I should have learned from we by any car They did exactly the same, offer you a price to get you in and then cut you down to less than 50% of the offer. Me not being desperate for the cash in both instances I told them to piss off! So you are better off shopping around online and stay away from the Scammers…
This company is an absolute joke. I was quoted £45 for my iPhone SE, in my opinion it was in good condition. When they tested the phone they said the screen had 'considerable wear'. Their revised offer was £0! They then charged me £10.75 to return the phone. Such a Scam!
Only give one star so i can write a review do not sell to these Go private dont ever use these there quick to send envelope out. Give u a good price get your phone tben make out something is up with your phone then you accept new offer and then they wont pay out they start saying ur payment has gone missing and fraud team are onto it took me 6 weeks to get my money only because i was on at them everyday from morning till teatime threatening them with trading standards speaking and getting fobbed off by grace who answers the phone everytime saying the same $#*!e id never ever use them again total con they need closing down
Did not process payment as promise. Took phones from me and hen ignored every time I tried to contact!
If you dont get anywhere then try to contact Menzie who works there. Phone his mobile directly and he will pay up.
The company genuinely try to rip you off. Sent a iphone 12 pro max in mint condition apart from a tiny little mark on the back. They offered me 675 pound for it. They got it. Looked it over and offered me 240 pound! They claimed the back had heavy use. Which was genuinely insulting. The phone had never been out a case! I don't understand how they offered me less than scrap value (which was 280 pound). Avoid company at all costs!
Absolute Rob dogs. Offer you a good price after you answer the questions honestly and then when get the phone they will absolutely come back with a derisory offer that most people will accept as it's them more hassle to get the phone back. Don't trust them.
2 weeks ago I sold my iPhone 7 to this company. It was in absolute mint condition. Originally they offered £207 but when the received my phone they said there was "moderate wear to the casing" and offered a revise price of £187 - rather than go through the hassle of having my mobile reposted back to me I agreed the new price. Was told payment would be in account within 5 days. 16 days and numerous calls later - no payment!
This company is run by thieves! Please avoid at all costs. I shall be seeking legal advice.
Do not consider this scam company at all, they just exist to rip you off and lie. I sent my Samsung 9 in excellent condition. Thought too it was silly for me to buy a new phone as it works great, I just wanted a better photobquality with the new iPhone I got. The quality of my phone including the screen is pristine clean and looks like new! I wrapped everything in bubble carefully before sending the package, and now they say there are heavy scratches on the screen. Can't believe I fell for this scam and now I'm freaking out to discover my phone damaged if I ever receive it back! Question for the people who had bad experiences with these scammers, do you know to which organism to complain and report them? Especially if they never send you back your phone or a damaged phone. Thank you!
Absolute scammers.
Sent a ludicrous offer for my phone, then have the gall to want to charge me £10.75 to get my phone returned.
A V O I D
EDIT The only reason you are asking for info is hoping people won't supply it so the review gets taken down
UPDATE - I GOT £90 MORE FROM ENVIRONPHONE.
Your company should be ashamed of itself. Your are crooks.
I will strive to make sure nobody uses your scam of a company again
Shameful
If selling a phone NEVER use webuyanyphone.com. After six weeks of me e-mailing and phoning and letters sent I have had, 2 cheques supposedly go missing in the post which then needed to be investigated by Royal Mail. The third cheque was stopped by them after I had put it into my account. So then they decided to pay it into my account which they said would happen on 29 June. Guess what it didn't happen and there excuse was the system went down. So this morning to my amazement when I checked my account the money was payed in. Hallelujah it's only taken 6 weeks.
So lesson learned never use webuyany.com they want your phone but reluctant to pay out.
Unfortunately i used this company who initially offered £300 for my phone. A week later they claimed the phone was cracked / damaged and revised their offer to £60...
The phone was collected on behalf of this company by a sublet company who confirmed at the time of collection the phone was in good condition with no cracks or scratches.
When the phone was returned to me parts were missing and the camera cracked... I now have a damaged phone with missing parts...
The customer service is terrible AVOID like the clap..
My iPhone 8 was in pristine condition. Once they received it they offered £40 less than agreed saying it wasn't in good condition which is far from the truth. Feel conned and have asked them to return device!
Swerve!
I sent my phone off (Samsung Galaxy S20)- in full working order and very good condition, after being offered an ok price by Webuyanyphone. I was then contacted after they had received it, to be told it was faulty and that the glass on the back had come away. I know for a fact that the phone was in very good condition. I still used it up to the point of sending to them! I had sent it them in the original box and well packaged. They reduced the price to £45 from £170. I have told them to return the phone to me, Even if it has been damaged either in transit or on delivery, I am not allowing them to profiteer from it. I should have listed the item on Ebay, as I was very sceptical about sending to them and my scepticism has clearly been justified, Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of using this company. Never again will I use this or any other phone buying company.
The criteria according to which they rate the state of your device is so broad and vague that you almost surely will see your offer 'revised'. In my case, a barely noticeable dent and a very light mark on the back was enough for the rating of 'good' to be revised and the offer went down from £195 to £25! After asking them to send the phone back they raised the offer to £35. After declining again they informed me that I had to pay £10 for the shipping. You have to send an email, as they do not have an option to decline the offer on the webpage. Nor do they inform clearly of the cost of sending back your device. A similar company at least offered me £60 and gave me the option to decline or accept the revised offer. They sent the phone promptly for free when I refused.
This company was on BBC watchdog consumer rights programme for reducing the price offered for non existing damage and delayed payments. I had to threaten court action two and a half weeks after sending them a phone to get paid.
If you want fast payment and a better service go elsewhere. This guys are the Pits, and have a similar vibe of moped phone robbers. You would think they would improve their service to beat their competitors, after being on TV for bad business. NOT. NO no no no.
I sent an as-new iPhone 14 Pro, still with the original screen protector and boxed so the brand new cable— not a mark, scuff or single issue with the phone— it had been used for one month before work issued me a work phone. The phone has been kept in the case and even had the original seal.
I posted the phone, paid for upgraded insurance of £750 and next day delivery with three lots of double wrap.
I was just informed there are slight marks on the screen, which there absolutely isn't and a revised price of less than £100 than they offered.
The phone was brand new and in perfect condition.
I have now had a chance to review the reviews on here and other websites and it's clear that they're intentionally providing a higher price and on receipt of the phone offering a lower price knowing it's not worth the hassle of returning the device.
The code provided by them showed no makes at all.
This service is a scam, and I am going to write a letter to the trading standards body this weekend as I feel there is anther evidence with this website and other reviews that they're reading in bad faith.
Avoid webuyanyphone as they are con artists trying to scam sellers.
I agreed to an offer for my 6month old renewed Iphone 12 of £331. I sent the phone to them and they received it 17/11/22 and I got an email this morning saying problem and a revised offer. I logged in and was angry with there revised offer of £180. This Iphone was in excellent condition with no marks at all.
They offered to increase offer to £210 but I declined and am awaiting its return.
Terrible, Terrible company...AVOID
They will not pay you if you send your phone to them! Check their Twitter feed to see how many people waiting for payment. I ended up having to claim for the money owed to me through the courts. If you've been stung by these shysters you should do the same. It's quick and easy to fill out a claim https://www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money
A shambles. Original offer was £267, when they received the phone the offer reduced to £80 despite it being in great condition. They magnified the screen and highlighted some scratching. If you refused the offer you are then charged £11 for return of the phone. Very poor show.
They offered my partner one price for her phone. Upon receipt they invented a fault that didn't exist and changed there offer. When she declined and asked for her phone back it was returned with damage to the screen that wasn't previously there. They are a deeply shady company who you should not trust.
Answer: I sent my phone in and when they received it I was told I'd receive payment within 5 working days. On the 5th working day I received ful payment that they told mee.
Answer: I got through to them and threatened them with legal action, as they reduced my price, after saying phone was badly scratched front and rear, which it wasn't, and informed them that I had taken photos of the phone before I sent it! Be strong, they are rogues
