience in relation to your brand. You know that right?
Iv been shopping with them for about 3 years now and in those 3 years I only had 1 problem (resolved quickly) and 1 mistake.
The first one occurred when one of the product jar came in broken, I only noticed the broken jar a few weeks upon arrival because it was inside a box and I had no use for the product during the first few weeks from getting it. I contacted them as soon as I saw the broken jar and in no time they answered me back and the product was replaced free of charge and arrived the same week.
The other mistake was I ordered a cheap toothbrush and I got an expensive one instead :) I didnt complain this time around.
Everyone makes mistakes and 2 during my 3 years with them is pretty much high standard. Its no different than going to a real store. The cashier at the drugstore used to make more mistake than what Well.ca did in 3 years.
Their customer service is flawless and always friendly.
Love the huge selection of products they have, the pricing and how easy it is to just go to their website, search for what you want, discover new product and in one click order everything you need.
I havent been in a real drugstore ever since I discovered Well.ca and as long as Well.ca is around I will never go to any pharmacy.
I love the little personal "Thank you" and "smiley" face they put in your transaction paper inside your package.
I cant even express how grateful I am with Well.ca
Thank you for being such a cool online shopping place.
When placing an order I was offered 5% off if I signed up for email. Order was then cancelled by well.ca. When I tried to place again, discount code was invalid (as used already!)
They promise on their website that they give $10 coupon for referral or first time customer, but they don't. And when i complained, they emailed back saying NOT to use the coupon.
I have nothing but love for this company's products, delivery and customer service. Oh and love their samples too. I talk about this company all the time. So far, I'm impressed!
Have received faulty products a few times. During covid they went from free shipping 35 to 50. Whats their excuse now? Brong 35 back.
Pros:
Any time that there's been an issue with a product I immediately, without hassle, was offered a full refund or replacement - my choice. That, unfortunately, is the ONLY good thing about Well.ca. It used to be great but has really gone down hill.
Cons:
1. Everything is more expensive than you'd find it elsewhere. Some items are literally double the price so the fact that they offer free shipping for orders $35 and over isn't really a deal at all. For example, Pedialyte Frozen Pops are anywhere between $10.99 - $13.99 everywhere else but Well.ca sells them for $22 and this wasn't a mistake because the price didn't change after I, and at least one other person, questioned if this was a mistake.!
2. Shipping takes a ridiculously long time. It says on their website that they ship within 1-3 business days. They NEVER ship less than 3 days and if you order Friday, they won't ship until Wednesday because they say that their carriers don't work on weekends which is not true because ALL couriers work weekends and while CanadaPost doesn't delivery on weekends (except during the Christmas Holidays) they certainly process the mail so if Well.ca would ship it Saturday or Sunday it would arrive Monday or Tuesday instead of having to wait until Thursday or Friday - a full week to receive the order.
2.
I have to throw in the towel on doing business with this Canadian company. Firstly, their prices are no better than those at Shoppers, London Drug or Walmart. Secondly, their shipping time frame is deplorable. I get stuff from Amazon Prime within 2-3 days. Landsend in the USA within 6 days and Marks & Spencer in the UK in about 4-5 days. These guys can take upwards of two weeks. So let's see, their prices are market, their shipping is slow, so what's the value proposition here. But to add vinegar to the wound, I received an mail (likely an all call email) from their CEO Jennifer, informing me that because I live in a REMOTE area of BC, all further orders under $100.00 Canadian were subject to a $20.00 shipping surcharge. Remote? Hum. I live in Nanaimo BC. We have an airport big enough for jets to land, and roads and highway, and big ferries and everything. How is it that Amazon can find me lickety split, but a Canadian company from Guelph Ontario seem to think my location is remote/rural/the hinterland. Honestly, someone at Well.ca needs to revisit the way they do online business, because I for one am no longer a customer.
When I went to proceed with my order the website kept on denying my credit card number and the customer service representatives are no help either but on the bright side I get to save my money.
I ordered the product Friday by Wednesday the next week It was at my post office. Great service. I called to have it shipped by Canada post and they made it happen Thanks well.ca!
I bought from Well 4 years ago and was impressed with the quality of product and the excellent customer service! I continue to support them and highly recommend to anyone!
I bought Carina Organics styling gel, it could be a lot better, but I do like that no chemicals are used. It is also nice that the certified organic items are listed in green. I did find that I needed to use more than a small amount of styling gel, as the back of the bottom says in the directions. As well, it's something that does have to be put on a few times throughout the day, if you want hair to stay styling all the day. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this product, if you are needed a stronger gel, that will last all the day. It's for my son, so not a huge deal to have to re-apply, but would rather have something to last all the day. I purchased the 8.4 fl oz bottle. I would recommend purchasing a bigger size if you find that you really like this product. I am not sure if they offer a larger bottle of this product, I ordered a few smaller bottles, so maybe it was all that they had, am not sure. I couldn't find a larger size at the time of my ordering. As well, do follow the directions on the back of the bottle that says: to style and hold, work gel from scalp to the hair tip.
I buy several times a year, and for several years, and for the last year or two, I noticed that the shipping can be very slow. I try to buy elsewhere when possible now, too bad for them.
They cancelled my order without any notice and I missed out on over half the items in my cart. This is the email I sent them concerning feedback. Also, I received zero compensation. This speaks volumes about their customer service I will never shop from them again:
Absolutely horrible policy and service Will never shop on this site again. I received the email at 3:00 called at 5:30 and over half my items have already been sold. This happened before I was reimbursed! So you guys sold my items roughly 3-4 hours after you cancelled my order and before you reimbursed me. There should be a time frame to address such issues before the items are released. Furthermore, the second my items are released I should be reimbursed. Your company keeps my money tied up after they refused to sell me what I ordered!?
To make matters worse the reason my order was cancelled was because my billing address and shipping address were the same. The billing address was incorrect. When I called for assistance, the lady couldn't even change my billing address for me. Useless! Needless to say, I am very unimpressed. I will be leaving a review detailing my experience with your company on every possible review website I can.
Horrible customer service policy.
Answer: It's located in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. They have a huge warehouse here and I often see it when driving by during my business trip.
