After reading reviews below i feel skeptic but let's see. My phone has been collected by PDP couple of days ago, i received email today stating my phone was worth from £335 to £230 due to heavy scratches. OMG, fuming here. Phone been all this time in double case, had it for less than 2 years with not a scratch and not only that but DPD person who collected my phone took pictures from all sides whilst i was holding it in my pals. I rang them back and complained that this is impossible as pictures proof phone being in pristine condition. O2 themselves was giving me £265 if i were to recycle with them. Let's see if they can find those pictures from DPD collection to back my story.

After sending my phone in I was quite upset after reading the reviews. Most people hadn't been paid out so I was convinced I wouldn't. But my email said I would be paid within 5 working days. On the 5th working day my money went into my bank as they said it would. The whole service was very easy and smooth and regardless of other reviews, I would recommend this company 100%. They are trustworthy and prompt with payment like they said they would be. Anyone who has had trouble with them obviously hasn't done as they were meant to.

Got an E-mail saying my phone had been accepted and later that day was sent another E-mail saying it had been examined and had passed. So I was expecting the money into my account the same day as it says on their website -Same day payment after examination by our team-
Guess what Yeah no payment but was told it would reach my account in five days? What the hell.
These are their words below.

It is clearly after the 7th of November 2020 so why do I have to wait 5 days. Starting to get a very bad feeling about these clowns.

WHOLE SERVICE TOOK 5 DAYS! Not quite the same-day payment as advertised but that was due to influx of orders... sent my phone on 05/12 - arrived on 06/12 - emailed on 07/12 for an update - reply received 08/12 - FULL PAYMENT received on 09/12.

Can't fault the service really - not sure why so many people are leaving negative reviews - my experience was positive. Maybe customers should be a bit more truthful around the condition of the devices!? Thanks webuyanyphone hopefully will use you again in the future

I sent my phone away a few months ago after calling to find out why I hadn't been paid, they processed my order and promised on 7th of June that payment would be processed and in my account that night before midnight. I waited a few days and no funds were received, I've since contacted the company nearly every day and spoken to the same people, a few times and they have both very helpful and assured me on each day the money would be paid into my account, after not receiving the payment I called again today and spoke to Menzie who has been very good and kind enough to stick to his word and have the payment put in my account.

I have put honest 3 star review as the process has been very slow and taken a while to get resolved, but I am so glad it has now been rectified.

Essentially there business model is:- Quote High>>>>>> Test model and pick up any minor mark and kick it in the nuts>>>>>>New Valuation and get you all excited that we will pay you your reduced fee that day.

Knowing most people cannot be arsed to have phone sent back.

Essentially rob your phone for a silly price.

Do not use as they will find annnnnnnny excuse not to pay you the full amount. Avoid like the plague. I just hope I've saved other people from the experience we have had. Rob dogs.

No need for me to lie here, the phone was in perfect condition. Offered £155, great - they then change that to £30 because the screen, rear housing and bezels considerable wear - no it does not, lie.

Do not bother, basically a scam.

Total fraudsters. Not the fact they knock money off, that is fair and what I expected.

What I did not expect was to be waiting more than 3 times the amount of time stated for payment(which still has not arrived).

I have complained direct, giving them 5 more working days to pay, otherwise I will be reporting for theft of my phone, or fraud. Both are correct.

If this was the other way around, missed payment charges would apply, a debt recovery company would be involved and I would have bad credit.

I will now take this to trading standards then the small claims court.

Terrible company. I wish I had researched and not used them.

Please just avoid at all costs.

Sold my iPhone XS to this company after using a compare site that said We Buy Any Phone would give me £380 for it. Put my immaculate phone in its original box, bubble wrapped the $#*! out of it and sent it via postage instructions. Got an email saying there's a fault. My phone isn't actually good it's average dropping price to £280 saying heavy scarring to screen. I always had protective equipment on my phone. I called them and they didn't answer, filled in a call me back from online and never got a call back. It's been over 5 days and still haven't paid me. I accepted the offer on the same day because I need the money. Stay away from this company!

I found we buy any phone on a comparison website and offered the best price. Even managed to get an extra £15 through the Black Friday deal. I should have known the offer was too good to be true.
After being offered around £140 for an Iphone SE 128Gb (2020) in pretty good condition - they classified the phone as 'Average' on the basis that the battery condition was less than 85%. After 2 years of use I'd be astonished if any phone still had 85% battery. Their new offer for the phone was £44.

Avoid at all costs - there are far better companies out there that will pay you fairly

Offered £178 for phone, was in very good condition, they informed me that it was badly scratched front and rear, revised price to £120, rejected this saying the phone didn't have any scratches.
Phoned them and advised them I wanted the phone returned and was told they had revised their offer to £148, again I refused, threatened them with legal proceedings and got another call from a customer service manager who told me the phone would be returned the next day, which it did!
Needless to say no scratches, I wish I had read reviews on this company before.
Don't use, even if you get slightly less for your handset!

Offering high price then drop it once they get the phone. My phone was in case since day 1. And they showed me scratches on the screen, their finger prints all over the phone and ofc dropped the price by half what I was offered. Then contacting them to send my phone back because I'm not happy with the price they offer and no reply, get ignored. So you got no option but just to accept their offer or it will be accepted automatically in few days time. They making good profits out from this, reselling. My advice to you is sell your phone somewhere else or in person where you can say no if they trying to play you. But once you send your phone in for them… you're done. Don't even want my phone back scratched up…

AVOID these con artists at all costs!
They quoted me £156 for my iPhone XR. Sent it to them in fully working condition, minor scratches/marks from general wear and tear. Few days later I get a message from them saying the screen is damaged and they are now offering a totally laughable £19! They claim their service is "Risk free and fully insured" - Don't believe it, don't waste your time. This is a common problem with them. My phone was securely packaged in bubble wrap and this is what happens!

This company is shambolic and I am putting measures in place to take the necessary legal action to recover my money. After being told they will offer the highest price for the iPhone, upon receipt it would appear it miraculously developed scratches during transit, resulting in a lower offer price being made... For a simple life, I agreed, but that was just the start of it! After being told my bank account details are incorrect, they somehow still allegedly made a payment and now state that the money has been sent... Well I can assure it hasn't! I am still awaiting payment despite being told a pack of lies. It seems like I am not the only one too. Like I say, I am taking legal action and will seek to ensure these fraudsters will never be able to trade again!
