I love using this app. It has been most helpful with planning my wedding. I found my ceremony and reception venue here. The forums and ideas. We used the wedding website, even had our guest RSVP on the website. It saved us lots on postage.
I wish I reviewed wedding websites more and would have gone with a different site, even if it was a paid site. This site is terrible and would not recommend this site to anyone. It is not user friendly, there is no real direction on setting it up and once you enter data, even if you make corrections it will not fully correct. Example, somehow the wrong wedding date was enter, could have been user error, but there were places I saw the correct date. However, on the to-do list it had the wrong date by one day, so I made the corrections but it was still calculated the time until my wedding by the wrong date. This was annoying. I added my now wife after I stated the page because I was not sure if she would want to access the page. When she said she did I made sure to add her, but because the page was already opened she was not made a searchable party. This is 2018, how can something like this happen. It took them a couple of weeks of me asking to figure out why. I didn't like how I could not just add vendor without searching them and even guest list was not user friendly. It never worked well on the app on my phone or Ipad. Had I figured most of this out before I sent out the invites and started tracking the guest, I would have looked at a different site to use. I would highly suggest to look around.
I had a great customer service experience with Kendra at WeddingWire. Her responses were quick, offered thorough guidance until resolution and very professional.
Wedding Wire allows Customers to write reviews that paint a picture of someone being a sexual predator with no proof. Even after being presented the facts, they still refuse to take down a review that is a complete lie. And just in case happens, buying advertising to have a review removed is not a solution, it's called a ransom, just in case it happens. I was once told I didn't spend enough money. Which explains why some vendors only get positive reviews. I also bought leads from them early on but no luck. In fact it is my opinion they were made up. They allow competitors to post reviews so any bride depending on getting good services from their Vendors, might want to consider other local options like local Wedding Planners! They don't always advertise on the Wedding Wire and the Knot.
Hi Daniel-
Our Terms of Use permits reviews if a client contracted or paid for services, regardless of if the transaction was terminated prior to service. Our review policies apply to all vendors on WeddingWire and is never influenced by listing status. If you have any further questions about our dispute process, please reach out to us directly at support@weddingwire.com and we would be happy to help.
They promised that I would get 2 gigs a month, and if I wasn't happy with the service that I could cancel it at anytime. I was wrong... They stuck me on a year contract, and drained me of all my cash, I didn't see a single gig from it. For Vendors, it's a trap! 100% scam!
Hi Jim,
We are sorry to hear about your experience. When you have a moment, please reach out to us at support@weddingwire.com so we can get you connected with your personal Customer Success Manager. They will be happy to address your concerns and help you get the most out of your paid listing. We look forward to hearing from you!
I had some... many issues trying to navigate a website for my Daughter's upcoming wedding. (not my strong suit) but i managed, and then accidentally deleted a big part of it:(
Michelle in Support went over and beyond helping me get everything back on track! Can not thank her enough!
I am a long time Wedding Wire client, and just wanted to express my great appreciation for the above and beyond service I received from a terrific customer success associate Lizzie Wahle. She took an amazing amount of time to make sure that my listing was up to date and really effective. And, never once did I get the feeling that, in spite of the time it took to answer my questions, she had anything else more important at that moment than my success with Wedding Wire and my clients. Thank you Lizzie, it was great to work with you and I am certain that your help and suggestions will make a substantial improvement in our conversions!
I recently joined Wedding Wire as vendor, my experience so far has been exceptional, JoAnna Popp was my first point of contact, informing of the benefits and exposure I would receive by becoming a client, she is very knowledgable, professional and showed me how I would be missing out on a great opportunity, I was then setup with Dave Berman, he spent an hour on my Dashboard helping me setup a professional profile that is already receiving leads and it's only been 2 days. I feel very good about the decision to make the investment with Wedding Wire because they are doing everything they can to make sure I succeed. I would strongly suggest
Wedding Wire if you want to be in the game!
John
If you're a vendor, Beware. They will lie to get you in a contract and take your search engine spot. So you're paying them to help themselves. They lie about their numbers and give people fake reviews. Vendors Beware!
Hi there,
We are sorry to hear about your experience. In terms of advertising, we always recommend that vendors participate for a full 12 months to see the best ROI. The wedding season lasts from 12-14 months, so it can be difficult to see the results you are looking for after just 6 months. It is our goal to help you in any way we can and your personal Customer Success Manager would be happy to address any questions or concerns you have one-on-one. If you need assistance connecting with your Customer Success Manager, please reach out to us at support@weddingwire.com and we would be happy to help.

I left a negative review on a vendor I worked with. The review was disputed and I gave them all the information they were asking for. Screenshots from the order, but nothing was enough to convince them I had worked with the vendor. Then, they asked for my bank information in order to prove I worked with the vendor. I stopped the conversation there and decided it wasn't worth pursuing. Do not believe the reviews, all the negative reviews are disputed and it is almost impossible to keep them from being removed.
Hi Josh-
We are sorry to hear about your experience with this vendor. Once a review is disputed, our Review Dispute Team does need to receive specific documentation to verify a review. If a reviewer decides to provide proof of payment, we need to see that the payment was made. A screenshot of an order total may not work if it is not clear a payment was made. We can also accept a contract signed by both parties to verify a review if that is more convenient. I hope this information helps, if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to us again at support@weddingwire.com.
Lauren, thanks for wasting your time with a BS answer, here is another response. There was no name calling, but there was shaming and all sorts of disrespect. The thing is you claim to foster a positive environment and you do not. As seen in other claims on here and simply by browsing forums. My guess is my reviews, emails, and response on my forum before I deleted my account must have gotten under your skin. Do everyone a favor. Fix the issue instead of defending it to a customer you have already lost.
At first I loved this website, then I went on the forum and oh my goodness... I simply posted and asked for opinions about wearing a tiara in my royal themed castle wedding. What I got were a few nice responses and one cranky woman in particular who would not quit. "Are you royalty?" (If you cannot see the sarcasm in that, like the WW admins didn't, then get your eyes checked) "Ya well if you aren't royalty it just looks like a childish sweet 16 party" when I asked why she was being so harsh and why not just give me the advice she goes "It's a public forum, I can say what I want". I flagged a number of her responses, and at one point felt like I had to shut her up because the admins weren't doing anything! MY RESPONSES WERE REMOVED! And other women who agreed that the rude woman was being catty, THEIR COMMENTS WERE REMOVED! One simply stated "I don't know why people feel the need to be so negative and nasty here" and then went on to discuss the topic, and HER COMMENT GOT REMOVED! Meanwhile, the rude woman still had all her comments on there.
I am convinced that there is a group of unhappily married, just plain nasty, or old and bitter women and they just like to go on the attack. It was like being in high school! And seeing the other comments on here makes me happy, because I know I am not alone. You cannot convince me that the admins are not biased.
They say they check out every "flagged" response and compare it to their "strict guidelines" but wow, what failure to enforce an "anti bullying policy". Now, here comes the typical response from an admin, saying they carefully check everything, they look at the guidelines, they enforce a "be nice" atmosphere, they carefully reviewed everything, blah blah blah...
They fail to see where a comment or an opinion is an actual insult as long as it isn't about a particular person. "That is going to look childish!" Yup, that comment is ok! "Why are you being no negative? Take your negativity somewhere else!" BOOM, comment removed. So glad people actually put pictures up on here of certain things, because some would almost not believe the ridiculousness.
I showed all the women I know at work, and my bridesmaids, everything! The forum, the comments, the "community guidelines", the removed comments, the rude woman, and they all said the same thing..."The admins must know this woman, because that shouldn't be okay, it is clearly bullying!" You cannot convince any of us otherwise! Shameful.
And like all other reviews on here, an admin will reply to this with "contact us further with questions or concerns or to help resolve... blah blah blah"... please, don't waste your time. Because you're not going to resolve anything, and I'm not going to waste my time reading it. But I will take the time to let people know about your "community guidelines" and how well you enforce them.
Claire is absolutely wonderful! I have to admit I was stressed when I found out our representative had changed, but her response time, knowledge, respectfulness and follow up put me right at ease! She took all the stress away, answered all of my questions, and was super helpful! In addition she was delightful, engaging and fun to talk to! We are very thankful she is our rep and excited to be working with her! Thank you Wedding Wire for always taking care of us!
Wedding wire was introduced to me by our daughter to keep my small home studio floral business organised.
I wanted just the basic online resources, user friendly for a old lady like meeeee!, as I knew I had a great potential for marketing.
I only wanted an online tool to keep everything in one place and also had some kind of award for excellent customer service.
Wedding wire was a double whammy for me! I have learned so much and value online business as I hardly get any phone calls which is such an asset. I do everything on wedding wire and I learn as I go. I did not even need any training except when I get stuck for may be something small.
One of our preferred vendors who refer so many clients to us, a venue that is always booked use only wedding wire. They are a very homely venue and very family oriented. My business is the same and I thought... mmmmm if they only use wedding wire I should just stick to it and it has been a wonderful journey.
Every thing I need is under one roof. I do not attend any marketing promotional events, my main goal is to have everything in one place and this is perfect!
All the customer service representatives that I have worked with over the years have been awesome! I have no regrets.

This is what I believe in and kindness will come to you from all!
Thank you wedding wire!
It has been such a awesome journey for Kreativehands

They let their clients dispute claims to keep only the good reviews. Terrible people should know what they are getting into before they get completely screwed over!
Hi there,
Vendors are only encouraged to dispute Reviews they believe violate our Terms of Use. Please keep in mind, WeddingWire never simply removes negative reviews. The more reviews on our site, the more information there is for engaged couples to make decisions about vendors to hire for their own weddings! However, once a review is disputed, it becomes the Dispute Team's responsibility to determine whether or not that review in question does or does not violate our Terms of Use. If you have any questions about the Dispute process, please feel free to reach out to us at support@weddingwire.com and we would be happy to help!
When your planning a wedding you want to feel special, Well I've felt nothing but that from weddingwire. I wanted our website to be ready to go once our Save The Dates went out. I want to personally Thank Heather for all her support with our website.
Wedding Wire is the best thing that could have been invented for the modern bride. Everything is in one central location. It's like one stop shopping. I had an issue where i inadvertently created 2 account, not recognizing i had the incorrect email address on the 2nd account, (which in fact was the account that i was utilizing), I panicked because i thought I lost access. I sent a message to wedding wire, and Michelle, immediately returned my call early next morning and corrected it in less than 5 minutes. Needless to say, my panicked moment was short lived. Thank you for your site. I really appreciate it.
I have to give props to Heather from Wedding Wire! I was in such a panic when I realized I couldn't edit my wedding website with my registry information. I reached out to customer support and within the first day, I had already received communication with ways to fix my issue. Turns out I was a total klutz and didn't realize I had a duplicate account which Heather quickly relayed to me. THANK YOU SO MUCH Heather, you were so efficient and handled my situation with grace!
Weddingwire has SO many capabilities! Not only can you do rsvps on this website, but you can add other questions like who will be taking your shuttle! The customer service is so responsive and helpful. I recommend any couple getting married to use this website!
What an awful experience! First, their forums where brides are supposed to share ideas and cheer each other on are peppered with NEGATIVE comments and controversy. And further, there is no way to delete your own post if it goes downhill. Even deleting your profile from a handheld device is impossible. Customer service is lackluster, insulting and slow to respond. This website is a wedding buzzkill!
Hi Jenny-
We are sorry to hear about your negative experience.
