They offered my partner one price for her phone. Upon receipt they invented a fault that didn't exist and changed there offer. When she declined and asked for her phone back it was returned with damage to the screen that wasn't previously there. They are a deeply shady company who you should not trust.
Warning they offer you the best price then say your phone is damaged when it is not and lower the price they offer by a lot offered £520 when they got phone they offered £325 there were no marks on the phone it was as new still in a box
They have had my iPhone 6 for over a week and have failed to pay me. Impossible to contact as their phone number continually cuts off. To date I have received no email or calls. Just a text which canno be replied to. Avoid!?
Oh my god. I'd wished I'd read these reviews before sending my phone off. I was offered £173, then after testing stating the fingerprint scanner was worn and the screen had scratches.
The fingerprint was worn however, common fault on S9.
To say the screen has scratches is ridiculous. Totally laughable. If it comes back with scratches I will take it all the way. As I have a photo before sending it. This is timed and so is the receipt.
Valued the phone at £120, sent the phone to them (up to this point all their emails had come to my inbox) Then they send me an email that it was worth £30 due to battery degradation. However, strangely this email went to my junk mail. Weird eh? So I didn't see it and eventually responded after 7 days asking them to return the phone as this was not the agreed price. They responded that due to this being outside the 5 days response policy I would just have to accept the money offered. Absolute charlatans I could have sold it for at least £ 80 at our local high street phone supplier. They're absolute charlatans
IPhone 7 - Payment not made within their 5 working day policy. Phoned yesterday 4.40pm told payment would be in my account later that evening! No payment! This is repetitive of what others have said. I would not use this company they reel you in by offering most money then knock your offer down, then no payment. DO NOT USE
I decided to trade in my old phone to WeBiyAnyPhone, based on the amount offered by them compared to most other companies. The process of sending the phone was great, but they then contacted me saying that there was a problem (which was never specified) and they were only prepared to offer me a third of what they originally offered. I have requested that the phone be returned to me.
Utterly terrible company to deal with.
They initially tried to argue the iPhone 8 I was selling was damaged (it wasn't - it was even sent in an old Otterbox case!) then changed their tune and agreed to pay the quoted price when I asked them to send the phone back.
However two weeks later I was forced to chased them to find out where the money was. Was met with bluff and counter bluff.
Immediately told them that due to the length of the time I'd had to wait, their lack of communication and the terrible reviews online I would begin action via county courts and trading standards.
Surprise, surprise, I got a call back within an hour saying the money would be paid that day.
But surprise, surprise, no payment was made.
Court it is then.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY
Sent my phone in good condition - my offer went from £213 to £51 bcos apparently heavy wear and tear on screen. They have scratched my phone and now it's been returned with marks all over it. The whole time I had my phone it had a screen protector on it and the scratches they've added is not wear and tear. They've used an instrument to scratch it as all marks are exactly the same thickness and all over the screen. They've totally messed it up so I can't sell it now. Shoddy company. Absolute liars. Do not use. I have photographic evidence of how I sent it and how it returned to me. I intend to take this further.
webuyanyphone.com may look like the ideal choice because they offer the most money for your phone... but for me once I sent my phone off they knocked the price down by £70 for damages (it looks like they have done this to many others. To save myself the hassle I accepted the lower price. After emails and phone calls I still have not received my money. I wish I read up on reviews before I chose to sell my phone to them. In my next email I am going to threaten to take them to the small claims court, this seems like the resort I need to go to in order to get my money.
Avoid them, use a different trusted company even if they offer slightly less for your phone... You wont get it from webuyanyphone.com anyway!
Avoid this company. They do not pay out. I phone every day and every day I am told that the money will be paid later that day. This morning I rang and spoke to Grace who promised me an email this afternoon informing me my payment had been made - no email and no payment YET AGAIN. Always tomorrow well I will be reporting to Trading Standards tomorrow just like all the other people who have written reviews on here should be doing - lets get this place shut down.
Was offered 211 for my phone what was in really good condition as the case was always on. They obviously damaged and made the screen look really bad so they can lower the price all the way down to 95, I only accepted it as I couldn't be bothered trying to get my phone back which would probably involve a charge and they've obviously damaged it, if the price seems too good to be true it usually is, please don't use the company, if I didn't live so far away from there depot I would of went down to have a chat with the owner
DO NOT USE
Awful awful awful.
Please do not use this company, they are scammers! Originally offered £214 for my phone, now £110, my iPhone was in perfect condition!
Also it does not state that you then have to pay a fee of £10.00 to have the phone returned to you.
The 5* reviews must be staff/fake reviews. I have never dealt with a company so bad & with such bad customer service.
Please, do not use for your own good
Offered me £201.00 online.
Then when they received the phone they adjusted their offer to £70.00 due to the battery health. I have used the phone a LOT for 3 years, the battery is absolutely fine. It does not have 100% capacity, more like 80% but what more could you expect after 3 years of use.
They knew when they made the offer the phone was over 3 years old and common sense would tell you the battery wouldn't have 100% capacity.
Anyway, I declined the offer f £70.00 and they then came back with a revised offer of £150.00. Talk about trying it on!
Again, I declined again and asked for the phone back.
Moral of the story- don't get drawn in by their initial high offer. And if you do, don't fall for their tricks.
Send your device elsewhere and go by the online reviews of individual companies.
You have been warned.
Use another Company, after threatening to contact the police because they had obtain my phone and was not paying the money owed for my old mobile, I was paid. The company should be avoided by all cost, they leave a really bad taste with the way they treat you and I do believe they try to not pay you for the mobile.
Terrible company. Sold them iphone XR in april 2021, october 2021 and there was STILL no payment. Phoned them, they said it had been passed in august (LIES). I threatened to take them to small claims and they paid the money by next day, £70 instead of the promised £120. A V O I D
Sent my IPhone 8 Plus in on 26/02 Received an email on 28/02 to say my payment had been authorised. Still had no payment on 08/03 so contacted the company using there online contact form and I was told the money would be in my bank by the end of the day. 11/03 still had no money in my account so called them to be told they would fast track my money to be in within 48 hours and shock still no money! Will be contacting trading standards if the money is not in my account today.

I sent them my iPhone 7+ which had been in a case with a screen protector from the get go, I also sent it to them in the original box so it would not get damaged in transit. They contacted me stating it had light scratches and reduced offer by £20 which I accepted to avoid hassle and waited for my money, which still has not arrived. Contacted them to be told to wait a bit longer and contact them again if it has not arrived, which it has not and I am still chasing. VERY disappointed with this company and would not recommend to my worst enemy!
I sent my phone to these an iphone 7 128gb which i was offered £305 for. They then emailed and said its only worth £200 and i accepted. They said i would receive payment on the 9th of August. I still haven't received a penny. Iv now took it upon myself to take this company to a small claims court for my money and iv also reported them to trading standards. I will report back on what happens
Offer you a good price after you answer the questions honestly and then when get the phone they will absolutely come back with a derisory offer that most people will accept as it's them more hassle to get the phone back. Don't trust them.
Answer: I sent my phone in and when they received it I was told I'd receive payment within 5 working days. On the 5th working day I received ful payment that they told mee.
Answer: I got through to them and threatened them with legal action, as they reduced my price, after saying phone was badly scratched front and rear, which it wasn't, and informed them that I had taken photos of the phone before I sent it! Be strong, they are rogues
