WeddingWire is the ABSOLUTE WORST company I have ever dealt with. My business partner and I are currently working towards dissolving our contract with them. They misrepresented the facts and make you pay before they disclose all contractual terms. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THEM. If you already are, look up contractual law in your region and try to fight them. They are making unlawful contracts and their services are revoltingly expensive. They will lie till the end.
Reeti Rituals is absolutely amazing at what they does! There attention to every detail is unparalleled, and they always goes above and beyond. Every single request is met with a smile and nothing has been compromised. These guys will always be my top choice when it comes to a planner / coordinator, and I will always sing there praises. They guys made our day run so smoothly and made it stress free!

THEY ARE A SCAM
I signed up for Weddingwire to help me stay organized for my destination wedding.
They offered for $24 You get a wedding website for a year.
The website is a joke. I couldn't upload pictures. When I tried, it said successfull but then the pictures stayed stock.
I complained and they basically said "Oh Well" not our problem and even though you paid US money, we can neither help you with the technical difficulties nor refund your money.
I have a degree in computer technology so it is not because o am computer illiterate.

* is the account manager that sold me the advertising service and is listed as my account manager on my non-legal binding contract/email. I've called the business numerous times and asked to speak to Lauren and again at the end of our conversation for * to return my call. I've asked to revisit our initial conversation with * and I'm being avoided even through emails. As a paying customer, *, the Support Team or an acting manager should reach out me. It's been over two weeks and * still hasn't reached out to me with my legitimate concerns.
I overly expressed to * that I need to work in the ETX area closer to my home and family and it wasn't going to be an issue and selling ad services out of my requested area is an unethical business practice. My first comment with * from day one is that I didn't want to travel to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and the conversation should've stopped there, instead she was eager to take my credit card information over the phone, knowing the consequences. I reside in Tyler, not in the Dallas/ Fort Worth, Louisiana, Wichita Falls, Austin or the Houston area where 99% of the leads are coming from.
The leads are not quality, I noticed extremely poor quality leads very early on and they never got better. I've been in business a long time and know quality when I see it. Here's a perfect example from this week! One from Louisiana (? What?) and one from Austin, TX, (? 4 hours away?) and another for the state of Kansas. Why travel 5 hours each way knowing there are weddings happening closer to my home? * assured me my area was for the East TX area and assured me that the advertising service would be a great investment. Not a single conversation with a prospective client, not a single booking and not a single dollar. Upon further investigation after my legitimate concerns, I found many others like me feeling scammed by this company with no quality leads whatsoever to help their business in any way. I wish I would've done more research before I contacted this business (TheKnot & WeddingWire)
They currently have a 1.5 out of 5 stars on the BBB, TrustPilot, Yelp and etc. This is a true reflection of the company and a really bad investment on my end!

Wedding Pros, the parent company that owns theknot.com and weddingwire.com, are strict with their contract and will not give any grace period even though there are government-sanctioned lockdowns.
I asked to pause my contract and they refused even though they are aware that many couples are unable to book events. They basically received a free $3600 from me for me to put my name on their website.
There is an "end-of-business" option to opt-out but they require you to take down your entire online presence.
Sign the contract if you want to feel like Prince getting screwed over by his record label and a random entity having control over how you advertise your business.

I am being scammed by wedding wire just like all of you! I signed up as a vendor for my new bridal fitness and wellness business in July and all I have received is fake leads and robots, I have not received one real lead. I quickly realized this and tried to get out of it with zero response. I need another merchant to write a letter for me explaining their same experience with this company so I can try to dispute. I got duped into signing up for Wedding Wire and The Know Pro as a vendor with newly received EIDL money to help my struggling business stay afloat after the initial fallout from the impact of the COVID-19 virus and ensuing pandemic. They preyed on me and locked me into a 1 year agreement on an absolutely USELESS site. Leads generated are fake and full of spammers. This is the absolute worst company to do business with. STAY AWAY!

Tony is truly amazing. He created the most beautiful rings for my partner and I. I couldn't be happier. His honesty and knowledge brings confidence. R purchase. Today I paid my last payment. Stay away from this company! 90% of their leads are fake self generated. Every bride says the same thing. All their phone numbers are automated answering machines fake numbers. When coronavirus hit they did nothing to help the vendors. Spent over 4500 for one year. Booked two weddings. Absolutely it is definitely not worth the return. I feel like a complete for using this company! Lots of scams! Wedding Pro is the main company doing business as The Knot and Wedding Wire.
I will do everything I absolutely can to get the word out about these companies. They are ripping vendors off!

The Weddingwire is run with fraudulent and deceptive advertising practices.
Their Vendor * Wedding Photographer was a no show at my daughters wedding, and she refused to return our very sizable deposit. I tried very diligently to leave a review on WeddigWire Web page warning future clients. I was able to document everything as per WeddingWire's requirement for reviews. I've had multiple interactions with management each time promising that they will post my review, and still nothing posted. WeddingWire has a policy of only posting five star reviews. Please be aware before using this web page.

Alli was our Wedding Coordinator from "Coastal Coordinating" for My daughter's wedding on Oct. 23,2021. She was there from the very first phone conversation/emails all the way until the end. The extra care she took with every single detail was something I can't really explain…. But it was pure perfection! She were always so sweet and kind, but also professional and accommodating, and very attentive to my daughter and her needs. She took so much stress from me that I was able to really enjoy celebrating our daughter's (and new son's) wedding weekend. Also, Morgan and Bryan fell in love the very first time they met her in person, and now I know why! I really can't say enough about Alli and her sweet assistant, except I think we have a friend for life.

Im a photographer. We were advertising at their front page for $290 per month in NY. During COVID, the company offered us a 50% discount so we could be paying. That's fine I thought. But then 5 months after I realised that they also downgraded us to 2nd page Brooklyn instead of 1st page NY, never mentioning it. When I pointed their manager to it, they said it is what it is.
I stop advertising there completely. A $#*!ty company. They barely gerenated any worthwile lead these 3 years btw. Cheap leads from a cheap company.

I hardly ever write reviews... and almost never a negative review. I'm very pro small business & recognize a business should t be knocked for one bad experience... but WeddingPro is special, I guess.
Pros:
- They give ideas to change your storefront (the advice is similar to the advice a friend who just had a wedding would give... so you could get similar critiques for free)
- They can sell themselves (not your business that you paid them to sell, just theirs)
Cons/reality
- I pay $425 a month for my package that averages 30 views per month (that's the national average, my numbers are less)
- They lock you in for a year (seriously, no way of escape)
- I've had 1 solid lead after 9 months
- Leads seem fake... called one and it connected me to another DJ company who was also confused. Most are copy and paste questions. Some "leads" will answer 1-2 questions, then go dark.
- They cancelled a meeting with me the day of without my knowledge & I had to reschedule 2 weeks later.
Overall thoughts: The entire system is a scam. You're better giving $100 finder fees... at least you'll get some weddings. Unless you get over 50 weddings from them, you're cash ahead (math being $1000 per wedding & a $5000 year contract). They'll apologize for the poor experience, but would never even consider a partial refund or cancel the rest of my contract. They can't stand behind their product. That's why we can't write these reviews on Facebook.
Alternative ways to increase returns:
- Bet it at a casino
- Trusting a Nigerian prince email
- Have a $50-$100 finders fee (surprisingly much cheaper)
- Buy company shirts and advertise that way
- Buy nicer equipment to provide a better product
- Have prize giveaways
- Use Facebook ads
- Take the humanitarian approach and allow couples a choice of 5 foundations to donate to
- Buy a nice camera phone and post more pictures/videos
- Honestly, anything else is a smarter investment than WeddingPro
I'd bet at least 90% of the positive reviews are fake. When you read them, they're all fluffy & the same, no real experiences. A company doesn't get only 1 and 5 star reviews like this shows. Shameful company that can't back what they say, nor will help correct it. One star is much more generous than they deserve.

Like many reviews are saying, this is a SCAM, they promise to provide a certain amount of leads when they are pitching a package to you... DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM! I recently moved due to COVID and it took them 6 weeks to get back to me and change my location! 6 weeks of missed leads that were of no use to me (granted there were only 4 of them because their advertising is so poor) but the part that got me is that they insisted I pay for the month of services that were of no use to me. They refused to even give me a credit, I've had such a hard time finding business in a new area due to COVID along with cancellations that paying over $250 a month isn't something easy I can swing. Not to mention their management and their billing departments are so separated and hardly work together that their customer service most of the time cannot help you. Please try something else before using this service.

I spent years collecting reviews on Wedding Wire. Years sending clients their way. When I had to move my business to a new state, I decided to pay for a listing on the site, in my new market. I was told I would get 77 leads a year. Instead, I got 6 the first month, and all of them had ridiculously low budgets, or turned out to be spam. After that, I received no leads for two months. My husband lost his job due to COVID and my family was in financial hardship. I begged this company to let me cancel my contract since they were taking a huge amount of money from me every month, and producing zero results. They finally agreed to let me out of my contract, but even though prior to paying I had a free listing, they decided to take down my storefront and all my review (54 total) for "backing out of the contract." They claim to be helping wedding industry professionals during this crisis, but their bottom line is money and manipulating you. When I expressed that it was cruel to take down my storefront entirely, they offered to let me stay in the contract and keep paying in order to keep my reviews.
Disgusting. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. There have been so many tears and so much stress. This company is truly awful.

If you're looking to cancel your contract early with Wedding Wire, you will not be able to do so. But in speaking with customer service, I learned that if you dispute the monthly charge with your credit card company, Wedding Wire will cancel your contract. You will not be charged for the remaining months in your contract. This is NOT something they tell you upfront. I found this out when they renewed my contract for another year... automatically! Save yourself some money, and dispute the charge with your credit card company now!

Before signing up I had spoken with their Canada Sales person and expressed my serious concern about entering into a contract for something that may not work out for me, especially as there was NO CATEGORY listed on their site for my business.
As an incentive to sign up right away, he assured me that the contract was just a proforma piece of paper that was ‘standard' and that he would ensure that I could cancel since as in his words – "we are not monsters who will force you to continue if it is not helping".
If it were not for that promise, I would never have signed up at all! I was assured by Canada Sales Rep that I could cancel within a couple of months if I felt it was not working for me – and it isn't!
Now they are refusing to cancel my account saying I have a 12-month contract and I feel trapped into a contract I never agreed to in the first place.
They claim that I have gotten what they optimistically call ‘leads' but all those so-called leads were all completely unqualified - just tire kickers and led to no jobs whatsoever. How could they, when my business was not even being searched for on their site, seeing that it was not even listed in their categories?
Being trapped into spending more than a thousand dollars over a year, especially at a time when my business, like all others, is suffering due to the pandemic, I certainly do not wish to drain my remaining resources on something that is not working – especially in this time of hardship.
I am trying to get them to stand by their commitment and if they don't I will be taking action!
